Looks like its just going to be an all Audi Race, I love Audi but no competition to the end makes me sad.

They're interviewing Ralf Juttner about the Dumas incident :lol::lol:

"The good thing is that when he brought the car to the pits, the bodywork was already gone so half of the work was done!"

JRM HDP i believe

many people plan on watching the whole race?
i managed it last year..will try to stay up again

I'm guessing it drove down the pit lane on electric power tried to fire engine and..... nothing

Shame, Toyota can't get anything right.

Can't get anything right? They've returned after a long absence, and yet managed to actually beat all 4 Audi's in terms of speed. Of course no one knows whether they would've beaten Audi in the long run, but I'd say they did pretty damn well (up until the crashes) considering this is their first entry in years.

Just like Peugeot in year 1.

What's the point of running with no downforce? What kind of racing benefits can exactly bring this project?

Not even sure it will have something to do with road car technology. The tight shape can't be ported to everyday cars. What's next, a Nissan sidecar?

Shhhhhh.

Adults are speaking.

"He's such a small guy I didn't know he had such force in him" (not exact quote but you get the point) also made me

John Hindhaugh of RLM said that Toyota will win this race in the next 3 years.

Mr. Hindhaugh, you have just jinxed this team for the next 3 years!

I jinxed them first actually. :sly: Both for this race and for the future.

I Think we all knew what would happen when Toyota went up against Audi in the long run. The only team that had the real experience & reliability quit / ran out of money ...

I love how the helicopter shot lets you see the flashes when they go trough the photographers zones.

tbh, I think Toyota had a real good shot at winning the race, had it not been for the accidents. None of the cars showed any real problems, granted it's still fairly early in the race.
