Rubbish. It had no rear damage. None.
That's rubbish, it even hit the armco with its left rear, heck the spoiler was hanging down on one side.
You can't tell if he lost control because of a touch or not from the footage at all.

Was the info from the replay wrong too? The Ferrari looked like it was nowhere near the Toyota when it came flying into frame sidewards. The Ferrari would've braked and not hit the Audi if it had already hit the Toyota.

Sorry, but both Lapierre and Leupen (the teamboss) confirmed the car got hit by a GTE car and the only one close enough was the Ferrari.

The team with 3 cars has 42,85 % chances to win the race against an unsurprinsgly low 28,57% of Toyota and Porsche.

I don't understand how the Ferrari would be that far back from the Toyota if he had hit him without the brake lights coming on until after he hit the Audi.

Maybe the Ferrari was already much slower than the Toyota, I have no idea.
But I rather listen to the official sources, than trusting replays where you can't see anything.
And again, the Toyota's rear was damaged, a slight touch won't leave extreme visible marks on these cars anyway.
 
Any idea what the problem is? They have a 3 lap lead on the 2nd place car.

Well, it's back on pitlane, let's hope they release it quickly!

And sorry for the guy here who said the arab driver on #66 was his cousin. Somebody beached that car, and apparently it was your cousin.

Le Mans Hour Twenty-Three:

The #20 of Webber was in the garage, and falling down the order. The #95 Aston Martin was struggling to get going on pit exit, but fortunately got underway again. The #35 got overtaken for the LMP2 lead on the Mulsanne by the #46 TDS Racing Ligier, which was a sign of the ever-decreasing pace in the OAK Racing Ligier camp. Sure enough, the car had to be taken to the pits, and eventually to the garage. Was this the end of the OAK Racing LMP2 challenge? Was the #95 not experiencing plain sailing? Were Porsche about to lose a car to issues? It was all kicking off here at Le Mans!

The last question soon got an answer. Webber climbed out of the car and everyone began to embrace, a sure sign that the Porsche #20 was out, and indeed it was.

This meant that Anthony Davidson would be promoted to third in the #8 Toyota, and the #14 Porsche was moving up at the expense of its sister car. In GTE PRO, the Corvette #73 of Antonio Garcia was closing up rapidly on Fred Makowiecki in the #92 Porsche. Seemingly, the GTE PRO fight was still wide open with 90 minutes left.

The OAK Racing Ligier was now back out, but down in fifth in LMP2. Thiriet by TDS Racing lead with Tristan Gommendy, with Oliver Turvey putting on a great display in the Jota Zytek. Elsewhere, the #14 of Marc Lieb was experiencing gearbox issues. The car was immediately brought into the pits and into the garage.

These latest dramas left the Rebellion looking likely to inherit fourth overall if the #14 could not be repaired. Fred Makowiecki made his stop in the Porsche, yielding second to Antonio Garcia, who was driving like a man possessed in the #73 Corvette, but didn’t look able to catch Bruni for the win.

So with an hour left the #2 Audi of Benoit Treluyer is leading LMP1 by three laps. Ollie Turvey leads in LMP2 by just a couple of seconds, with Ludovic Badey just one and a half seconds back. Gianmaria Bruni leads in GT PRO, while the GTE AM leading #95 Aston still sits on top of the classification, but had to visit the pits briefly in the first minutes of the last hour.

The JMW Ferrari finds the gravel as we continue into the final minutes of the race…
