So you are just ignoring the fact that their car has the pace of an LMP2? ;)

Just as their Deltawing and ZEOD, the GTR LMP is abysmal...

What part of "they are a brand new manufacturer" can't you comprehend? Give them a chance man! How can you conveniently overlook the vast development difference between something like the Porsche 919 or the Audi R18 - the fact they are years behind the other LMP1 cars - so easily? You ask way too much of them way too early.

No racing experience. Little testing. Little development. Am I concerned that they started with all but one LMP2 cars in-front of them? Not one bit. Because I have something called patience. I realize nothing can be achieved with the time they have had with the car. Rome was not built in a day.

Judge them on their performance in 2-3 years time. Then you can mock them to your hearts content. If they still are performing this badly then you can.

I'm willing to give any non-G56* entry that wants to try something different the benefit of a doubt considering it makes things interesting and it's not my money.

*My only real issue with the G56 program is that it's a "one and done" type thing. I feel it would be far more interesting if each entry got 3-4 years to work things out.

Eurosport's female journalist telling Danny Watts that the S103 chassis won't race next year, and nearly scared him when he heard that. Yeah, thanks for reminding me about the ridiculously limitating LMP2 regulations that will probably kill any chance of seeing Dome back in Le Mans, miss, really appreciated that. :irked:

Wow the #17 Porsche was just like bye! That thing just took off. Really great to see this many LMP1 cars.
Yeah, it was crazy to see how fast the #17 pulled away on the restart. I would've figured the #18 could've kept up with it, but nope. Is Timo Bernhard just that much faster than Neel Jani?

Maybe the #18 wasn't fully recharged or as charged as the #17? This happened before, at Silverstone with Audi and Toyota if I remember correctly..

Its the power of the hybrid, nothing more.

Can I bother you guys asking for comprehensive updates every now and then?

This year I'm a so called "journalist" covering local races and stuff and sadly I had to go to a TC2000 race today in the evening. I'm disheartened so I decided to just not watch Le Mans altogether.

What I'm trying to say is: I wish y'all a good time, a lively discussion that'll keep you awake for the entire 24 Hours. I'm gonna really miss this forum and the awesome friends from all corners of the globe that shared such a special time of the year with me. Le Mans is such a ritual for me thanks to you guys and I'm really REALLY looking forward to joining you next year.

My regards to @LMSCorvetteGT2 and my mate @Luminis, have fun all of you!

I noticed the #19 peak and through on hybrid during the first half hour or so. I'm going to monitor that extremely closely.
