Given that they HAVE to multi stint the tyres I say, no.It may be for safety, to limit the number of worn tire blowouts.

Gutted for the TF Sport guys... does anyone know if they are back out on track?
Depends on how you define 'ridiculous'. Frankly I think this isn't nearly as 'ridiculous' as LMP2 leading an actual couple of hours last year, but what do I know. It's last year's race that got us here. LMP1 got too good for its own good.Indeed. As it sits now, this has been the most ridiculous Le Mans running.
less than an hour to go. Time to get nervous all over again.
Can't see it because we have to watch dumb and dumber, Neil and Tom!Button parked. And out.

Earlier they repaired the #11 for over 2 hours, now they are really out.. Gutted for them and Benson Jutton.
Exactly. Until Pescarolo at least thought about troubling them, this was the norm when they first got good. It's funny how people still manage to forget all those gimmee's that Audi got until Peugeot turned up.

Still my go to Gr. 1 car in GT Sport.Peugeot also got the prettier car too at that time in my opinion, the 908. Wonder if Peugeot would return to Le Mans and WEC though...

true...they held the LMP1 runner up position for several hours.Wow, SMP Racing have really had hard luck in this race. Unlike Aston Martin and ByKolles, I actually feel for them.
Benson Jutton.
Maybe with the new rules, they could entertain the idea of coming back. They did have a car made up for the following season, until they pulled the plug. Which from what i remember, kinda forced Toyota to start a year earlier.Peugeot also got the prettier car too at that time in my opinion, the 908.
