Last year it was 2 out of 6 at the chequer...so the attrition rate almost remains the same....Thats 5 of 10 LMP1 out.. 5th in LMP1 is one of the Manor Ginettas, still running.

I just woke up, I overslept so frantically trying to turn the TV on just to see them with their class lesson then a commercial break 🤬Can't see it because we have to watch dumb and dumber, Neil and Tom!
Peugeot also got the prettier car too at that time in my opinion, the 908. Wonder if Peugeot would return to Le Mans and WEC though...
I'm not sure what Peugeot will be doing next, actually, WRX aside. They're not even doing Dakar next year...Peugeot also got the prettier car too at that time in my opinion, the 908. Wonder if Peugeot would return to Le Mans and WEC though...
They have a TCR car.I'm not sure what Peugeot will be doing next, actually, WRX aside. They're not even doing Dakar next year...
Us Dutchies truly have it good. Apart from a quick shot in split screen of the commentators every few hours we never see them. And they always have 1 (ex) racer as commentator.
Ah, yes. But the fact I forgot about it shows how mediocre it is at the moment. They have a TCR car.
Eurosport or RTL?
Maybe with the new rules, they could entertain the idea of coming back. They did have a car made up for the following season, until they pulled the plug. Which from what i remember, kinda forced Toyota to start a year earlier.
Back then they said if there were severe cost cutting they would heavily consider it. So maybe...?

That's shame though. Didn't knew they prepared a new car though. Is it already a working prototype?
Supposedly, Peugeot has been involved with the work on the GTP regulations so hopefully they will join in. I'm all for as much manufacturer involvement as possible.
All the manufacturers have a hand in it. That doesn't mean they are going to enter.I believe Ferrari has had a hand in the process as well. So Peugeot, Toyota, Ferrari, and maybe, say, McLaren. That would make for a cracking championship.
Peugeot had their new hybrid cars ready in 2012, they were already at Sebring ready for the season to start when management pulled the plug, it's 6 years old now though so wouldn't even be as quick as the current LMP2 cars. That's shame though. Yup, even with all their dominance. As everyone is saying, roll on the hypercar era...Wait... so Peugeot also left Dakar? Are they were going to have same fate as Mitsubishi? I hope not.

I think everyone is confused on these rules. Commentators are having trouble figuring it out. Because there's like three things that are limited. Energy, Fuel Flow, and stint length.Ok sorry for my false answers, the maximum allowed laps for the Toyota are indeed 11 laps. 10s penalty for #7.
