Hey 888,

I want teh ability for you to set up my car when I email you the car/race PP etc. Can I pay you like $5 month on paypal to have this option?

Thanks,

More than happy to do that for you :)

Thanks for all the feedback guys..
Trazker, Crowsey and L_Hamilton I will get to all your tune requests over the next few days. :) stay tuned !! (so to speak)

If your asking for a tune for the S-xx races please let me know what car your wanting to use and what track so I can set that one up for you and for that track :)

that is not a problem for the first time i have been challenging for the lead in races on Suzuka 750PP.. and finally got my lap times down to 2.03 which i think is pretty quick although it isnt as quick as some of you guys i have probably done only 50 laps of Suzuka in total..

this car is sure footed and very quick..

thankyou so much 888

darren

rock on man. I really found that the car holding the corners put me in the lead or the fight for the lead a few times. I had the pleasure of running it with a few GTP members while i was tuning.

Hi 888 Tuning. I registered here because of this thread.

I've just got into S class and frankly do not have a clue how to tune and in fact am just about ready to give up. I bought the the two tuned Lotus's to drive on pp630 or S1 but it's like driving on ice to me, the fun is seriously waning, lol.

I tried the F430 and got round and only managed 14th, I'm not looking to blow everyone out the water but just have a good race and hopefully pick up third.

I'm not sure if you want a challenge m8 but if you do I'm it! I use Auto gears and just want a car that won't spin out no matter what I try. I'd love to drive any of the Lotuses, I am sure I have a NSX as well so I'm open to suggestions of what car to try, and if you can help on the tuning front it would be most appreciated.

There is a NSX that i used for the S-1 and S-2 events posted in the events race thread.

Cheers 888Tuning. I managed to do the first pp630 track with a clio tuned, I managed to get some settings but the second pp630 on the Daytona Road is proving to be a nightmare for me, I changed some settings and even though it performs a little better I can't get on it. If possible could you do some settings for the clio tuned or if you think there is a better car then please do it for that instead. My problem is under braking. Thank you.

Thanks alot 888tuning,

I'm looking forward to the result :dopey:
But actually skip the Tuned version of the viper, i have raced some more with it and i just dont like the tuned version.
I'm going totally for the normal version now the Dodge Viper SRT10 coupé

888Tuning, ofspunk7 first off, i'd like to thank you guys for the time and effort spent for us tuning challenged. I'm quite the noob but i'm able to hold my own on the pro circuit, particularly the 750pp class. I wanted to be a little different (since everyone seems to be driving either a Ford GT, Amuse, or Corvette tuned ) so I've been using the clio sport tuned and have grown quite fond of it. Since i'm quite new to GT5, my setup is pretty simple:
Power: Max
Wt: Min.
Aero: 0 / 15
Rd ht: -10 / -10
Spring: 6 / 6
Damper: 5 / 5
Toe: -.10 / +.05
Steering: 40
Gear: stock

My goal is simple I would like the clio to handle like the Lotus 111R tuned (before the update) and I would like to be able to keep up with the Corvette tuned:ouch::ouch:. Please email or post the setup when you get the chance, I know you guys are quite busy with all our requests. I appreciate any help you guys can give. Thanx much!!👍👍👍

Vukmeister, i was online yesterday and saw 70% of the race was clio sport tuned :P but i know what you mean, so do i.
I dont like to drive in the so called "pack" cars you know.

I would love to quick tune my Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe for the High speed ring if you please.
I love this car and really want to get the best out of it :)

Hi Trazker,
This is a really tricky car to get right for the HSR, so I need to know what point class you intend on racing it in as this has a big impact on the settings chosen :) let me know !!

Vukmeister, PM sent.. hope this helps you out.. if you want some gears for this car, let me know !!: )

Thanks for looking into my favourite car 888, i would be very grateful if you could max this beast out for the 600PP on HSR ;)
But if you can't do anything special with 600PP please try the 750PP then, cause i have the feeling that 600PP is abit too low for the dodge...
And remember i ment Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe, so NOT the tuned one ;)

Thanks in advance,

Trazker

.. hope this helps you out.. if you want some gears for this car, let me know !!: )

Wow, .. THAT'S SERVICE!!! Thank you soo much 888!! As for the gears, I only race in Fuji and Suzuka. When you can, please email me the gears for those tracks.
I would also like to donate to your cause... can I buy you a redbull or something?

I dont like to drive in the so called "pack" cars you know.

I've only been online a few times. At first, I used Lotus 111R tuned or Ford GT LM spec ... both great cars but both easily pushed to the sand with just a little nudge. At best I place 3rd (then again i don't play dirty). IMO, the clio is much more stable and resilient to bumps compared to the other 2 i drove and proved to be quite a money-maker for me.:)

Yeah pretty much everyone in this game has his own car that you just know everything about.
Like how to take corners and how to get as much speed as possible out of straight parts. I mostly drive a Dodge Viper SRT10 non tuned, i just like this car and mostly i end up in the top 3 :dopey:

If you could 888 I'd like you to see if you can tune up a Mines R34 Skyline for the 750pp race at suzuka. And if possible maybe a good one for a car of your choosing for 600pp fugi/suzuka.

Thats the one Im looking at.. That car is aural bliss :) and sounds sooo much sweeter than the Tuned version.. but Im a sucker for old school muscle !

In 750pp its a little out of its league and becomes a bit wild if your not smooth, but you have those settings I sent through :) Will have a look at the PP600

Redbull is good, you can email it to me ;)

Please Please Please can I have a killer setup for my EVO X, the standard version for SUZUKA PP600.

I'd like it to have loads of grip and a good bit of power.

My tuning consists of, light as possible, R3 tyres front and rear and then use whats left of the points on horsepower. This setup is OK but it struggles with traction on bends.

Thanks.

:tup:888Tuning, I had the opportunity to try the tunes you sent me for the clio. Now, I don't know if it was a typo for the toe setting but you pm'd both - / - . Nevertheless, i tried it but just couldn't get the hang of it. However, when i changed the value to ' + ', it made all the difference! the clio now handles great! It sticks to the corners well and at suzuka, with a little throttle modulation, I'm now able to maintain 80mph + through the s curves. Very resistant to bumper attacks too! The only thing i couldn't figure out is the gear ratio for Fuji and Suzuka. Could you pls help me out on this? Thanks again 888 for yet another great tune.👍👍👍

Hey i was wondering if I could get some help for a tune for 600 pp suzuka with the 350 z gran turismo amuse. I cannot seem to get a hold of this car on this course and would gladly appreciate any help you could spare.

Hello 888 Tuning, back again for one of your great tunes! This time i would like one for the Mustang and the Clio tuned. Need both tuned for Suzuka 600pp racing. There is know rush for either car, just when you find some spare time! Thanks a bunch for the first tune, it was great!!

Hey guys,

Having a hectic weekend this weekend, but will jump onto these as soon as i get some time :)

For those of you who PM'd me or volunteered for the 888 showdown please post up in the Showdown race thread to let me know your still good if possible : )

Thanks guys.

Hey 888 i'm back to thank you for the wonderful setup you gave me for the Dodge SRT10, but now i've got a small problem :P
The SRT10 has too much performance points for a 600PP, so now I use the Dodge GTR for it, do you maybe have a good setup for it?
It's for the HSR again.

Thanks in advance,

Traz

No probs will have a look.. I have a pretty quick Clio in the works as we speak.. The mustang is a dog... lol Was the first car I bought in this game and sold it after 1 race so have not bothered to tune it, but lets see what we can come up with for you ;)

Hey guys,

18_115.jpg

I have had a few requests for this car and a stable but fast tune. Since I originally set this car up I have not had to change it as it just performs so well (for me anyway)

Please take this baby out for a spin in the Suzuka 750PP class and let me know how you go as this car has everything needed to dominate this categaory.
It needs a steady hand but will reward you with its pure speed !! :)

I gave you a full review didn't I? I can't remember, it doesn't matter  That was a great tune, which sparked me to make my Corvette better just to better match this GT in speed, and that I did.

REVIEW FORD GT LM SPEC II

Hello 888 and thanx for another great tune! This car is a blast, very well balanced and fast. I was sceptical about your ridehight and camber settings, but i understand it now :), topnotch 👍
Many of the numbers matched what i had before, but it really feels much better now!
The back still likes to overtake the front, but not too often

👍

10/ 10

how about a tune for the Clio racecar ( 600pp)? much appreciated : )

Hey 888, I've been noticing that more and more racers are requesting for the Clio tune. How about a TLD / 888 Clio shootout?

I like the idea of doing cars that people don't usually drive. That way we can take the non-GTP drivers online and give them a run for their money in a car that they would never dream of driving because they don't know how to tune.
