Hi Guerro,

The guys have hit the nail on the head.. The reason most of the guys here are chasing a tune is for online racing. i hope that what I provide can give you an advantage of the guy next to you on the start grid. For this reason I dont publish all my tunes to the free domain, which also protects against those who are just here to troll for setups :)

If there is something you need, just let me know.

Well, as a matter of fact, I was trying to find a F430 tune to help me get a gold in the A8 race. I have gotten it down to second place at 1.7 seconds behind the S8 and the other F430. They seem to get a tremendous lead.

um.... you cant tune for A-Class races!

Hrmm, well, on my version of GT5P, I can quicktune and set things up in race A8. The only things I cannot change are the tires and the aerodynamics. It limits me to 634. Its of no consequence now because I won the race after 3 or 4 tries right after I posted my last reply.

If he already completed a Class he can tune. Maybe he completed it with out getting gold in all races, and then trying to get gold now.

Hi 888 Tuning. Bit of a delayed response from me regarding my F430 and R8 tune's, Have just started using the F430 tune in the last few days on the suzuka 600pp. It still sticks very well with s2 tyres and is plenty fast with the added power. I will give the R8 a go later and report back, Keep up the good work. 👍

Hey guys,

I am just finishing off this car and will have the race tune published shortly. A few of the 888 regulars are already testing this and have given some feedback which we will check out and update this post when finalised....

Great Job 👍

I used yours set up last night on Fuji and won the only race I did with all GTP's members.... I just used my gearbox instead of yours.

Great handling... Thanks again 👍

Thanks for the feedback Wayne, I have your PM and will check out what you have done with the gears... if a change needs to be made to the tune I will get it done and published, as long as you dont mind me using those settings.

If it works well for you then please do 👍

Your settings for the Viper are really top notch, particularly the gearing which 1) enables almost 4wd style standing starts and 2) really helps to control the grip levels through the medium/high speed corners.

It's still a handful if your heavy on the gas on the corner exits, but overall, really well balanced.

Thanks for the feedback Sotty, great to hear... To all who are waiting on a tune at the moment, my ISP has been down for the past couple of days so I have not been able to tune any cars : ( and only check my messages from work. I have set aside a few hours tomorrow afternoon to nail out all the requests I have waiting.. thanks for being patient guys !!!

Hi 888tuning.

About the tune i requested for a Nissan GT-R 07 for the S10 event. I managed to beat the event with a Minis' skyline instead. so if you are busy dont worry about my tune. but thanks anyway :)

I also have to add that the Viper tune is so spot on, I have been representing it in the Viper cup, I love driving it, and the gearing made it even better. A big 👍 to 888!

Thanks to Wayne for the big tip on the gears. Some definite time to be made up there.

This is an excellent tune. Much better then the Swift Sport tune in my opinion.

The handling was very neutral. Not tight (understeer) like the Swift Sport tune. There was oversteer exiting the corners but that's because this is a powerful FR car and that is to be expected.

The brakes are phenomenal and the gearing always got me 1 or 2 positions on the standing starts

This car was so fast I was not only able to get to the front very quickly in the garage showdown but I was also able to get a considerable lead and keep it despite the rubberband physics.

This is a car I could drive in a 2 hour race and enjoy myself the entire time.

I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship between me and 888 Tuning

Such kind words Earth !! : ) Thank you very much, I spent quite a few hours trying to get this car handling just right, while still not as good as I would like the proof seems to be in the results so far... and nice work on the sig mate 👍👍

A big thanks to ALL the drivers who have put their hand up for 888 Tuning so far, it is really appreciated : )
Lets see if we can make it 2 out of 2 in the garage showdown.

We have some time before the next race so I am happy to do some more testing if you feel there is any areas that the car seems to be lacking in, just let me know and Im happy to distribute any changes to the drivers for testing.

You know it's funny, I feel the exact same way as my car.;) And I have also figured out that rubber band physcis are modified in 600 PP now, anyone else notice this? Even in 1st place you don't actually get slower, but the people behind still get ever so slightly faster. It's better this way, you'll never miss your braking points because of rubber banding.

They should skip rubberbanding alltogether, or make it optional (like GRID). It complicates testing your tunes in a 'live' online situation. The only accurate way of testing at this moment is a practice run.

Yes, I´ve noticed this... Less people can keep up with my f430... (kidding) :) But I think you are absolutely right.

Don't know exactly how this works but I am looking for a car/setup to help me conquor the S7 and S10 events. Already tried some but my mediocre (craplap champion) qualities leave me in the tail of the race all the time, or in the middle at best.
Best cars could be the tuned Renault, the Mines or the Amuse.
If tunes have already been given a referral would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Oh I agree, no boost at all would be the best.

But you're right. The people behind are being sped up, but the people in front aren't being slowed down like they used to or still are in 750 PP. This means that less people can keep up with your F430.;) It also means that once I've gotten in front of the other Vipers in mine, I stay in front.:mischievous: J/K I know some of you are faster drivers than I and you would catch up with a clean run of no traffic.

:grumpy: I want the old boost back!

*sonofabitch almost lapped me yesterday :banghead:

 Have you tried racing faster?:sly: I want no boost at all.

I've tried until my arms were literally hanging out of the sockets. My eyes don't shut properly anymore they've been staring at the screen for too long without blinking. I feel wierd now if I'm moving at less than 60mph minimum and I'm having nightmares where the back of Timppaq's F430 is disappearing into the distance with my house, my wife and my family tied to the back of it and I'm running after it, through treacle with flippers on.

There's only so many times I can handle getting my ass handed to me on a plate

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: ...the f430 handled surprisingly well under such a heavy (no offence) load on the back.. needed just a little bit of stiffening the rear springs.

 And what were you driving in said ass handing? (No pun intended)

I'd like to be able to say a suzuki swift but, unfortunately, it was the same car :ouch:

Well don't beat yourself up entirely, Timppaq is very good driver. Now I must stop spamming 888's thread and get outta here and go to bed.:sly:

With my setup on the F430, i din't even need to change anything besides the Power to +7 and the weight to it's minimum. I was also using S3 tires instead of R3, but i will use R3 for online, just not now i'm afraid so:sly:

It gets to about 194mph while streamlining opponents in the high speed ring. Has a very good brake balance too.

The Car which is impossible to drive is the GT40, i mean is it really a car or a drag racer. It's uncontrollable.
