We couldn't know it wouldn't work this time - it always worked until now, the invites never expired before. See, I can understand your frustration. But please believe me that I didn't restart the lobby in good faith. I'm not even driving myself, I wouldn't have cared about a few minutes more or less.

It's too bad you couldn't join in again. We always used to just restart the session, not sure why we didn't this time.
Anyway, I got pole at 1:09.4xx, 1 tenth ahead of Baumi. I beat him off the line and we were 1-2 to start the race. I pulled out a gap, so that he couldn't get DRS. By mid-race the gap was around 7~ seconds, but then, safety car! It bunched the field up, and I lost all my fast driving and wasted a lot of laps on mix 3. I got a good restart, and pulled out another gap for a while. I pit my second time, for primes, and Baumi was fighting for first with Bazylfox. They were very evenly matched and were slowing each other down quite a lot. Around lap 23ish Baumi somehow got spun around and lost his front wing, near the start of the backstraight! Crazy!
The race went on, and after my final pitstop Bazyl was right on my tail. I came out of the pits just barely ahead of him, with cold tires low on fuel. In that final stint, he tried to pass me with DRS on the backstraight. I used all my Kers and tried to defend fairly. At the braking zone he looked far enough back that I could take my normla line through the final chicane. It turned out that not only did he try to overtake me their, he even made it through the corner and was behind my back wheel. I have no idea how he made it through there but he did! Unfortuantely, my proximity arrows weren't being very helpful, so I took my normal line on the exit, thinking he was completely behind me. As it happens, his front tires were about equal to my back tires, and when I was exiting we both spun out. I didn't stop to let him repass because I thought it was an extremly dangerous situation to overtake there, and my proximity arrows didn't tell me he was there. I went on to win the race, which made the home crowd very happy, and 2 Canadians on the podium made them go crazy eh

Just curious: when the SC was out, you were following it and I could see a car being stuck on the back straight. Said car ruined your front wing. Was it the same for you or merely a display glitch? Just because your car continued to run just fine and normal.

My car? No I never even saw another car on the back straight, and I definately didn't lose my front wing because of it. They have a lot of display glitches online. On the back straight the safety car was a good distance in front of me, then it breifly glitched and was only about 2 feet in front of my car. I thought I was going to get DSQed!

Pawel - You should have asked Mr S for redoing the room. I think 5 min don't make a difference for all of us. I saw You disconnecting from and reconnecting 2-3 minutes later.

I spun in first corner and was 6s behind the pack. With SC on track i could catch cars infront.
About JCM situation (lap 28) - You will see on my video that from my view i was late on brakes before last chicane and clearely infront of You. After that i was on right side going straight and then i spun (i was not turning my wheel).
But no matter - it was great feeling that again i could finish on podium position
@Baumi - did i hit You or something? We're going very close for few laps and then i saw just before first DRS zone that You're miles behind !
Anyway - i hade great time racing again with You guys, thanks !
PS. I'll do short clip from last race hopefully today.

About JCM situation (lap 28) - You will see on my video that from my view i was late on brakes before last chicane and clearely infront of You. After that i was on right side going straight and then i spun (i was not turning my wheel).
But no matter - it was great feeling that again i could finish on podium position

When teammate Pawel disconnected; and then reconnected I told the room via mic that we should restart qualy as 5 minutes had not elapsed. Perhaps I was muted by everyone?
That re-start qualy provision is in the OP I recall.
Especially with a sparse grid, the more cars the merrier.
Next time let's make sure all available enter the race.

Start of race took it easy into turn one; sure enough Roder cam flying by and off; Bazylfox spun and I squeeked by; I may have led for a short time, but used rich fuel setting early and too long I guess
I was on old tyres and a leaned out engine so I could not hold off Bazylfox off near the end; ran out of fuel just before finish line. I had no major incidents; but one awesome fish tail once
Baumi had his problems (TV?) and despite Baumi's setting fastest laps could not over come the gap
Finished on the Podium in third 👍

Yeah I had some problems with my TV.
It started in lap 18 when bazyl hit me. My TV was just black so I had to go of the throttle.
In lap 19 it happend again, but this time for about half a minute, so my race was completely over.
I was 2-stoping so I could have won it.
I actually did 3 stops than to push the car for the last few last and still have a bit of fun.
I think I pulled out about 15 seconds in the end, cause I was already lapped.
It started in lap 18 when bazyl hit me. My TV was just black so I had to go of the throttle.
In lap 19 it happend again, but this time for about half a minute, so my race was completely over.
I was 2-stoping so I could have won it.
I actually did 3 stops than to push the car for the last few last and still have a bit of fun.
I think I pulled out about 15 seconds in the end, cause I was already lapped.

ehmmm ... yes, i mute everyone, i don't like noises while racing. Its very distracting for me.

No it just always happens when I start my PS3. I have to wait 5 minutes until I can see anything, but it normally does not happen when my PS3 is running for a while already.
