Well lets leave other experiences out of the picture for this series. I'll have the results up later. I also need someone who can keep track of the points and ballast by making tables. If anyone could help out with that please inform me!

Without Monza's race Sunday's GTS was a tie in points between iownall and aboe.
That double points race seemed to knock a lot of people out of contention...
 
Next round is worth double points as well. A good result will bump guys right back up there. Thats another reason I chose to make success ballast a part of the championship.

With what I've recently discovered, weather/rolling starts on any track, we will be changing the race start procedure!

FROM ROUND 4 ON- Starts will be done by the 'computer' settings of X2 ROLLING start. To prepare our cars in the right order for this start, we will do a 1-LAP qualifying position race. That is you will stay in your qualifying position for the 1-LAP race and cross the finish line in your qualifying position. The 'main race' will be done by the X2 ROLLING start with starting order based on previous results. This will ensure everyone is in the right order for the start of the 'main race'.

Is this a glitch or is there a option for it?
 
It's just a glitch. I only have to 'change track' to Daytona Oval while the games switching tire wear from "fast" to "normal" like we usually do after qualifying is over.

Idk how many laps there will be tonight but i just finished at 21 lap practice race at 2005 in preperation for tonight, hopefully it will be a full room. See ya then
 
Which track is it that we're racing at tonight? Post title says '2005', OP says '2009'...?

INTRODUCTION

Located in LeMans France, Circuit de la Sarthe is a semi-permanent race course most famous as the venue for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Reaching back to the 1920's the circuit has received many revisions, with the current version being introduced in 2002.

At 13.65 kilometers (8.5 miles) 'La Sarthe' is one of the longest tracks in the world. And features one of the longest straights. Though not as long as the original straight thanks to the chicanes added, there are still 5 sections of the track in which top gear is reached and speeds over 330kmh (205mph) are obtained. Special attention is needed at the porsche curves, ford chicanes at the end of the lap, and the esses at the first turn. Running wide will ruin your lap as there is little to no run off. Who will win on the 13+km classic circuit in LeMans France?

RACE DETAILS

Room open will be ~6:00pm Eastern time (U.S.). Qualifying will be ~20minutes in length and will start ~30 minutes after room open time (or until enough racers attend). Tire wear/fuel consumption will be on FAST setting only for qualifying. Race setting will be on Normal. You must start the race on the tire compound (soft or medium) you qualify with! Starts will be x2 rolling. First race is 1-lap to set grid in qualifying order. Then feature race will begin with the x2 rolling start used by the room settings. Be prepared to roll after the 3 second countdown!

TIRE USAGE

Circuit de le Sarthe's length proves difficult with tires, for this race tire usage is OPEN. This means that you must use BOTH COMPOUNDS tires equally through the race. That equals 15 laps MAX/MINIMUM. A minimum stint is required of 7 laps per stint/tire, no upper limit to amount of laps on specific tire as long as you meet minimum distance of 7 laps per stint.
