We had 5, actually 6 show up. But not all at once. Next week I hope to have 9+ like what Monday is suppose to be.

So who is actually able to race this coming Sunday? I hope we have a crowd. I'll be sending out messages on PSN to remind people the race is still on. If were not getting 7 or more racers joining, I'm going to put this series on hold until people actually are ready to commit to it and race instead of just signing up for it. If you can't race that's fine. If you can race and want to race, then please join in and confirming your interest.

It's usually me, Scanny, Zovo, Ferrari, ADR, FER and Shinshiki that show up regularly to the races. But not the same day! If we could get 3 more guys to start showing up regularly it would be great! Spread the word to your friends that you think would be interested.

Monday's are proving difficult for me Seth, I know I signed up for it but it's real late here (room opens at midnight), if i knew it would start on time I could just about fit it in but with the turn out issues (I completely agree with you about a minimum number before starting a race by the way) meaning it can be 1 hour+ before anything happens makes it impossible for me to compete unfortunately.

Another thing I would like to suggest to you is that you make it a single class series (either GT1 or GTS) as I think this would give you more of a chance of getting races going with the core turnout. For example, even if the magic number 7 do turn up, having all 7 in the same class is a lot more attractive than 4+3 or 5+2 etc. Once you have a wider base of participants you could look to introduce a second class for future seasons.

Completely up to you of course but thought I would give you my view 👍

I was actually thinking of that. If not enough of a certain class show up, everyone in their respective class chooses a car from the other class and we run with whatever has the most drivers. So if 4GTS class guys are in the room and only 2GT1 guys, then us GT1 guys use a GTS car of our choice. And the opposite with the GTS guys picking a GT1 car.

I'll be there today.
Just to be sure, I get a 15 KG penalty, so that's 965 KG, right? I believe it is, but just to be sure.

For tomorrow's race, if we have a limited # of racers for any respective class (less than 3) everyone will use the other class car. Your ballast will carry over to any class you choose. Just like last race I used the Zonda at Motegi, but ran 50kg of ballast.

still up in the air with work mate, hope to make it for monday's,

Would love to have you partake. I have a sweet setup for the Lamborghini if you want it. Definitely will let you lap faster.

I should join... but I'm already extremely busy with schoolwork and I'm enrolled in 2 different series (Esgaloth's WEC series and my All American Car Championship).
I would join, but I'm way too busy as it is.

I'm putting in my possible notice absence right now, so you don't have to worry when I don't show up:

I don't have the time for such a long race, I have some things to do today that are more important than Gran Turismo, and a 55 lap race is too long for me to fit in. I just simply don't have enough time in the day. Sorry Seth, I've been looking forward to this track & I hate to be one of those people who cancel at the last minute.

*If it does get postponed to next week, I'll be able to show up.

Something's come up for me too meaning wont be able to join until around 7:45, everything will be up and running so you'll see me online, just have to jump into room when I get back

Track-Details-Suzuka.png

INTRODUCTION

Designed as a Honda test track in 1962 by Dutchman John Hugenholtz, Suzuka is one of few circuits in the world to have a "figure 8" layout, with the back straight passing over the front section by means of an overpass. The circuit can be used in three configurations; the full circuit (which we will use), the "Suzuka East" and "Suzuka West" configuration.

The main straight measures 1.2km in length with 20 unique turns including the almost flat out, challenging 130R. Can you conquer Suzuka and stand on the podium in the land of the rising sun?

RACE DETAILS

Room will open at 2:00 pm eastern time, qualifying will begin within a half hour of room open (provided enough entries). Qualifying settings will run FUEL CONSUMPTION/TIRE WEAR on "fast" while the Race settings will be run on "normal".

TIRE USAGE

Suzuka, being the first 'endurance event' will have tire usage open. As long as 2 stints of each tire are used, with a minimum of 10 laps each stint.

ROOM #

1472-4711-0467-9862-1800

I need to work on my pit strategy. I seem to have bad luck either way. Today I had the first stall on pit road, so the pit dialog box didn't come on until my car was stopped. Then go through tire compound and fuel amount while my car is sitting there. Then I ran out of gas around lap 50. Then I had to park the car off track so I could answer the door. Not my day. I am very amazed my connection made 2 hours though.

Me too! I'm glad it did though, stayed working for you and Scanny through the whole race. It was too bad you had bad luck with the pits and personal reasons. I'll post the full results up later.

Tomorrow we will be at Motegi, I encourage you guys to show up. Since we canceled SSR5, all we have on the board is Fuji. Remember there is still openings for Sunday and Monday, so sign up if you want to join in!

Race tonight at Motegi. Please be on time, the room will open slightly early so everyone has the chance to get some practice in before we start the race procedures. Stay tuned...
