:dopey:

If for some reason Audi doesn't win they should still give them a trophy for "Most Laps Completed By a Safety Car At Le Mans"

Why do the gt3 cars have yellow lights

They're NOT GT3 Cars. They're GTE (Which is just the new name for GT2) cars. It's astonishing how many people are getting this wrong...

They have yellow lights to distinguish between the fast moving LMP cars and the slower GTE cars.

We've been updating the GT coverage in here...where you been
By the way, GT Pro. Ferrari has clearly the best machine but this year organizers limited thier potential way too much with a totally unfair BOP. They're forced to run with very light downforce because organizers reduce fuel size, so with the rain they have no grip. Not to mentions the air restrictor size allowed to Aston and Porsche. Last year Ferrari proved to be the most efficent car, but client teams are not like official teams, in Aston are tired to loose so they bitched about Ferrari efficency. This is not my opinion it's what an Autosprint journalist just said and I agree.

Seriously, again the SC splits the GTE-Pro battle, the 73 of Oli Gavin was catching Bruni and now they aren't even a second apart like they were pre-safety car.
Referring to the live streams and SpeedTV man. Don't take it personally! :sly:

I wasn't...

They should be GT3, they get the BOP right there, probably because they're used often enough.

#3 Audi in the garage

NONONONONONO

#3 in the garage!!! :(

It's apparently an extended pitstop rather than a serious repair. Lucas Di Grassi in the car.

The BOP is the biggest pile of bull I've ever heard. So Ferrari and Corvette were the two best cars at Le Mans in recent years in GTE-Pro. Aston Martin have a whine, and instead of being told to come back with a better car, they slap penalties on Ferrari and Corvette, pretty much crippling them and handing victory to Aston Martin?

Yeah...I just can't quite put my finger on why I dislike the FIA so much these days...:banghead: :banghead:

Much as I love Aston Martin and want them to win, this has tainted it somewhat. Corvette does not go from a GTE-Pro-winning car to an also-ran in one year, especially when they've been beating Ferraris and BMWs in the ALMS as usual.

Seriously, again the SC splits the GTE-Pro battle, the 73 of Oli Gavin was catching Bruni and now they aren't even a second apart like they were pre-safety car.

Why do they do this ridiculous safety car split thing? Why not just run three safety cars, then with one to go they peel off and let the field form up in one group? Cars should NOT be penalised for being in a good place when a safety car comes out.
