A new game update is coming 20.6.2018

I've been in game for half an hour so yes.
I'm still getting this

:odd::nervous::(

I had this too. I had to close the game and restart. Shame cause I won 2M doing the circuit experience mode while waiting for the servers to come back... and all lost now :(
Yeah I'm going to lose a few hours as well...oh well.

For the wheel spin - judge for yourself..

But more worrying. From free practice of first FIA race.. Have the red blocks been only in race or also free practise? This is ridiculous.

I love this lol, if your try to do it fairly but step the line you get at least 3 seconds. Cut it completly and nothing happens. lol

Regarding the standing start video - it was done on hard wheels with no TC, I assume?

I hate that right now I'm at the office and can't test it- but I gotta say, it does NOT seem the same as I remember experiencing it. Did you modulate the throttle input or just slammed the throttle all the way until the care regained traction?

I loaded the game when the servers were down and did an arcade race. The car ran with the default livery and the milage was added to yesterday's total. When I exited that screen I was logged in. I did another arcade race, this time with my livery and the milage for that race and the previous race were added to today's total.

Lucky you are ahah

Big updates always come in the end of month by the way. Should have seen of that. We might (or not) get something new there.

Oh, at least the ridiculous steering wheel bug is fixed anyway...

I am going to stick my neck out and say there will still be another update at the end of this month (may be next Wednesday or Friday) (the content update) because we always got the Circuit Experience added one month after a new track is added previously and we are due to get the one for Le Mans this month.

This update today is just to fix those 2 specific issues similar to the one in early June.

Actually, myself already aware of this. Just reminder for those who enthusiastic about new changes and content should have wait at least until the end of the month. Usually early to mid month updates is always bug fixes since the beginning. And, yes I believe we might get new Circuit Experience this month too since it is updated regularly.

Try more like 7 seconds if i recall..

I think slight modulation (comes as reaction - sorry :embarrassed:) and short shift in first one and slammed until 3rd the second time.

The limit of traction can be seen also elsewhere. I find it weird gr3 burns wheels all the way with RH where gr4 cant break traction on 2nd gear with same tires. Tried with Megane trophy this morning - like glued but crazy understeer at the same time. :ill: Completely separate values for lateral and fore traction which dont match?

Sorry, but who said it would have been there the new tire model in this update?
The new tire model we will have it, in all likelihood, with the July update because, from how I'm noticing, in addition to doing internal tests, they are also testing for these championships FiA.
What is the use of now, if it is not yet fully optimized?

Speaking to a guy who has done a few of these gt events he says they have had tweaks to tyre model in most but none ever came to the game so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

How so and which events? I follow a few top GTS players both on twitter and on youtube, and there was clear mention that in the GT World Tour in Nurburgring, there was a very different tire mode to what was in the game, so different that Kaz actually had to introduce and explain how it works before the event started - and they also had issues in the practice sessions.

I wonder why, on the website, my drivers' suit has been changed to all-white with Dutch flags, and why the picture I've used for my circular profile pic is removed? I haven't logged into the game itself since last night before the update began, so I wonder if it's just the network acting wonky, and if it's possibly related to the unanticipated extended maintenance? All my other stuff seems to be there, though, like garage photos, saved/shared liveries, my library - even my best qualifying times that I set last night.

I don't think I lost any cars, though - at least I certainly hope not.

Just logged onto the GT site myself and my drivers suit is showing the same, all-white and dutch flags..

EDIT - also showing the same all-white suit through the GTS Companion app (unofficial one)

Glad to see it's not just me, then.

Don't shoot the messenger, just passing on what i was told.
