A new update is coming 2018/09/26

The 300ZX in the update is literally from 1989

But like the 1989 Miata and the 1989 R32 GTR, the cars are more associated with the 1990s

If this guy was born in 1972 which is my generation, he lived thru it as a teenager so these were the kinds of cars he lusted after.

I disagree with him to some extent - to me the 1980s wasnt a good time for cars, the 1990s was almost a golden era.

Might just be me but I usually think of the R32 as an 80s car and so the NA Miata (Which should come back, it was really good).

Perhaps by the end of GTS' run PD would have got the car count up to 400 or so. Seems plausible since we're up to almost 250. If every month we receive another 9 cars or so...Kaz did say at one point "up to 500" Looks like they are attempting to bring back the GT6 premiums sprinkled with completely new content (the NSX Type R was only a standard so could be considered new)

And maybe by that time we'll even have more than a couple cars introduced since 2016...

I believe the Alpine A110 '17 is the only production/race car PD has put into GT Sport that is two years old or newer.

It´s free, so about the content i´m not complained, maybe my dream cars come in the future, Kaz say: in the future the game storaging 500 cars, in this moment the game have 255 the 50% of the future content.
Toyota GT-One, Pagani, XJ220 comes in one of this free update in the future, i wish

The other topic: what do you expect in the 1 year update?:P

This is true and sad at the same time :(

After the maintenance is over. :P
From personal experience, the update itself is available as soon as maintenance starts (the game will prevent you from launching mid-maintenance until you install the update).

Fair enough, I was thinking when it went live as in when it is playable. 👍

Finally... the trailer has arrived. Bless PD for making great sequence on every trailer... especially when I saw 996 GT3 I was thinking "mission accomplished!" :sly: After 17 years hidden under the GT3 data file, now it has been unleashed  Great day for GT fans indeed.

The soundtrack is lit too, wonder if they will put it for race music. Well... guess that wasn't really that necessary but this banging music is stuck in my head now.

We might not agree on when the safety car should come out but we do agree on this ;)

A premium quality R34 GT-R Pace Car, one that can be painted and liveried, oh my. If only we'd get the ability to control the warning lights while we are driving.

Could someone please tweet Kaz in japanese and ask him to add the function ingame?

I'm praying we get at the very least a Gr.3 370z before the year is out. And the Lancia Stratos. I cannot wait to make liveries for either of them.

Think the closest you’ll get is a Gr.X 370Z. (Chris Forsberg’s drift car. Personally I’d take his 280Z over the 370Z, but we only know that his Z34 has been scanned)

One of the pillars of car enthusiasm is how much more right about cars you are than the guy next to you, and how if you were the one choosing cars you'd do such a better job. But there's always someone, somewhere, more "cultured" than you and they will let you know that at every opportunity, its just the way car people are.

Yeah it's in the car guy's rule book along with the rule that every racingsim needs to be PC exclusive otherwise it's a console arcade game like Mario Kart

Calling the October patch that comes after this the Spec II.

Don't think we will get a Spec II update,i do think it's reasonable to expect the October update to be beefier or different because it's the one year anniversary of GTS.

Asking for more fictional tracks from GT history, especially after the outcry of a small real track count, is stupid. I don't understand the hypocrisy. One minute people want real tracks, then the next minute you want classic GT tracks? The game is sanctioned by the FIA, so don't expect Trial Mountain or Deep Forest to come back anytime soon. Fuji has it's place in this game, so enjoy it for what it is. After all, it's free!

One thing I love about livery editor. I can buy the Shallot Green NSX and just paint the wheels Championship white. Winning.
Loved this color since GT1.

I feel like the Australians here have the right attitude. Give us any track, real or fictional.. we just want something that is fun to drive until the next update. We would prefer more sporty type icons either road or GT3 type class but with 9 cars a month, we find a lot of use out of maybe half the cars so we can bear the occasional joke car.

The occasional VGT like the Audi is also cool... its sort of real world based and its not too 2049 Blade Runner.

People talk about the 125cc Kart but the only reason you'd buy it is if you inadvertently deleted the free one you got for sitting thru the Drivers' ED vidyas.

Obviously the same.

Though dully noted that you cant buy a kart on the brand central.

Okay, so basically it is in fact the same kart and thus being added to Store for those who want to get it back. Got it 👍
