@MTM79 - I'm sure we could make them go faster. Carrots! :D

Took the GNX out for a spin first, all off, ABS,TCS 1 - just a thrill-ride:

AI stayed close on my tail. So I thought . . . carrots? Slammed on SRF to see if they would take the bait:

They did. Stayed on my tail all the same.

I own too many cars and have too much CR, always hitting the 50K ceiling and the 500 cars' limit. That's getting really annoying. I wish I could give cars to friends like in GT5, instead of having to choose which one will end in the stockyard. :irked:

You have stock garage.. That is where I put my cars which i never drive these days.

I dont know which car i enjoy driving more. This one or the BMW concept. You have good tunes for both cars.
I shall add the BMW Concept to the list of cars on my thread. I did not test that one myself.

Amazingly the Infiniti Concept Vision Gran Turismo is great for this race. I dont know how it does it weighing in at 1680kg but most corners you can go full throttle. It just sticks to the road. Power limiter at 60.7% should get it to 500pp.

Now that we have an easy expert level seasonal.... What to do for a challenge? I say try and win with the ugliest paint job you can create. I'll go first. Look at my beautiful Toyota Sports 800 '65, with the matte yellow paint job, green chrome wheels, bright red fluorescence calipers and the fluorescence blue wing! :dopey:

My last play was racing at expert level FR seasonal at Willow Springs, driving my BMW 1 Series M coupe replica ( new build ) on CS with mere 466PP ( 330HP, 1600+kg, power drop due to dirty oil and yellow chassis ) managed to win by doing BTCC style battle against the leader ( C7 Stingray ), got the lead in lap 5 1st turn, but the crazy ass mofo C7 AI is within my tailpipe until the last turn to finish, he pulled several bumping move, tried to pit me from inside, and the last turn, he tried to ram from the side on exit. I failed several times battling in the last turn and came in 2nd, but the last one, I became aggressive and hold the inside, blocking his line, he got crazy swerving left and right like hyper dog, and I had to keep blocking till finish line

The BMW 1 Series M coupe replica did consistent low 1:30s lap, and will need to finish the race in less than 8:10s time :P It's a real driver test race, where smooth is quick and passing is tricky to pull, especially on the 5th to 2nd car ( in packs and passing on the high speed section before the last turn ) and the leader C7 which can only be passed by doing late braking pass on last lap 1st turn, Gan-san / Motoharu Kurosawa style from Best Motoring ( get into the inside of his door side and held it to pass as you exit, forcing him to go wide and back off ) :D If the driver missed this chance to pass, it will be near impossible to pass the leader as the rest of the lap, even if the BMW can get close on corner entry, on the high speed corners and exit, the C7 will simply pull away with sheer power even if the BMW can draft within a car length.

Just won using a BRZ. I haven't used that car in a about a year. It took two tries because the rabbit Viper ran me off the road going into the last turn. Next time around I held him off to win by 0.46 seconds. I don't have a lot of good Fr rides for this event I will definitely have to pick up some

What a welcome break from the madness of crazy AI drivers and sports tires.. I am having a ball driving the Toyota 86 GT '12. Running 1:19+ for best lap, and 1:20's very consistently.

I am not out to become a GT Academy driver candidate. While I appreciate the variety and challenges of the past several Expert races, it is just nice to sit back and drive, enjoy the race, tweak the car here and there, and not agonize over the crazy AI drivers, or the slippery-when-dry sports tires.. :dopey:

Any others having as much fun with other cars..?

:gtpflag:

Easy win for me using my Pontiac GTO 5.7 Coupe tuned to 489PP. Passed the leader (a Ferrari California) on the 4th lap and held him off for the win. The margin of victory was just 0.091 seconds.

after about 10 tries finally got the win with my purple chrome Daihatsu Midget.Everytime I caught up to the 1st place rabbit it would pit me into the wall or crash me out:banghead:
So I guess I got the odd car trifecta :dopey:
I won the beginners with the CITROEN 2CV TYPE A
I won the Intermediate Level 4WD Challenge with my Schwimmwagen
and this one with the Midget:D

Another run with 1M replica, this time with 135i version, at 335HP, 1611kg, 468PP, on CS tire, the 2nd car ( Alfa Romeo 8C this time ) was hot on my rear bumper to finish line, he tried to pit me several times on the last lap, talk about dirty Bob :P  He couldn't get closer on the first half of the last lap. Managed several 1:29s lap at Big Willow :D

Last lap, last half, the dirty Bob attacks :

And I went offroad and tried my best to get back on the tarmac to keep leading :

Another attempt to get me off the race, right before entering the last turn to finish :

This time, I managed to stay on the inside line and maintain the best possible speed to finish line with the crazy Bob hot on my tail.

Try using the old '89 MX5 and see what how the rabbits behave . Pushing me while on the straight cos my car not powerful enough (450pp with CS tires, used at Tsukuba before this). After 7 attempt avoid the push from side, win it at last. Haha.. Very challenging

I forgot about trying the Midget... Thanks for reminding me. I encourage all to try the Midget. It's a blast!

A little blocking is fair game when racing the underpowered Midget... Just make sure you don't tip over!

Cockpit race. No aids. Tune by me.Clean race. SLS AMG. Great race at the end of lap 4 when at the last corner before the start/finish line I gave the BMW M3 GTR racing room past him to the start/finish line and what does he do he rams me on the driver side door (back flag for him in the SCCA). Them at the end of the race he again bangs me to the start/finish line.
