I got to second with the Ford MK IV, 5 seconds behind the 2J. A better driver or a better tuner could do it. My fast lap was 2:00.xxx, it's going to take a string of 1:59's to get the win.

Here is my gold tune for this event.

Ferrari 330 P4 '67 (600PP RH)

1st with 2J in 9.59.xxx, second a 2J, 3rd another 2J.

1st with Ferrari 330 P4 '67 in 10.07.xxx, 2nd a Toyota 7 '70, 3rd another 2J.

They will block you everywhere so you have to choose your passing areas carefully. When you are catching them, they will accelerate to match your speed and make a pass more difficult. You can easily pass under braking, but your leading opponents will have a faster car(more PP's) and they will catch you back on the straights. The leader, once you pass will close in, but if you defend properly, he wont touch you. I hope this helps.

If anyone struggles by two 2J on lead, re-enter the race until the Auto Union and Ferrari P4 takes the lead instead.

3rd. 2J
4th 2D

Its not impossible. I came 2nd in the 2J and the lead 2J was literally in spitting distance.

My 2J was 200kg ballast with 50:50 80% power 547hp. 200mph 330km/h final gear.

I like this game I don't like racing online ..I have 567 cars 560hrs racing time in the game and plenty of cash so the only thing I have to look forward to now is when they put new games on, it's a bummer when Gran Turismo only leaves you only one car apparently will win ... you wait weeks now and end up with that.. I wish Gran Turismo 7 would come out

795 hours here, total distance 125.462,9 km (3x around the globe!) ~ 157,8 km/h average speed!

Hi everyone I'm new on this forum. I git a second with the Toyota 7 1 second behind 2d. Lol but when I went back a second time 12 seconds behind 2j. I just don't like the 2j. I refuse to buy 1.lol

Managed to get the win with a power limited 2J. Opponent 2J accidentally forgot to break in one of the corners and fell all the way down the corner. Toyota 7 was being blocked by the Alfa Romeo in last place.

You can load a few races to see what the competiton is like.

The hardest I've seen is 2 x 2Js, 2 x Toyota 7s and 2 x 2Ds (this sounds like nightmare fuel).

Weakest I've seen is the P4 330s and 2 x Auto Unions. If you cant do this one try the Ferrari Willow Springs challenge.

I chose the wimpy field, but the GT40 Race Car can most likely win against any field with a better driver than myself. This car/track combination hurts my mangled fingers and arms... So I won't be racing this seasonal much.

Also.... I hate it when I get a 3-5 second penalty for hitting the AI when they are the one bouncing off of the walls!
