sry, can't find this tune....EDIT3: Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Race Car '68 with max PP tune from @WhoosierGirl can beat everything apart from Toyota 7 and Chapparell 2J. Fairly cheap car; fully tuned will cost less than you earn from a 3rd place.
The XJ13 is possible and pretty fun in a non 2J field.
Anyone tried the GT40 MkIV? I didnt like the 4 spd box and it is $20 mil. to find out.
Hi,
sry, can't find this tune....
D.
this is curious.
.....Like I said, it's more of a chore than an actual fun thing to do.
If you want to talk chore, the time trials are more of a chore than anything else, especially the last set of time trials.
Just won with the XJ13 against a soft AI field with only 1 J2. Requires consistent lap times and using drafting to catch up on Conrod. When 2 J2's are in the field or a Toyota 7 they work together and it difficult to catch themThe XJ13 is possible and pretty fun in a non 2J field.

Try this tune, add supercharger and set power to 100% to get max 584 PP, and don't forget to adjust transmission final gear so that your top speed is around 200 mph.

I haven't tried the Auto Union yet but I always use this tune by @Lewis_Hamilton_ to tame it.Anyone have a setup for the Auto Union? I want to give that insane thing a go here.
OK, so I had a go in the 2J, just to see how it handled, and to my surprise it did quite well. Not as fun as Shaun's 330, but not nearly as bad as expected.
2 things:
1. The lead car MUST have N2O, and that's a crock of ****.
2. The lead car ramming me from the rear and giving me the penalty is a crock of ****, especially when I'm trying to get out of the way, but the car is coming up on me so fast that it's nearly impossible without wrecking.
I'm sure I could do better than 9:40 if I could get a field where I could get away from the lead car. I think I completed 3 races out of 50+ re-starts because of lead car issues.
5th lap - 1.51.512
Some love it, some hate it, but at this PP range, it's hard to beat the 2J. It has a great speed/dollar ratio at around 6 million.Hi,
after a lot of tries: it's easy to get first place with the camaro z28 race car - *behind* participating toyota 7 and 2J. They are miles away. I just have to wait for a race without them
A toyota 7 is in my garage, but I'm not able to tune it adequate.
Bye,
D.
OK, so this has become the worst race for me. If I pick a slow field I end up hitting lap traffic at the end and they screw everything up. If I get a fast field the lead car has N2O and either hounds me to the very end, or rams me off the course.
FY PD!
