I did it just in a Tesla Roadster sitting on 477pp! Great track, Great race (sorry for the low quality)
I know it's difficult to see but I won by 0.098s

Second run of the race, this time in the 474pp Mazda RX-500 with another win

I have now used 6 different MR cars. I've used '02 Lotus V8S, Mazda RX500, '96 Lotus Sport 190 (tune from @shaunm80 with trans tune by @praiano63), X-Bow AE edition, AE GT40 @500PP, and the '86 MR2 Superchager. All against the GT40 or the Zonda and with the GT40 and Zonda in the same race. Fastest lap times in the AE GT40 and the RX500. I have 2 NSXs that I haven't used yet. I don't have many MR cars because I don't really care for MR cars. Already back to 48+mil credits because I've run the Intermediate race with my beautiful '61 Jaguar E-type many times because I just love this car for it's looks and most likely one of the best exhaust sounds of any GT6 cars.

Note: Using @praiano63 gearbox guide I now have a 2nd gear that pulls almost like first, but haven't quite got 3rd nailed down yet. I posted about 2nd gear for the automatic users like me. All tunes are from @praiano63 and @shaunm80 but you must go to the Archives to find some of these tunes. They don't need to be tweaked either unless they are personally not working for you. If so use @Motor City Hami and/or @DolHaus tuning guides. Both are very good.

Was too easy for an Expert level, even with full weight 1500+kg Diablo GT replica ( real life gearing, weight distribution, and alignment with camber ), detuned power, on SH easily lap in 1:24s. Should be able to win even on CS. The leader of the pack was a Miura.

It's weird that PD called this expert level  I thought one of the older expert seasonals were harder.

I always do these events in "ascending" order, so this was done after the beginner and intermediate events. First time it's taken less than 3 races to destroy my resolve in finding a well matched car without PD's help. I jumped in the Citroen GT Road car and won the race without a second thought to times, difficulty or even what I was racing against. Shame, I love this circuit.

Does this track seem slick to anyone else? It's like some of the curves have got black ice on them. I've won using several cars with solid tunes, but they all feel very loose in the rear end. I guess the Rocket did the best. Huge payout though.

Won it twice back to back in my Lotus Esprit V8 '02. I ran it twice because the screen timed out before I could take a picture. I'll have to go search to find who's tune it is. Either @praiano63 or @shaunm80 a very easy win with lots of drifting and I don't know how to drift . I just grabbed the first mid engine car in my list. I love this track so after spending 5 mil on cars and paint chips i'll be back to 50 mil in no time. Nice variety of cars so far too. Track is slippery with SH tires I suppose that why I was drifting. Even spun in the first race and still won. No penalties either. EDIT: The tune is @praiano63 from pre 1.08. All I did was change some of the gears and the final drive. I wasn't getting a good enough pull from 2nd as I use automatic tranny.View attachment 308811

The esprit didn't do the job for me. I think I am not a drifter so I had to use the brake to much. Second place just behind the gt40 was my best with the lotus.. I used mr. P's tune with a little turbo.
I had more success with the rocket car on 500pp

I seriously enjoy this track and this event, after the easy win with the Enzo Ferrari I gave it a few other tries.

With the Ferrari GTO it was significantly harder than with the Enzo yesterday, took me 3 tries before I finished in 1st place. Then with the Ferrari 458 Italia the handling was easier than with the GTO, won it 1st time but did it a second time as well to improve on total time. Figured I gave the Cizeta V16T also a try but after 2 tries I ended up in second place. The handling was comparable to the GTO in difficulty, the straight line accelleration was great (same with the Ferrari's) but for some reason I was about 10 seconds slower than in the Ferrari's which nailed me.

All 3 cars had 580 pp and tuning settings just the basics. With the GTO I forgot to lower gears a bit, for the 458 and the Cizeta I think I put everything at default and then just lower max speed to I think 250 kph or something. I'm a bad driver in GT6 and I can't be bothered to go download other people's tunes to get better times or put some effort in tuning the cars properly because at this point it's actually proving to be a nice challenge with certain cars, and compare them with each other in this situation.

Will give it a few more goes with other cars tomorrow, easy credits to be earned and this track has some really fun cornering sections. :)

Great time with the Roadster - I can see you breaking sub-8:00:00. 👍

Well, there was a time, just a couple of months ago, that many players were finding most of the events too difficult - in fact it seemed like the Expert Level gold was out of reach for many players (think 'Holiday' Seasonals :D ) However - the payouts were very high. In fact there were prize cars offered, too.
Now that it's back to 'normal' the events might seem too easy. But the payouts and prizes are nominal, too.

I'm enjoying this event in a 500PP Miura for the moment - it's been a long time since I could have a valid excuse to throw the Miura through the hoops.
I want to bring it back completely to stock as I keep at this event - I have noticed that even the slightest modification to the Miura ruins its unique character.
As for the sound . . . OMG . . . I could listen to that joyful whoop all day long.

If it's not enough of a challenge for you fellas you could try it on C/H. I've not managed a win yet, but the million tries I've had with the Gixer up around 570pp have been a hell of a laugh! Third place my best so far....... but I will not give up, it's too much fun.

CHeers, Zo.

Is it just me ? I have the feeling to drive uphill all the time, like being trapped in a picture of M.C. Escher...

I like to run this event with 450pp cars... The elises are big fun!

Good Seasonal. I forgot how much fun this track can be, especially the reverse version. After many second place finishes with differing cars, I won it with the Zonda C12S 7.3.

Brewguy,

I love your colour combo!! Where can I get that colour???

Gonna try your tune(s) today,

Thanks Pete

Thanks, The color is GT6 Metallic 008 and the rims are Gold Chrome. Thats the colors for my Garage. Let me know how you like the tunes.

Messed around with 2 other cars, first the Ford GT '05 which is so far the most fun car I drove on this event for its excellent handling, I can really recommend this car if someone else wants to do the event multiple times in different cars. I improved body rigidity, changed oil, slapped a minor power upgrade on it (left column the last one) and then limited power to get back to 580 pp. I kept all tuning settings standard except gear box set to much lower gears than default (since the max speed I could get was around 220 kph on the long straight anyway).

For the second car I decided to revisit the Ferrari Enzo '02 since on the first attempt from a few days ago I didn't change the gears nor checked what time I got. This time I slapped the custom spoiler on it, rigidity improvement, oil change and then power limited to get 580pp. Used max downforce (70) and also very short gears. Now the funny thing is, on my 1st attempt I set the gears too low since I hit the limiter at around 210 kph on the long straight for quite a while, I ended the event at 7:39. I thought increasing gears a bit again would fasten my lap times but it didn't, after 3 attempts I just couldn't beat my initial 7:39 again. The screenshot is from that 3rd attempt with the short gears which is a lap where I didn't make too many severe mistakes so I'll just leave it at that for the Enzo.

From today's playing around, the Ferrari Enzo was faster but the Ford GT was the most fun. :) Tomorrow I'll try a few other cars, thinking about the Countach, the Rocket, the X-bow, the MP4-12C or maybe something different with lower pp that would be more of a challenge. I could always revisit the Cizeta as well since I'm sure I can win the event with it as well.

Ok, willdo, Do I have to buy a certain car to get that colour??
Cheers, Pete

I know my new Nardo will look fabulous in the colour!!

Well this one is a little strange...People complain about the easyness... Hmmm...Yesterday I took it on with all 580pp in my Lotus Esprit Sport 350... Winning was not the problem, but handling all 580pp in that car, with those tires was - "interesting"... Took some restarts because of wheelspin, but when I got a little hang on it, it was a tonne of fun, and winning wasn`t hard.

I think this one is easier if one go down on pp, like 500pp or something, and from the above posts I can see a lot of people do just that...I mean; Sport Hard tires on an MR at 580pp is quite a mouthful. - SO WHAT? I will do it again, in my Sport 350 Esprit. The challenge is to do it nicely, with no AI contact...Off to more fun...With max pp. 580 Brutal...

Yes I agree, I also noticed that a car with less HP is just easier to handle and feels less like you are ice skating. :) I think that's also why I liked the Ford GT '05 more than the Ferrari Enzo, it was just easier to control than that brute power of the Enzo. :) But going around the corners with screeching tires is something you get either way. :)

Yes I noticed that from grinding Trial Mountain quick race using Detuned cars like the ENZO and MP4 etc. They all handle totally differently detuned and are far easier to drive.

I ran a MP4 in this Autumn Ring at 530pp and the handling was far easier, and almost won.
580pp is almost too powerful for the corners although I won.

I forgot how much I liked this track in reverse, not since GT4 or GT5. It's even better in reverse. Won easily with My Zonda C12 '00, Total Lap Time was 7:41.050 with this tune.

Hello again Brewmeister, I tried your tune of the ZZII and it's pretty good. I took it to London for the seasonal. A couple of things seem to be missing from your tune, one being the brake balance, the other the front/rear proportional torque split.

I didn't need these for the tune anyway but it would be good for newbies.

Thanks again, I will save your tune and try it with sport soft next time at a higher speed track.

Sorry to nag, but I would like to know how to get that colour. What car shall I buy that has it in the colour menu Please.

Thanks again, Pete

You don't have to buy a car it's in the paint shop in the Metallic Paint category in the top red section.

Oh! OK, I was not aware that we could access any colour without first buying or winning a car with that colour?!?!

I would like to know how to get that colour.

It was the prize paint chip in this TT......
Subaru Impreza Super Lap
-Time Trial
This is a Time Trial Event using a car with fanatical fans all over the world; the Impreza 4WD sportscar(non-racing car). It´s up to the driver to chose between tuning overall performance of the car by reducing weight, or to increase power for the steep ascent in the latter half of the track. Road holding characteristics will also be important here, and we recommend tuning the suspension to match. There are numerous points on this track where the car can lose control, even rolling on its side in some cases. Drive with caution!

So unless you took gold in that event and won the chip you'll have to wait for it to repeat as a prize.

I'm back to 50 mil again. I have now won this with both of my NSX's, the Protoype LM I backed down to 500pp and it was still overkill, the 458, the MP4-12C and the '71 Dino 246. That's almost all the MR cars I have except the Mègane Trophy AE edition and the AE Stratos. I despise the Stratos I've driven it once and that was enough. It's also the only car I have in the stockyard so if it disappears good. So I'll do one more in the Mègane just for fun. I'll also take another picture. Then I am done with this event. I do have some other Ferrari's and Pagani's but they are extreme overkill. Autumn Ring in both directions have been one of my favorite tracks since the early GT days.

Then I'm going back to the Intermediate because I have a lot to choose from for that race. I don't care about the credits in that one I just like the fact that I can use many of my favorite cars and Silverstone is one of those tracks that I didn't know that well but I have run it enough times if PD decides to use it again I'll be ready.

Edit: It won't let me us the AE Mègane Trophy I'm guessing it's considered a race car. Not going to buy another car. So oh well.

Kind of thought this would be the grinder for the group, but no. This one gets old quick, chase down the GT40 or the Zonda, lean on them a little bit to make it fun. Oh what the heck, beat them into the gravel. I bore easily & this one doesn't seem to be much fun. 580PP is just overkill, just seems like they are trying to bait you into using way too much power. This should have been a 550PP race & probably less...
