The Mazda 787B Stealth Model can beat A. David. Just be warned it has no top end because it was ran at 50% power limiter with 53 kg ballast weight added. As seen in the picture below, I had to do some blocking to hold off Mr. A. David!

...my Lexus beats all the cars in the yard....

OK so it wasn't the fastest lap 6.44 but it was nail biting..love the Lexus SC 430 06..... 5th gear was set too low with top speed maxing at 285 but it worked out well... im finding that no matter whose on the roster once you take the lead second will stick on your tail ... c (athy) Freeman was not letting go ... lucky I had the racing line going into the last set of corners...

It took me 6 attempts of 3rd and 2nd places with other cars other than the 2J. I jumped in the 2J, A. David was not in the race and I won by 1.787 against the McLaren F1. That's it for me. I like the Ring but the Ring doesn't like me. I know I have driven thousands of miles on this track and can run sub 7 minute laps but not with AI that block your every move or spin out in front of you and there's nowhere to go. If PD had given us 2 laps it would be a more enjoyable race for me, but it's getting by 10 roadblocks and then a rubber banding leader that just loves to try and destroy your car so you can't beat him. For me it was almost impossible to stay on the narrow track when overtaking. That leads me to frustration and I play for relaxation and fun not frustration as I have enough of that in real life. Yes even for a minister like me.

Haha! How did it go in the Delta Rally Car?

I won several times in the Delta S4 Rally Car '85, but I'm not happy with my performance/setup/times. I wanted to have total times around 7:10 or better, but that little car is tricky to control. I "tried" to take out my frustrations with the Delta Rally Car on the Lambo driver, but he made a miracle save!

You raced against Bill Murray? Cool! 👍

Edit: Oops! Sorry about the double post... :embarrassed:

Not complaining, but I think we had this exact same Seasonal last year. Guess I'll try it with something other than the Honda HSV 15th Anniverisary car. :)

I never would have thought that I could beat my toaster time with the TS030, but I did, 6:52.

I need a different trans tune probably, I need to be in the 6:45 range for sure.

It was in October, but that one was harder.

Used my goto car, the 2J with Praiano tune (removed ballast and set power to 57.7%). Smoked the McLaren F1 rabbit on first try by 2.35 seconds, but it wasn't that close as I passed him right after the toilet bowl. Lap time of 7.03.

The 2J is almost a cheat car. It'll beat any car with the same PP every time. So I'll try some other cars. I really like the Burg at 600pp. It's my favorite track and 600pp is just the right amount of power to avoid big wrecks. This will be fun to try and win with other cars.

PS: I was really hoping they'd add another endurance race like the Daytona 24 minute race that we got a few weeks ago. I probably spent 20 hours on that race and didn't get tired of it because it was very close to a true "expert level" race.

I thought the same thing, but it turned out to be incorrect for this track. I too used the 2J with a Praiano tune for a 7:01, but ran a 6:52 in the TS030, and it still needs some tweaks. Easy 6:45 car here with a perfect tune and a decent clean run. Not sure about what the aliens could run with it, maybe 6:35?

So for actual lap time (not total) I put down a 6:35.xxx with the Chaparral 2D and I'm 5 seconds behind the Ford GT LM Spec II. Get annoyed take out the Mazda LM55, put down a 6:41.xxx and I'm 3 seconds ahead of the Ford GT LM Spec II. I don't get it both cars are at 600pp and the Ford just magically slows down...

I used the TS030 and barely beat A. David by 0.1xx seconds with a total time of 6:58.6xx. I was ahead by over 2 seconds at the first timing line on the long straight but he was pounding my rear at the end of the straight. I then viewed the replay. He started 2nd behind the Corvette and finally passed it at the 3:02 mark of the race. On the long straight I topped out at 180 mph but he was able to do 202 mph to catch me. Talk about a very strong rubber band!

Exactly. Job well done. 👍

Seems all the time to be lost is in the beginning, and all the time to be made is when you're practically all by yourself in the middle, then after the Karussell the hunt for the last two is on. The Pflanzgarten. The Döttinger Höhe straight. Heart pumping. Feels so good.

(Trying to learn these names.)
