By far the hardest GT6 Seasonal yet. Harder than any of the expert races either.

Finally won it using Praianio's Mazda RX500. The LFA Nurgburgring was the rabbit which didn't make it easier. The only change I made to the tune (keep in mind I have no idea how to tune) was lowering the final tyranny gear to 3.320 since you don't need top speed here. Even at this setting I never came close to red-lining the last gear so you could raise it further than I did.

It was to finally run a tough race. I hope they bring us more of these, just not using city tracks:-)

Hope this helps and have a great weekend everyone!

FINALLY! I've been struggling with this one since day 1, and finally got gold. I decided to go with the X-Bow Street '12, witch I hadn't used for months, using an old setup. Could only get silver, with the best of finishing 0,6xx seconds after the Scuderia '07. I got desperate in finding some front wheel traction in the long curves, and then I realize that I had zero camber (yes, that makes it an OLD setup). Added 0.2 degrees to the front tires, and on the next attempt I passed that damn Scuderia in the long right-hander just before the second split time. Won with 0,8xx seconds.
Only aid was ABS 1. Driving manual of course.

It's been really fun, and quite profitable, but I can finally leave it.
Good luck to those that haven't done it yet.

For anyone struggling, even with DS3 this will work!!!!

Really struggled to get better than 2nd with Subaru Sti 22 and Rocket. Fully tuned a Mini Cooper S '11 and got gold eventually by selecting the opponents and driving like a mad man possessed.

Tough race, especially for Intermediate level.

For anyone who is struggling to get this or needing to use aids. The Ferrari 458 tune below works a charm with ABS and TCS 1 only.

As usual for you excellent tune.👍
Lead was obtained at the end of lap 4 against the Buick Special.:D
Kudos to you!

I'm n't understand why this event is considered hard.

The GSX-R will run 51s laps (using the DS3)... 1 attempt, 1st place by the middle of lap 4.

I agree. I used the GSX-R also just to quickly get the Gold and like you, 1st attempt winning easily. I was even bouncing off the rev limiter slightly passed halfway of the front stretch  because I forgot to adjust the transmission :dunce: from the last time I used the car.

Same here. 57s just wouldn't do it in the Toyota new 86.
To the guy claiming the gsxr4 is overrated: What else will lap with it for a given pp? I haven't found anything.
The XBow is pretty close to the gsx. The 15th AE version is great at 550 Pp as the black orange one at 500.

It seems we need to average 57.4 laps to win this. Or gain 8 secs a lap, the rabbit has a huge 40 sec lead to start. So should be around +32 secs and in 10th place first lap, and so on.

You can catch a break if the Buick Special is on pole, the AI driver P.Fletcher is your friend as he holds up the Gallardo and LFA. If the Gallardo gets past then he scoots off and you need another 5 secs.

I'm stubbornly trying to do it in an R8 with gearing adjustments, but reading these posts makes me realise I really should be using a lighter car...

Haven't had chance to try this one yet, will do later today. It seems that there are mixed descriptions on here so far about the difficulty. Is it that there are some new faces around? I don't recognise as many of the names in this thread as names that I've seen in the previous seasonal threads. I'm not an expert who gets high up in any of the seasonal rankings but so far I've always managed quick golds, these days it's often at the first attempt. If it is the case that new people have found these threads I'd be happy to post more often with the cars & tunes I've used if that's going to help anybody.

Tried a multitude of 500PP-ish cars starting with the Scooby Nurb TT car - just couldn't get consistent enough. A Ferrari would be overkill and a last resort of a **** driver he he - I just seem to get the Fezzers in the lineup every time - and the Buick Special! Tried With an RX7 and got damn close but overcooked it and lost precious time on the last 2 laps and never quite pulled it out of the bag...Next stop S2000 I think - if that isn't the tool then I evidently am. :gtpflag:

I've only tried the beginner event today because I was delayed in getting to a PS3 & was drunk by then. If you do get stuck & don't manage it with your cars of choice then the suzuki GSX-R should be the easiest other option at 500pp as many people will have already said. (I've just done the beginner event in an MR2 but there are much easier ways for that too at 450pp)

so glad i came across this tune, conquered the london event eventually lol, cheers bro good quality tune.

Any tune info on the EVO 190?
thanks!
A pretty decent challenge for an intermediat race. Starting 40 seconds behind on a track that takes 56 seconds to go around means you have to be all out and near perfect. I used my 190E Evolution II road car, installed parts to get it to 495pp and lowered it a bit and stiffened the springs. That's it. It was my RWD car for the last Expert Seasonal as well. Really growing to like that car.

A tip if you are frustrated with the AI, leave the driving line on. Not for you, but to tell you where they will slam their brakes. If it's red, expect them to jam the brakes like a deer ran out. I had to do that on the Sierra Time Rally too. I kept rear ending guys who slowed down too much. I was trying to time the pass and they come to a stop on the apex. WHAM
Anything?

I used an M3 GTR that I limited to 500pp. I raced it 2 times and barely lost the first time by a second but I put it into the wall on that sharp corner right after the start finish line on the 4th lap and had to use reverse. At that point I was in 3rd about to pick up 2nd. Caught the 2nd place car and just couldn't catch the leader unless I had a couple more corners. Tried it again after that and beat it. Once you pass the 1st place car you cannot walk away from him. He will be right behind you until the finish.

I do not like the London course! I've managed to finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 2nd. Damn rabbits! LOL

I won this first time out with my Z4M Coupe. Had only 486pp, but I decided to throw the SS tires on it. Passed the leading Gallardo before the last corner. Could have been a cleaner run, but I just got the gold and got out. This race is only hard because of the circuit. It's almost impossible to get any kind of rhythm going around London!

I used an Imprezza and got 2nd so I think I'll do some tweaking to my tune and see if I can sneak into 1st.

I was going to skip this event but glad I didn't. Bought an Evora and tried to get gold on SH tyres. Didn't think it would be too difficult as I finished with silver on first attempt but about 15 laps later I couldn't get closer than .4 behind the Scuderia.

In the end, I put on mediums and took off some parts to make 485pp. That too took more winning than anticipated but got gold eventually. As someone mentioned above, the AI is good in this race, it was nice to drive a great new car and the track was a lot more fun than I remembered from GT5.

Went for another Elise, this time the Sport 190. Did it first time, after a sighter lap to check the set up. It was fun, overtook in ever corner and got the lead half way round the last lap.

Ran this again (using DS3) with the BGT, RGT, CSL and NSX Concept tonight.

Never used to like London reverse as much as forward, but really like it now :)

This isn't London Reverse. It's regular London.

I found the Fitt tuning Sti vs Evo from a while back. Tested 15 diff sti's and evo's mixing and matching tunes, just about all were capable of :55.xxx laps on SS tires with minor adjustments for track. I enjoyed this one a lot. Some awesome tuners on this gtplanet
