I hated London until this seasonal, I tried using a 97 civic type r at 460 pp but no luck, I finished a full 3 seconds behind the lead 430 scuderia. It's not the lap times that get me it's the traffic, I can only get one or two laps in the 56s range where I'm not fighting with the AI.

London is such a fun track, really wish they would do another TT there.

As I sat here and watched this, I got this weird vision of about 5-6 kids rolling around the back amongst soccer balls and uniforms screaming their heads off for you to slow down.:lol::lol: At the end, they all come stumbling out, hair askew, clothes disheveled, looking oh so confused as to what in the hell just happened.:lol::lol: Anyways, good job with the race. 👍

Got gold with a fully tuned Miata with Special as rabbit and the GSX with Scuderia rabbit. Don't have the chops to use a mini van though. ;)

By far the most difficult of the 3. I used my trusty BMW M3:D
That e92 will go down in the history books as one of the most epic sports cars of all time. I'm not saying the F80 is bad, quite the opposite, its an awesome looking car, and the engine is just staggering, but it lacks the special feel that the e92 had, the only car that comes close is the e30:)

I'm glad to see you rocking away with a pinky van but I'm depressed myself seeing myself not able to beat it with a sport car... :(

Pinkygirl, it would be funny if someone driving a super car trying to impress people and then you just hammer away with the pinky van right next to it. I'm talking about real life situation haha.

I've been working on this event slowly and finding a stock BTR my choice of car, though the best I've finished is 2nd. I had an "a-ha" moment when I realized that fitting the front tires one compound harder helps calm the snap oversteer on the RUFs. I guess I borrowed that idea from the default GTO setup in the expert Sierra rally.

That sounds like a horrible idea! What you want to do is to install a suspension kit and LSD:
• Camber: 0.0/0.0
• Toe: 0.00/+0.40
• LSD Initial: 35
• LSD accel.: 15
• LSD deaccel.: 40

That is a super safe setup, try it out and get back to me how it felt;)

Wow! Fastest MPV in London..... eats LFA, lambo and Ferrari for lunch....

Driven by a lady who shatters boy racer dreams and ego. Nice.

Redid this race in stock GSX with SS tires. Many times easier than RX 8.

This seasonal event is seriously really hard, and frustrating me so much I created a username to get some input.

I have tried many cars, including an R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nur, and cannot get any closer than half a lap behind second place.

I can get gold on any other seasonal challenge, except for this one. Can anyone suggest a car and/or tune?

This event can be tricky, but it seems one way is to pick your race.
If you see the special as lead AI car take that race, this car will hold up the opposition for you, it is very fast in a straight line but hopeless round corners.

Nice work there WhoosierGirl...But...Don`t You ever get tired of PINK :yuck: ??? I mean, I`m a boy (48yo but still a boy), but this doesn`t mean that aaaaaalllll my cars are light blue....Think I have 1 light blue car (RUF RGT), all other cars are - colored. - In different colors...:D - Hey waitaminute...I have 2 more light blue one`s - jaguar XKR and a Mustang Boss or what it`s called...Think I`ll repaint the RUF at least...

Finally managed to get gold using the NSX R...went through many cars and configurations before deciding to try one of the cars recommended here. Previously only got close with the Rocket.

Won this event with the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A tuned to 498pp. Managed to overtake the leading Lamborghini Gallardo on the last lap.

Suzuki GSR4X motorbike car.
That is by far the fastest car around at that PP.
If you find it tough, turn SRF on. Not saying you should but if nothing else works, turn SRF, driving line plus Active steering on.
Redo till you get the weakest lineup. I think Special is one of the weaker rabbit.
Check out skearacing and whoosiergirl lines and left foot braking.
For winning every rabbit 55s or better lap time on 2nd lap onwards needed. For slower rabbits i heard rumours 57s lap suffice.
I bet you can win it as that is way way easier than Ring expert seasonal....
Doable but tough to win on GTR. Did it on lighthened RX 8 as well.

Same here! I've managed to get 2nd place 4 or 5 times and I'm always at least 3 to 5 seconds from the 1st place car coming to the finish line. I'm using a Ferrari 458 slightly tuned. I think I'm blowing it on the corner turns. I seem to lose time on some of the turns. If I can nail the turns without slowing much I may be able to get 1st.

Have you tried using the Lotus Elise 111R? I'm not a spectacular driver and I was able to win Gold repeatedly with similar cars following a similar formula -- keep as much weight off as possible. The Lotus is so light, with further weight reductions, that you can literally just throw the thing around corners and it has plenty of power to get around the exotics driven by the A.I. Give it a shot if you haven't.

I think the 458 has too much weight and more power than needed on this type of track. If you were starting from a standing grid, no problem, but you're playing catch-up on AI that is half a lap ahead of you by time you cross the starting line.

This is the first intermediate event I cannot gold lol. Gonna give Elise 111R a try.

The Lotus Elise 111R was my first choice for this event.👍

Other cars that I've used:

Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A '02
Shelby Series One SuperCharged '03
BMW M3 GTR '03

Good luck!

No I haven't but I'll give it a go! Thanks!

Entered this one at the last moment. Once my Diablo had the right settings, I won by a second against LFA NP. Also featuring Buick. They were not stopping for tea with me over the finish line at 5:24.583.

first time i tried i used a stock aventerdor and finsihed 2nd 1.4 second behind the buick, then tried with my ZZII with just over 300bhp(to meet 500PP) and won by 1.9 seconds from a F430 SC
