Decent races this week. Intermediate race was kinda unremarkable though.

For the Expert race, I used this tune from TUNERXANDE1959 for the McLaren F1, but installed the best of all parts so the power figures are higher than what the tune calls for and also adjusted to fit the regulations, but the rest of the settings are the same.

I was making pretty good time around the track and managed to catch up with the leading Huarya. I was expecting a good battle to the finish, but in the first corner, he's too late on the brakes and nosedives right into the barrier. So much for a climactic battle.

Please take note the stiffness of the springs in this tune. This car can turn pretty sharply, but mind the curbs along the track. I had to restart the race a couple of times because I was pushing the car too hard, nicked the curb too far and wound up rolling the car. So, be sure to slow yourself adequately if you hit the curbs.

For the beginner race, I used a 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with this tune from @Leonidae@MFT, one half of the legendary Mad Finn Tuners duo. This will keep the race pretty interesting and it's a pretty fun car to drive too.

Good luck everyone!

Ha, expert was easy peasy.
I have had enough from Polyphony always putting the Huayra as leader, so a few weeks back i bought both the huayra's
First i selected the nissan 2020 VGT, i see the huayra '11 as leader........💡 PING!!
Back to my garage, picked the huayra '11
Already put on a wing and bought all max tuning parts

My simple settings:
-Oil change? can't remember, anyway i got a perfect 650pp with my settings.
-Soft suspension, stock settings.
-Brake kit both to 7-7
-Gearbox stock settings maxspeed 400kmh( just bought it and changed nothing)
-LSD
--8
--30
--40
-Triple clutch
-Power, only race exhaust
-All weight reductions
-Wing downforce, stock setting.

Traction on 3
ABS on 2
Sliprecovery on
DS3 sense on 5
I got 1st at the beginning of lap 4 and kept easy 1st place the rest of the race.

And i made lots and lots of mistakes.
O, i did not get any penalty for hitting walls.
So yeah, easy peasy

pro drivers should get 1st at lap 3.( i think)

Once again, way too easy. At some point, it would be nice to make it more challenging with a decent car as a reward. The silly paint rewards are useless to me. I don't know how many others feel the same about paint, but this is a racing game not a car show

I must agree, the only race that was interesting was the beginner on Twin Motegi west because i took a aventador.
reduced power to 53% and the leader was a ruf.
I got him just after the second long straight in the corner and 10 seconds left from the time limit.
It was easy.

Strange thing at beginners.Time starts running at 2:40 countdown, and i past finish 10 seconds after, but the game states i took 3:12??? theoretical it should be 2:50...

Trial mountain i did with the NSX-R Prototype LM road car that was used in the matterhorn hotlap.
Just reduce power and go. 1st in lap 2 ?? come on!!!

By far the easyest expert race so far.

Beginner: Corvette ZR1 (stock)
Inter: Subaru S206 NBR 12 (no tune, just power parts)
Expert: Aventador LP700 (no tune, just power parts)

Considering the time i think the Beginner race is producing best CR/min of the three.

I just got home from closing down the bar and I'm wondering if I should fire up the PS3 or wait until I get a little sleep. It's nice to see much different courses chosen for the Seasonal Events rather than the usual suspects. When I'm tuning or testing I almost never pick city courses, so hopefully the Expert Level Event will be a bit of a challenge. We shall soon see...

Stopped, had a coffee at Shibuya. Ended up buying a new USB stick and chatting to the electronics guy about Tesla and Edison. Then I remembered I was in the middle of an expert race. Hopped back in my car, checked my mirrors, noticed my reflection, thought about the benefits of regular shaving over stubble and whether to change my razor or not.

Decided to try a new brand of shaving cream as well as I crossed the line for the win.

To make everything easier just use the 600pp NSX-R LM Road Car tune from priano(credits to him) and just put the limiter on 100%.

I took the first car down ending of 4th lap. When entering 3rd long turn go on third gear but do not use to much gas but you may use a lot but not through the whole way.

Try to stay around the gears around 2-4 and then at the long run you can go up to 6th.

Brake late entering first corner with 2nd gear then burst gas when exiting the corner, same thing with the second turn brake a little late in 2nd gear and burat gas then dont shift to 3rd until you fully exit the turn.

Breaking late and exiting hard is key here just make sure your opponent at all times outside of your car when taking a corner.

Ex. When you are entering left corner u should be on left and opponent in right, when you are entering right turn your opponent should be on left. This should help you overtake hard and get their position.

Note: With priano's tune I was able to win in first try and I am not a great driver so you guys will most likely win.

I hope this works guys! Good Luck!

I try to beat this race with my 608 pp Aston v10 vantage and It doesn't matter how hard I tried I keep been 3rd. So I might try my 596 pp KTM x bow because that thing is a beast around corners or a zzII

I won all races from 1st try easily.
Cars i used:
Race 1: BMW M4
Race 2: 458 italia fully detuned
Race 3: 458 italia fully tuned

This is good news for me at least, i have started a new playtrough (What? Yes, for the third time... Are you insane? Most likely... You need to get a life, no i don't want a life, i just want my PS3 and Gran Turismo 6 and i'll be fine. This was just me talking to myself. ;))
so i don't have money for a racecar or supercar yet, it looks like i can win these races with my Renault Sport Mégane R.S Trophy and Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.

Admittedly, all the races in this set of seasonals are very easy. But, I will say that I personally has an absolute ball with all of them! Great tracks, with good pp and tyres that actually hold, driving, not skateing. Thanks PD, another great seasonal set. Expert race in Tokyo, I got to play with my one-77, man that things a weapon. At 645pp, its 1160 something hp and although its better with race tyres, the ss can handle it, if only just. Love driving it, just so fast. Without pushing hard at all, it won in 9 min flat. Makes the opposition look static. Trial mountain was another charity for the Masseratti, yet another beast for its pp and the twin rings belong to the golf v1r. Anyway, enjoy, there's no stress there and thanks PD for serving up some more good stuff.

Used my 645pp Acr Viper. Did the job 1st attempt.
No collisions or hitting walls over took the f1 on the main straight cruised to victory.
Great can when fully tuned.

Aston Vision car routine win, that is now my goto 625+ pp car, and what happened with the AI? Looks like they have dialled it back to moving pylons with a rabbit, I didn't see any funny stuff going on.

👍 Just want to say that you are doing a great job, nabor .

Cleared all the races. I used a Savanna GT-X RX7, ZZ-S, FXX. Last race pretty easy with the Fxx.
Beginner's race with the stock Savanna is fun, if you want some challenge ;)

Expert with Muira at 543 PP stock all except PP and SS tires .Huarya rabbit , the lower PP made it a closer race.
Nissan Concept VGT, MB AMG VGT, very smooth drive, all stock

They should really make the expert races more difficult, good old Nordschleife days.

My 7 year old did all three - gold.

First with a Cebera Speed 6, second with a Ford GT II, last one with the Huarya '13.

I did all three afterwards with a LCC Rocket. Overtook the Huarya on the Expert run halfway through the last lap.

Well, now waiting for the next seasonals...

You guys made it sound so easy. I went in with a ZR1 and was a distant third.... twice... the first and second was 10 to 20seconds away. Damn... time to tune and try other cars...

I have money issues (meaning I only have enough to purpose-build one normal car at a time without grinding too much) and I'm trying to beat the Expert race with a C7 Corvette. I have it set to 650pp on the dot, fully lightened and flat-floored.

I can't get it to corner well. It is just too powerful to handle mid turn and pushes into a wall if I hit X. I have yet to place higher than 5th, smacking literally every wall every lap. Besides intentionally trying to granny it, am I just using the wrong car?

With how easy the Beginner and Intermediate were, I'm thinking I might grind for a Pagani as much as I hate grinding.

For the Intermediate race, I used a Ford GT '06 for the win.

The AI has a strong rubber-band in this race.

The main competition was a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, and when I passed him at the beginning of lap # 3, he attached the rubber-band to my car and he wouldn't let go.:nervous::D

The Ferrari's lap times were:

Lap one: 1:51.5
Lap two: 1:49.7
Lap three: 1:31.0
Lap four: 1:32.6
Lap five: 1:31.5

As you can see, the Ferrari's lap times markedly improved when attached to the rear-bumper of my Ford GT.;):D
I was running 1:30.xxx laps most of the race, and won by four seconds.

This race will likely be easy to win with a slower car because the AI car's seem to drive very slowly until you catch them.

The third place car was a Lambo Gallardo LP560-4, and his lap times show a similar pattern before he was left in my dust:

Lap one: 1:52.6
Lap two: 1:46.8
Lap three: 1:30.6
Lap four: 1:42.7
Lap five: 1:43.5

See you on the tracks!

Hi all.. I just completed the latest seasonals and I dig all 3 circuits chosen this fortnight.
Normally, i silently tolerate the 30 or 40 customary "the seasonals are too easy/too slow/silly a.i " themed posts. But not today.
As always, if you are competing with cars anywhere near the maximum allowable PP, the beginner and inter races aren't challenging.
As always, copying a highly refined, published tune to a super-competitive car with the softest allowed tyre choice will make the expert race a breeze.
I'm not saying employing these methods is unfair or qualify you as a cheat, i am merely pointing out the pointlessness of whinging & bragging about how easy it is to win if you have superior equipment to your competiton. Lets face it, It doesn't impress, educate or entertain either.
Try the Expert races with a harder compound tyre in a car unfamiliar to you with minimal modifications. Try respecting track boundaries and avoiding dirty overtakes.

Hi guys and gals. I used the following cars for these races in the first run through.

Beginner race-Honda S2000 '06 450pp Sports Tyres Final gear set to 3.200. Easy win, not too fast on the straights but way too quick for eveyone else through the corners. Need more speed? up the pp, I've ran this set-up as far as 540pp in the past and it does just fine with the extra power.

Intermediate race- Subaru BRZ '12 491pp SS (SRF off) I upped pp by adding turbos and set final gear to 2.900. Again it looses a bit on the straights ,especially to the Gallardo and 599 but makes it up and then some through the twisty bits.

Expert race- Pagani Huayra '13, Tune by @praiano63. Way too easy with this car, ran really sloppy laps and still won by miles. Might have to use something around 600pp to make this one more interesting me thinks.

For Beginner, I used a randomly tuned Mercedes SL500 on CS tires. surprisingly took me a couple tries but I'm not the best driver.

Intermediate was the usual pass-the leaders-within-a-couple of-laps-then-they-use-their-magical-boost-to-stay-the-same-distance-behind-for-the rest-of-the-race race. I used a stock R390 Road Car on SH tires.

For Expert, I tried using a stock veyron on SH tires but failed miserably. Then I tried the Nissan VGT but spun out due to carelessness in the middle of the race. Being tired, I was easily frustrated so I turned it off and went to sleep.

I'll try it again later today.

I did the beginner & intermediate level challenges using a stock Tesla Motors Tesla Roadster '08 with comfortable wins in both races.

Also did the expert level challenge using a 600pp de-tuned Ferrari FXX '07 which I had been trying recently in the Matterhorn TT. The win on SS tyres was good fun, It was a lot more tricky on SH tyres and I could only manage 3rd place with lap times being 5-8 seconds slower than the SS laps.

Henceforth I will always try to do all a-spec challenges using only one manufacturer. The last one I was even more specific, and used only Corvettes. For this one, I'm thinking Aston Martin will suffice. Oh, I try to use untuned cars. Not necessarily bone stock, as required in the "stock seasonals" thread(s), but no upgrades bar tires and if need be, an oil change (race cars excluded).

Probably the easiest A-Spec seasonals we've seen in awhile. Took gold on all 3 on the first try, using only stock cars well under the PP limit (DS3, no SRF):

Beginner: Toyota FT-86 Concept
Intermediate: Aston Martin V12 Vantage
Expert: Nissan 2020 VGT

After reading some of the comments here, I just realised that the expert seasonal was 650pp. I assumed it was 600pp, like the previous expert races, when I completed it.
