xMARKITOxThis BURNS my soul!
Why? None of those cars are in bad shape and wouldn't take much to get them cleaned up and running again.

5. Poor mustang, Is that a Fast Back Too
Noy only a "fastback", both are Shelby GT500s.
EDIT: I have my infro wrong, the restored Peugeot is not the same car pictures in the first photo. The restoreed car is a Roadster, the rotted example, a Cabriolet.
Cano, your post is full of sin !
What are people really thinking when they do this to cars ? At least if the owner loses interest in a particular car, then sell it. Sell it to an enthusiast who will / can do something with a given car. Ok, so the owner passes away, let the family do something with it then, sell it off or something, don't just let the car go to hell.
Sad, sad, sad
Skylines...

So when I was going out to Friday's Pettit Le Mans practice last month we, referring to my Dad and Sister, had passed a junk yard that had the body work of a Ferrari 512BB. I hear someone in the background yell: "GET AWAY FROM MY FERRARI!!!" I nearly pooped myself!! So we ran away with our hearts beating faster than anything else. It was scary, but exhilarating at the same time.
So when I was going out to Friday's Pettit Le Mans practice last month we, referring to my Dad and Sister, had passed a junk yard that had the body work of a Ferrari 512BB. I have been to the Le Mans race at Road Atlanta for the past 4 years. Every year we had passed that junkyard with the Ferrari out front. It was heartbreaking to see such a priceless car become scrap. So this year we decided to stop a have a look at it. So we parked at the nearby resteraunt and walked a ross the street to take a pic. I soon to come find out that all that was left of the Ferrari was just the bodywork.
TheCrackerHave you tried to find it on Google Earth/Maps?

My second story doesn't have a crazy story but a sad one nine-the-less. When ever I went up to New York to visit some family we had always passed a junkyard going to breakfast. Well in that junkyard was a Ferrari 308 GTB for the past 6 years. This year it was gone, hopefully someone had taken it off their hands, and not....gulp.....crushed. Now back to what was in the junkyard, this year I had found these cars: Lamborghini Countach, Nissan Skyline R32, and a Gremlin. The Gremlin isn't that amazing but it's still a "classic" in my world. The other 2 are just heartbreaking to see rot away in that junkyard. At least the Countach looked okay on the outside, but thats just the outside. I can't say the same for the R32 though, all that was left was the bodywork. You can thank my Grandfather for not allowing me to stop and take photos for you guys to see, but it was sad to see those great models go to waste.
