We don´t feel much through the wheel while racing power steered cars IRL. You can argue the ECCI Non force feedback wheel has the most realistic force feedback if we wish :)

So dunno I think a game with ffb set as realistically as possible would really not help the driver at all. We don´t have G-forces we are enough handicapped as it´s. Though there is a saying if you go by force feedback you go slower.

Yes I know we lose a lot of information because vibration of the car chassis + Gs give our brain a lot more informations than just what we feel with our hands. This is why I dislike camera movements that simulate the pilot head inertia. I like chassis fixed camera because it is the only way to understand what is the car movement. I think simvibe is a very nice addon to give you informations (I mean that it is more realistic to feel chassis vibrations in the rig when going on kerbs than having a fake signal that makes the wheel shaking, or the RPM can be feel the same way through chassis vibrations).

And I don't think a non FFB can give you a realistic FFB, because the only way to have a realistic FFB is to send a torque input to the wheel and then to see what the wheel will do with or without driver input. A non FFB wheel can only resist to inputs, but will never be able to send to the wheel the torque produce by the car mouvement vs tire ground contact patch.

By the way I know the Accuforce is abviously the (one of) best wheel on the market, that SimXperience is a very professional enthousiastic company.

I am just speeaking of what the "right FFB protocol2 should be :)

If I had the money, I would certainly have a sim rig with Simvibes + Accuforce (not sure of motion rigs because of input lag).

Would you consider Screwing over a customer, Forcing them to wait 6+ weeks for a Piece of hardware you amused was a quality piece of kit A "professional enthusiastic company" ?

Also add in your in the UK and had to pay the INSANE VAT fee's 3 FREEKIN times due to Bernie sending out faulty gear without testing and Improper "WARRANTY/REPLACEMENT" paper work and REFUSAL to help pay back said fee's that were 100% bernies fault.

SIM x is 2X as slow as the DIY FREE software. Simtools 20ms Sim Commander 40ms

I 1000% refuse to deal with the likes like SimX. and you would be surprised how quick he gets the mods to remove said posts/Threads. Main reason Darrin banned me from ISR, Couldn't take the TRUTH about his MAIN site sponsor and I for one WILL Express Mine and other's opinion of said company on ANY and EVERY forum to make sure more aren't Blindsided by his Piss poor business ethics.

Also Hilarious how NO one picked up on my comment last page.

Thanks for the info. And yes 40 ms is a lot. When I was speaking of "professional enthousiatic" I were referring to the target consumers and the way they are marketing their product, I don't own anything from SimX.

I didnt really pay too much attention to simxperience since their stuff has always been out of my pricerange. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about them until now really. hopefully my wheel ships by april :/

Don't feed the troll. Plenty of people saw his comment on the previous page but no one cared so he couldn't help himself and had to try to bad mouth SimXperience again on this page so people would listen to him. People should know by now this guy is an attention hound.

No surprise you were banned from a forum. Really, not surprised at all.

Nick I am thinking about purchasing a Simxperience Stage 4, could you please share your experience matey?
I own a Stage 4 and it all works as it should, but I wouldn't like to have to sort out any issues if they were to arise. From the little communication I've had, I've deduced that I don't like their communication. It's hit and miss with getting a response, and I felt a tangible sense of condescension with the discourse.

As I swore I would share it whenever I had the opportunity, ECCI were amazing to deal with. Extremely prompt, considered, and generous. On that, I'd very much like to know how you would compare the ECCI 7000 with a Clubsport V2 and Accuforce if that has happened/does happen.

I'd like to see how this would work for classics... Daytona, Outrun 2, ect... shoot since it spins forever you could maybe even use it for games like Pole Position and Off Road!!

I am thinking more for old 18th century sail ship simulations. Put on my decently sized 365 mm rim and turn it around.

I run outrun2006 but then I run like 70 degree lock. Why would you want eternal lock?

Love the wheel but LFS is such an old POS game now. I'll take whatever footage I can get though for now. LOL.

say what? it may be old but it is very far from a POS IMO, very fun especially with the oculus rift

wheel looks realy good, although i cant see myseft getting anything like that anytime soon, pretty happy with what i have now

You set the lock you want, right? I wouldn't want endless rotation for Outrun of course, but there are some OLD racing games that used non FFB wheels that were really just spinners, that for some reason I still like!!

I have been reading a few of the reviews of the Accuforce and I got to say that I would love to get one, but it is a bit pricey but compared to Bodnar it is cheap and it looks really solid.

However if I ever get one I can not really justify doing so before I have seen some feedback on the durability.
If I pay this kind of money for a wheel I would expect it to last 10 years onwards.

If it weren't for Rift support, no one would be playing LFS today. That game was dead before the DK2 was released. Having such great support for DK2 when most other racing games do not is the only reason people are even talking about LFS today.

I disagree, while the number of people playing before oculus was supported wasn't massive but people were still playing it, myself included. Even if I didn't get the OR I would still be playing it because it is a joy to drive especially on a Buhler modded wheel (can't imagine the Acuforce wheel, I think it would be quiet a pleasant experience)

I wasn't disagreeing about its popularity, I know it's not extremely popular but that doesn't make it a POS. Sorry for the misunderstanding

Nick, that's some delusional trash talk.

1.- I had nothing to do with you being banned from ISR. I probably only visit ISR once every few months. I didn't even know your were wandering around talking sufficient nonsense to get yourself banned.

2- The Sim Commander software has 1ms of latency not 40ms. 1ms is the best that can be achieved on the Windows platform. The free, highly unrefined Sim Tolls software isn't even remotely competitive in terms of latency.

3-Whatever your beef with SimXperience is, you certainly never spoke to me about it so your posts are quite misleading.

If you feel you've in some way been wronged we certainly want to make it right. That would start with some effective communication. My email is bvillersjr [at] simxperience [dot] com

I can't tell what you may be upset about because your name isn't in our customer database.
