Yup. 1000ish car meet at the local drag strip. It's why I'm not racing with you guys...and it's so worth it.

A new GTR ran tonight against a 10 second Supra and won. Also there was a real nice LS1 swapped RX-7 that ran real quick. I'll have to post some pics/vids when I go next week.

Cool, that'd be a great name for the group.

After all my apprehension, I really enjoyed racing Trial and Tribulation Mountain. Got damage in qualifying for crying out loud. But running mid pack was plenty fun. Was thrilled to get 3rd after starting 7th in race 2. Other's misfortunes let me move up and aside from one tap, ran damage free.

Congrats to Roadrash and BK. And Mike too. Good driving on a tough track.

I did not realize I raced through lap 7 during the first race. Really put me behind pitting lap 8.

Man, only 2 weeks left in the season. Been a fast one. Not seeing many complaints regarding last nights race. I guess the race went much better compared to practice? lol

All in all a good race. Most of the incidents that I'm aware of were self inflicted. Fun place to race and it keeps you on your toes.

I had an awful race night once again.
Tagged the second turn wall had to pit and lost it once again in the final turn, Just during qualifying!!
In the race I was mortified that Logan and Dangit were both faster than me, after all I did practice over 20 hrs this week. I thought I had it nailed down, but once again the race pace was way too fast for my car's tires and slowness.
Hopefully I can scrape together enough points in the next two races to pick up the dejected and frustrated team Mercedes to the 100 point plateau. Not sure if I can after all DJ and Bret will be back and I can barely manage to get around them, guess I will try and put in 40 hours of practice this week....

Just go with no practice like I did, because either way I end up with damage. And then those 20 hours won't feel like such a waste.

I was pi$$ed last night, first a client wanted to hand off a file late, ok no problem I'll still make the qualifying with no extra practice, no biggie. Get text from wife that she's working late, ahhh, damn it, ok stuff happens I have to take the girls to swim team practice. 6:45pm my daughter throws a huge f'n fit that she doesn't want to go to swim practice. I could have raced after all. I really put in a lot of practice here because we were so close to the podium. the family is going to have husband/dad this weekend.

Well, I usually can't get to sleep after race night, my adrenaline is usually sky high. That being said it usually takes me a couple days to recover from the lack of sleep. Next thing you know it's the day before race day again and time to start all over

Brett. Add Scorpion to RR's A4 team. Transfer only those points from Scorpions finishes that Ito missed. Not his entire season's finishes.
