Akasaka Grand Prix -Ciro from the Giro steals 1st!

OH!!! How are we actually finishing as far as classes go, once it hits 93 minutes?

If I understood that correctly, I'll just say that once the timer reaches 93 minutes, you're on your last lap, be that lap 200 or lap 1 :)

BST will be doing around 53 laps if I've done my calculations right.

So, regardless of where we are on the track, we finish the lap we're on once the timer hits 93 minutes?

How many stops are ITCC likely to have?

One to two, with a maximum of 3 (cautions.) Given an FF car, I think most will pit under safety car. The FRs could possibly stretch the one-stopper, but I doubt it highly. Storm seemed bang-on-the-mark with that. But, after so few as 10-15 laps, we had begun losing a tenth or two per lap to tire wear. Even the BMW suffers tire wear surprisingly quickly.

Last time we didn't have any safety car laps so I hope it will be the same this time round.

Losing a tenth or two? That's nothing. :odd:

^ it's huge in ITCC,

If you've got three cars following bumper-to-bumper, a tenth can be the difference between a last-lap-pass for the win, and third place.

But if you're only running 2 tenths off fresh tyre pace then it'd take someone who pits on lap 15 ~100 laps to make up a pitstop on somebody who waits until you're losing around a second or two a lap.

Can't wait till Saturday I do like enduros especially on a track I love :)

Says the guy who recently admitted to only have raced one official enduro :)

Enduros are a nice break for me too. Kinda sad most of GT5's normal races are 5 minutes long (which feels like 5 years in B-Spec) and the shortest non-Grand Valley/Laguna Seca enduro is overly long. We do need some more events in the 1-2,5 hour range, but fret not! Those that know me will know I'm up to the mission with plenty of suggestions :D

And after that 1 I enjoyed it, our BST race 2 is like 45-55mins long so that's sort of a mini enduro.

I just like the concept of "shall I 1stop or 2?" And the fuel side of things

I think we should do a Brands Hatch 1000KM when GT6 comes out, especially since that used to be a regular Sportscar race in the 60's to 80's.

"shall I 1stop or 2?"

That, my friend, is the question of life

Without saying too much I can say a Brands Hatch enduro is just one of the alternatives. There's one track I'd likely use before it, but we'll get to that, I mean, let's get our car collections built up first, shall we? :)

Pfft, Morten, you're doing Apricot Hill first. Don't lie. :P I know you!

Apparently too well  but hey, it supposedly has time AND weather change :dopey:

I didn't know you finally had a schedule time for this unless I missed you post it in my Safety Car Club thread. Anyway, I updated it in the OP and I'll try to find out if redbull is still pacing.

Yes I should be there unless something big comes up. If that's the case I will inform you ASAP.

im talking about my modified GTR for your spec challenge i heard and what Subaru is allowed?

You mean the BST guys? Only GGT is using the R35 V-Spec, and the Subaru we're talking about is the premium GT300 car :)

rally, just wondering if there is a disconnection procedure in place? and I assume we can take up any incidents with stewards with resulting penalties possibly being applied after the race right?

Generally, if more than 2 people disconnect for network reasons, they should send me a PM (if I DC I'll PM all of you on my friends list :) ). We'll then exit track, save the replay, and wait 10 minutes for people to rejoin. It will, though, count as a safety car phase, which means:

1: the 10 minutes will not all be run again, but the race will start from the 5 minute spot after the next (e.g. if the race is DC'd at 33 minutes, the race will restart at 40. It will be announced at what race time it will restart, by me or a nominated steward).

If you think an action requires a penalty, PM me and the stewards. Adding penalties to timed events are hard to explain, so I won't even try :P

Which leads me to the next point, nominating stewards. I could need at least 3, preferably we'd be one from each class and the Head Steward. So if anyone wishes to, PM me 👍

Rally, will you have a microphone handy so you can instruct the Safety Car mid-race? Especially for when to pull in and red-flag scenarios.

Unfortunately, I don't, but it's not too hard tbh, when 2 people call for a caution, make it a caution (abusing it will be penalised), when you've done 2 or 3 laps, go in again, but make sure the field's bunched up by then. I will say if 2 people DC though 👍
