Akasaka Grand Prix -Ciro from the Giro steals 1st!

GT300 should be able to do a one-stopper easily, although cautions will give us more opportunities to get fresh rubber. I think we'll be pretty far ahead of ITCC. ;)

On restarts, no. Otherwise, do you guys run an extra turbo, on top of the stock GT300s, or not? If you do, you'll be permanently gone, until you come up to lap us. If you don't run the turbo, we'll keep up in the straights.

No turbos. Just stock except for the engine tune for the Lexus, but I'll have trouble keeping up anyway lol

Don't forget what I said at Trial Mountain: it's 1.5 hours, not 1.5 laps :)

Mel, we're going to be 10+ sec per lap faster. We'll be gone.

And ale, the Lexus spec has changed since you last ran it, you have my permission to run your S10-legal car, however.

I think the S10 car is slower than the new regs. My season 10 tune-sheet had a restrictor plate on it. Bigger difference is probably the RS tires, but we can't use those here haha

Right, I've just tested a GT300 car, and I've got to say, with the tune I found for it, it just sticks to the track like glue! No matter what, it just doesn't spin, and that could be what wins the race 👍

Also, offtopic, should, by coincidence, anyone be able to identify the text type of the banners headline? I forgot which one I used and I need it for, ahm, a special something :)

What lap times did you get?

I actually didn't notice what laps I got, but they'd probably not be worth much anyway as I didn't get the hang of it :)

:D

For a benchmark I just did a quick run to familiarise my self with the track and different tyres (which I actually prefer to be honest, much more gradual) and got a 1:42.131 with the possibility of 1:41s.

I should think BST guys should be a touch quicker given the slight hp advantage. 👍

Uhhh... not me for one, just did a few laps 1.44s and that was pushing it :nervous:

I did like a 1:47 or something with the GT300, but I'm usually like 3 seconds slower on average than everyone else lol

I'll probably be running 1:43s in the race though, just to make sure I don't hit anything. Plus I'll be pitting every 15 laps for tyres. :indiff:

...But, that's because you're Marunda. The one thing I'll admit about you TOCA lot, is that you're very fast.

ITCC runs 1:52s with drafting, 1:53s without. Crap, we're slow!

So, ran a little more in the thirsty GT300, and managed a high 44 and I'm pretty sure about half a second could be cut off that time. That thing is pretty much the grippiest car I've driven, it's almost understeering in fact :D

GT300 and BST are the one's I can't really decide on (haven't had enough laps in a BST to justify it) but, that car really does feel strange when you've gotten used to 600 horsepower GT or touring cars.

...Because it's ITCC. :P

Kidding aside, two weeks 'til race day, thereabouts? I will try to fill that final spot..

No one else wants to challenge you for your podium spot, Gedi :P

Gedi is not the driver he once was, he is in decline, It's sad to watch but true. Put your money on me alefin... I will triumph in tokyo 👍
