Honestly I don't know what I said hahaha. I'm not sure if you guys understand banana as a girl's toy or something in the common language lol.

So yeah, I'll be valiant to menace him anyways with anything what were needed.

Special 50th update

Over 250 images has been showed since this gallery started in August 2006. It was difficult and challenging to enter in this forum, yup, but now when I take a look to all things I have done here, I've a good feeling inside me.

So, a part of my gallery is yourself, all guys who supported and are supporting this community as you'll read when banana man ooops... TVR fan will make public the interview :)

This update is a very special one. I decided to dedicate it to Seat, and Spain of course, the Beautiful Spain as the tittle says. There are no many spanish people here, glad Fernando Alonso were kicking ass everywhere too, so now you have to know more about us. I guess anyone wish to see their national car builder in GT, so finally we got it, Seat is in now.

Probably these photos are not so beautiful as could be an Aston Martin, but I spent 15 hours of editting on them and I like to share it here. For me, they are technically good enough.

At the same time, the NSX of the 2.0 tourney qualifying inspired me a lot to make a photosession at Nordschleife, with the amazing Type C of 1937. In fact it was the first car to break the 400kmh barrier, and I always liked to take some pics of it in the Ring, giving the old flavour you are going to see next. Finally, I decided to edit one of them to show in this España bonita special.

Beautiful work from the master:) All are awesome shots. The fourth one is my favorite. You have a special way of cleaning the shots that has your name written all over it.

I do have to say that I almost enjoy the Auto union banner more than the full shot itself. Nice choice on the font.

BTW, I would love to live in Spain. I spent a week there and my heart stayed behind. Such a beautiful country. You are very lucky to live there.

Excellent variation of angles, perfect tone editing and cleanup
I want to comment a few of them ...
Seat 2nd: I think the far view doesn't need any noise
but at the same time there is nothing wrong adding some for realism ;)
Seat 3rd: I like the simplicity you got there
my recent stratos entry has similar angle, but your road lighting approach is much much better than mine, maybe I should try that some day
Seat 4th: I guess you spent most of your time cleanup this one. The taillights' detail is simply amazing. I don't even know if I can do as good as you do.
Auto union: The toury's NSX is absolutely great job, its partial blur and background are slightly more interesting. However autounion is far more interesting as the subject matter. I like the fall setting of the Ring, kinda reminds me some videos I have seen on carfreaks.com. I also like purple/blue shadow that adds a bit of old film style to it 👍

Anyhow I am looking forward the 100th update and see if you have improved yourself :D

Thanks C_F. Glad you liked it. I had to clean them and adjust some things, but I got mad to match the color to the real one! I expected the 4th one could be one of the most liked pic due to the variety of colors and details. I remember when you said you was going to have hollidays here, so it's nice to know you enjoyed Spain ;)

Thanks you too Franz. In the Seat compilation I didn't use any noise, I didn't like to kill some part of cleaning and brushed areas. Noise is real, imperfection is real, but not always I'm sure if apply it lol.

The tip to get nice tail and headlights is oversharp them a bit. I used this technique in the 2nd one too, after the originals seemed out of the rest of the editted car. Of course you need to remove wild pixels and use only slective parts to create more definiton.

I'm still waiting to know who made that NSX lol. But yeah, you're right. By now I just tried to know how to get similar colors and lighting. Finally, I think I'm near actually, but I decided to keep all details under control in this update rather overdo them after using more than 10 main PS features. Evidently the NSX has more work, as more filters or color balance were applied... I don't know, it's quite agressive btw, so I'll be messing arround because I want to continue a whole Type C update.

awesome pre-usual 👍

you should pick up tourst trophy sometime if for no other reason than a new challenge 👍 though, to be honest, im being a bit selfish because id like to see what youd do with bikes ;)

You never cease to amaze me alex. This update is extremely well done again. First of all the presentation is very nice and professional. The two shots that really catch my eye the most are the second and the fourth shots. With the second one you seem to be good at this type of angle, it looks perfect. The cleanup, tone and everything else is spot on. The texture on the road makes it even more realistic. I dont know if you ever made a tutorial on the asphalt texture but how do you do it? Is it just noise with a different blending mode. Now the fourth shot I think is the best, the detail on the taillights and the seat emblem is amazing as well as the blur. The sky is what first caught my eye though. Amazing job once again. 👍

very beautiful alex!!! i'm out of words actually. i would be more than glad to set my scion on fire just to be able to achieve something like that. the lighting, the speed, the cleanliness of the shots. not to mention such breathtaking colors. so well balanced and so well coordinated with the lighting. the details on the car were so well presented, despite spending so much time on the clean up, specially on the close up shots. they're almost photorealistic. i'm really out of words. :ill: the Streamline is a dream come true for me, too bad i wasn't the one who owns the photo :D but it's something i've always wanted to see. i hope you do more from that car and location. and i almost forgot, congratulations on your 50TH special. i hope alonso sees this :D i'm sure he'll be proud. to be honest, this update is something i aspire to everyday i do an update. always technically correct. i still have lots to learn. anyways, i do hope to see more of that Auto Union. keep up the good work man!

Those are two very solid updates. Just like all of your other updates.
I'd like to comment on all shots of the Seat update, so here we go.

The first shot is pretty nice. Good clean-up and the smoke looks good, but I think you added some with the dodge tool.

The second shot is great. It really is a kinda static shot, but you can just feel the action, because the cupra cuts off over the sand a little. I love the detailed headlights, and I really like the noise method or whatever filter you use for the asphalt. The area of the intercooler is a little bit lighter though. I understand that you made the bumper above it lighter, but the intercooler is some what deeper in the car, right? So that part needs to be darker I guess. I love how beautiful you made the Seat logo btw, on all of the pics.

The third pic gives a very peaceful feel, and the cleanup is great. I also like the glow on the mirror. But I like the 4th pic the most. The cleanup is outstanding, the blur is well executed, the composition is cool and the sky looks very nice. It maybe could look a little better with some gaussian blur over it. I like the way you accentuate the exhaust pipes always too, and I try to make it look as good in my updates too.

The last shot of the Cupra update is nice. The lighting looks very good, but the car doesn't look totally sharp. It's like the photographer didn't aim well at the car, and the car was taken a bit into the blur. But it's a good shot nonetheless, with a nice feeling of action.

The presentation is awesome btw. The spanish flag colors and the fonts all work very well. I also like the you continued the middle pic into the background of the presentation. Is that an idea of yourself? It's very cool anyways. 👍

The Auto Union is a really nice vintage shot. It looks very peaceful aswell. I'm really into the dark blue, and it fits the pic well. The presentation is very well done too. Nice and simple.

And congrats on your 50th update!

What a way to mark your 50th update , quite extraordinary... your work and the presentation of your work really is the 'Gold Standard' for what can be done with Photomode Gallery threads 👍 I love the 4th Cupra shot especially, although the whole set is outstanding. Keep up the terrific work

edit: Makes for a terrific wallpaper for a sunny Friday morning :)

I really like all of your Seat shots, they're all very well composed and cleaned up to a high standard to, but the 4th one really stands out to me. The combination of a blurred road and a static sky (that on it's own would be worthy of a photo) give it a lot of movement and excitement. Not to mention the awesome cleanup you've carried out on the car itself. 👍

The Auto Union shot is really neat, I like the idea of making it look old and faded and you've managed to carry that off well without going over the top and just putting lots of filters on there. Great work all around once again alex!

The seat shots rock.. really shot 4 rocks..very pro!
Fantastic work on the Auto Union, too.

Briliant work once again amigo. I had this car in mind a couple of weeks ago for a photoshoot. Must say you nailed this, because now i don`t think i will ever bring that update. Awsome work and looking forward for your 75th and 100th update :D

Damn, those are all so damn impressive...

I'll have to get back here and write a detailed comment as soon as I find some more free time and my brother lets me come here again.

But I'll say it again... impressive!

[empty space]. Hehe thanks, I haven't the TT here, so I guess you won't see many bike pics.

Krame. thanks, I'm glad you liked the 2nd one, in fact it was the hardest to edit, more than the colorful 4th. I'll do a little tutorial of my tarmac texture method ;)

Funkshen. Weh! Thank you!

jgda9rs. LoL, keep the Scion alive please. It'll be more Streamlines, I'm very confortable with it, with the location, and how the colors are comming out. I'll try to do an update focused on the Ring since 1936 to 2001 and 2007 soon, featuring one brutal lighting change.

sejtur. Yup a bit of dodgering was applyied. As you said, the blur sky fits great with the car yellow. Thanks for your large post.

Touring Mars. lol thank you too. Hope the next anual photomode awards will be prized with a t-shirt or something haha :P

Moglet. I spent some time reseaching for the best combination of filters, maps and colors so I'm glad with results of both cars. I think my technique is improving in this way! Thanks for being here.

Rayquaza. Thank you again.

LGforce. Gracias mate! Hope to see your interpretation of the same combination soon.

Beerzgood.👍

And here are the originals of the Seat update. It's interesting to check out the difference between many of them but I think the most noticeable improvement is in the 2nd photo. In the Tv screen didn't look so bad at all, but when I opened it in PS was the time for a disapointment moment. As I said, they are probably one of the best, if not the best, job of editting since a technical point of view.

Wow ... you really know how to darken and lighten up the right place to make the picture so dman good. I can see why the 2nd shot took you so much time on it. The headlight editing looks very simple to me but the comparison is amazing

I showed your pictures to my girlfriend. She said they looked nice but the glares were too much for her :indiff:

Is it me or has there been a lot of 50th updates of late, which seems spooky, anyway I just love the last shot Alex, just because how classy the car is, but the main reason I like that shot is because of the lighting and the shadows.

Franz... I guess you can understand now why I asked you some things. I got mad, crazy and many more but finally I found the way. Anyways yesterday I wasted two pics of the M3 GTR, so not always all is going sweet :).

TVR... I didn't know it really lol, but yeah I saw one more gallery celebrating the 50th too.

Yeah I understand sometime it can get frustrating. When I am desperated with too much problems, specially when I already spent too much time on it, I would just adding a glow to hide all the crap I have made LOL

WOW. This Seat update is amazing, stunning, superb. Words cannot describe how good it is. :D
All shot are very well done with great control on the light and colour and everything else.
I love the third and fourth shots, the sky looks amazing in the fourth. The car looks amazing in all the shots. So clean and vibrant in the yellow colour. Superb work once again as we have come to expect from you all presented professionally.

The Streamline is beautiful, It's nice to hear the my NSX inspired you. Your shot is far better than mine imo though. Love the tone of the image, great colour and light as usual.

I also want to say that I loved you Pand update, very cool and well done. Your simple yet amazing 16:9 GT-One update and can't forget your stunning Made to Win collections.

You truly are a King among the Photo Galleries and Competitions. ;)

Sorry about the lack of detailed comments on all your stuff I have missed. I am unwell, but hopefully I should be around more often. I will try and keep up with commenting on every ones galleries.

Keep it up alex, this gallery is always good to come to and I always get inspired from your work. 👍

The Auto Union shot is really simple, seems almost boring at first, but the more you look at it the more you find it interesting, and you end up loving it and checking out the detail.

Now, on the Seat update, what I found most amazing is how well you know every single detail and curve of this car, it's like you designed it yourself!

The amount of details you added to the car in most of the shots are nothing short of impressive, like the little 'step' bordering the rear fog lights, just brilliant.

Also, the way you made the side mirros on the 3rd shot go from dull to reflecting the sun and looking realistic also amazed me, top work all around.

You seem to be a real master of adding dodged spots and making things looks shiny, like the chromed exhausts, the mentioned mirror, the Seat logo, the headlights on the 2nd shot... you name it. I'd really appreciate some tips on this matter (as in just about every matter). ;)

Also, cleaning is near perfect, spotless and yet maintaining and improving the lifelike look of the paint, we can see every undulations, every reflections.

I could go on and on, but I don't want to be boring.

Excellent ++ update, alex. I'll rep you up as soon as I spread it some more amongst other members.

PS: I'm really sorry GT4 doesn't have my car in it, I'd love to see you spice up a metallic green/blue Seat Toledo 1.6 16V. :D

Well, I just have seen this update today...and U already know how I love your work Alex...but I will say it again...WOW!!!
U know really nice panels, and this one of the Seat, is one of the best to me.
The shots...they are all quite unique, specially the 4th one, brutal looking Alex, and great colors.
About the Audi shot, I don´t like the car very much, but U really have showed the "classic touch" very well, nice shot:)

So, when can we see more shots??

I was working in my next update wick is near to be finished, but I was disapointed with one pic wich I already edited 3 times. It's not the best base photo, but I like to chop it as a honour challenge.

Last night I was sketching a bit, nothing important, just a quick training. So as I have scanned an A3 I decided to post it here as a "Coffee break" :D meanwhile I finish the crappy M3 photo. Hope you don't mind a lot that disturb into a Gran Turismo forum :P

Someday we are gonna see a car designed by U in the streets, mark my words Alex. 👍

That car looks quite cool, you've really got an eye for good looking cars! I think I'd prefer them if the main lines were a little more defined though.
