You're style is different from all other styles in here Alex, that's what make your shots so attractive though some aren't really my style...One question though: Where did you take the shot of the GT40 and how did you get those colours? Car and background on one or different layers?

Good work!

Tell us the truth!!! You work in Polyphony and those are promocional images of GT5!!!

The light is simply beatiful and they look sooo clean... Top job, made to win :)

Cod_Father. Thanks for your comment man, evidently I think you usually do cleaner pics than mines, but I'll try to enjoy this moment LOL.

NTX1982. Glad you liked them! :D

franz. Yeah, you're right. I have in my GTP collection the famous ultrasharpened 205 T16 from JMX2222, and it inspired my entry to get it the most realistic as possible. You pay attention to every detail Franz :D. I'm impatient too to see the final R5 Turbo btw. Thanks for your visit!

LGforce. I was researching a lot lately with that stuff as you can see LGF, so I'm glad to see how good result are comming in the competition and people's feelings. Thanks you too!

jgda9rs. I have almost menaced everyone since I said I was going to enter comps to win or to win LOL. So, don't you feel attacked, it's normal LOL. Thanks for postting!

freddy86. Lately a good entry isn't enough as you know, it has to be better hehe.

Touring Mars. I decided to use that ugly think to try winning the final rather a Pagani, Aston or any other ultrabeauty :D. Finally it success

Vince247. Nice to read that!

Bram Turismo. The original was taken at Opera Paris, converted in a real piece of crap. But I thought it could be a great base due to the peculiar angle and night lighting. It seems simple, but that photo is "speaking" ideas in a graphic language really wich made it a winner.

I usually work in two different parts, a background and car separately in some part of the overall editting process. To apply cleaning and lighting methods, I need to preserve the other parts of the image from filters and tools. So, more than 2 layers was needed in this one too.

Arathorn. LOL, yeah I'm in Koto-ku behind the Polyphony's supercomputer

Yeah, it was fanny LOL. Here is the original. The clean up wasn't painful at all really, it's a miracle according to the crazy textures hosted at Opera. I worked on lights and colors taking care to do not kill some of the real look it could give. It's a rare pic I guess, but the black bckground, low point of view creating a dramatic protagonism of the car and beautiful GT40 shape was the key.

Lately I was working in my last photoadventure :D, but I have to say I'm a bit disapointed with the results. I'm hatting the jpeg compression of GT pics wich is specially bad in red race car due the complex surfaces (Sponsors, shapes and more).

But finaly, after resting a bit I think it's better to post them. As you can see, I changed into the wide ratio frame because... it's better. Well, the original pics has not an awesome resolution, but it's big enough to convert them, as simple as this.

Since some time ago I was reserching in proportions for design purposes, and for enhance the good looking of comp entries like the GT40 one. It's evident proportion matters, rather the relative size. So, 4:3, or... the 1,33 ratio sucks :D. As the golden section, the 1,618 ratio, is the standard DIN sheet format I finally went with the truly wide 1,78 ratio wich is the international unified old video ratios

Proportion matters :)

that looks great alex. that's enough attacks from you now, i'm calling the cops :D jk. but i might need your ambulance soon :D

i love how you do the widescreen format and the panel design. that's premium work man! keep at it!

I think I'm going to quit GT4 Photomode :grumpy:
I feel the same way also.
Alex, these updates are absolutely awesome... there's no real words to describe how great they are. One thing I struggle with is coming up with new/unique ideas... but you don't seem to have that problem.
How on earth do you do it? :scared:

Hmmm...I don´t know:rolleyes:...I really don´t ´know if they are awesome or incredible!!!! WOW!!!!👍
What can I say, U already know what I think of your work Alex, just continue to give us your beautiful shots and keep this gallery running ok?!

Stunner man 👍 I love the variation of tones in one update which is my thing
the DOV is another plus. Must be getting inspired from Sejtur or Alpha LOL
one thing for this update is they look very similar to each other except the 2nd and 4th
(yeah I love these two shots alot)
I know what it is like when you are so digging at certain angles and structures
then you are running into a loop of self-repeating
I don't know if you feel the same way

Comments next time. This should be the 50th special update wich is ready, but I had to do something to chase and blow the Adrian's Scion.

Ghostrider is going on fire from Stockholm at 200mph in the PandaBusa to kick some ass there. So, don't laught anymore :mischievous:

Remember, click on the image!

This was funny :P

Awesome shot alex. I don't know how you make your shots so realistic! My only complaint (and this is a very small one) is that the car doesn't look quite like it's on the ground. Then again, if it's going 200 mph it is possibly trying to achieve flight:D:D

edit: since I didn't even notice that the shot was taken at a phototravel location, I take back my complaint now. No complaints here, nothing to see, move along now:D

Alex that must be the best shot from that car I ever seen, and its looking wild!!!! A real Pandabusa
Great panel too!!!
Lets see if the Scion will cath it or not

PandaBusa WTF!?! AND NY phototravel with body roll?!? You must have been smoking LOL
anyway the motion blur is excellent, very subtle yet seems to combine from multiple blurs.... damn you are getting really good at it!! Reflection is great as always, specially the chrome on fiat emblem. The pres looks exciting too 👍

GTone Wide Vision

jgda9rs. Thanks. I'm glad how the wide version looks too.

Bram Turismo. lol, you shouldn't.

jacoja07. Actually I'm don't have a lot of ideas really, but I'm doing what I can lol.

Vince247. :)👍

NTX1982. Thanks for your comments man.

franz. Yes you're right, I thought to change some of them with lateral blurs, because a have over 50 more pics. I would have changed the pics you liked btw lol.

Ghostrider's PandaBusa

Cod_Father. Anyways the shadow must need a little fix as you say, but I was working so much to get some roll and blur, what I forgot to pay attention to that detail haha. Thanks for your observation.

NTX1982. lol, the scion will blow up, be patient. The busa name is refering to the 1.300cc Turbo engine of the Ghostrider, wich is common in kit cars and actual Lotus 7 replicas (Without turbo mostly lol). PandaBusa is a cool name, isn't it?

franz. Hahaha, glad this update gave you so laughts, that's what I wanted. The blur is a simple lateral one, but as I wasn't confident about the direction it was suggesting, I decided to overlay a curved blurred noise (Just in a new black layer) to create a bit of incomming car sense. I got mad trying to make a decent curved blur using the original tarmac so I aborted it to find an alternative, because this photo must be to have a good time when editting.

[empty space]. lol, true, it could be nice to add a Hayabusa chasing the Panda next time.

freddy86. Thanks!

TVR&Ferrari_Fan. Yup, I performed an ultra-simple graphic to make it more cool if were possible.

jgda9rs. Haha, don't get wrong, your Scion will come from heaven really, not very wild so :sly:

Vince247. Yeah, a crap burning New York lol.

LGforce. Thanks, details are important too hehe.

sejtur. Thanks you too.

I'll show the 50th special update these days, when TVR make public the interview, to combine both in only one day.
