The 350Z, the Viper and the Charger all look just fantastic, alex!

I like the mature tones on the 350Z, combined with the composition. Did you do any blurring yourself or is that all GT4 blur? Looks damn nice.

The Z4 is really weird, it doesn't even look like your work.

And the gradient map (or maybe more than one) of the GT-One really suits that shot, great mood you set there.

The Viper...WOW, one of the best drift shots I ever saw in GTP, great quality too, and also a very good work with the reflections!!!
The Charger...damm thats HOT!!! Thats one of your best shots IMO, quite simple looking, but at the same time, full of little details that make the shot look spectacular. Love the "grain" look, goes well with the background!!! Well done:tup:

franz. Thanks Francis. As you say this update is different, quite old according to the previous ones. There are some different kind of photos and PS styles.

Drift2XS. Yeah, I can't win everything lol. I don't know why people dislike so much the Z4, but the polls are the judge. When I resized the Charger, the sky came out dusty due to the light clouds wich I thought blurred, but I'm confident with results anyway. Thank you for stopping by.

Beerzgood. The focal blur is just GT ingame. I did not use any mapping tone but its the best to don't distort some parts of the picture as I did. Thanks.

About the washing car conspirancy in GT4, originally posted here, I tried to clarify this old well known quid using the evidence of photomode.

Does GT washing feature works?

Does it matters how many times do you wash the car?​

So, take a look...


I used the same camera in phototravel, and the most accurated camera as possible at Laguna Seca track. In both, the position of the car is exactly the same, so next you are going to see:

Car unwashed
(After 15 min of idiot cruising arround dirt areas of a track to get as rubbish as possible)









Car washed once









Car washed a couple of times









Conclusions

- The car is always absolutely cleaned at Phototravel. It doesn't matter if you wash it or not before taking shots.

- When you wash the car just once, it's as cleaned as possible. It doesn't matter if you wash it more times, it'll look the same.

- Dirty areas of tarmac tracks affects to the car surfaces too, so the car will get rubbish faster than going only on asphalt.

- The car losses shine (Equal to do reflect textures), just that.

- Wash your car for 50cr and forget anything else. It's simple ​

Neat alex I was always a little wary when people said washing a car multiple times makes it cleaner. I never really noticed a difference. Those two detailers give it a good go when they get paid their 50cr.

Nice work alex, now we can put this rumour to rest. But there is one more conclusion I must make now. When you have your car washed a couple of times you take more care with it not to drive onto the dirt as seen in driving on picture 6, you can see the brake light on as for the others aren't braking

Hi all, thanks for you comments. Yeah, sometimes dirty cars could be better to edit them, like the black beauties. Just taking a look to the GTone to see what crazy textures are reflected!

The GTauto is a nice method to pass days. I used it to finally get my 5 black cars qithout get absolutely bored.

But now, I'd like to introduce a new update with a batch of 5 important entries. I guess the Corolla WRC won't be loved a lot LOL, it's a PMC rules pic, but I needed one last image to complete the batch of this update. I had the Renautl 5 Turbo ready to jump in, wich did not win anything yet too, but I''ll fix some crappy textures until posting it here.

I have to notice you this is the 48th update, aaaand... the 50th is comming. So, stay tuned
