The 5-cyl is a very appealing engine, but I'd be happy enough with the 1.9 - it's less thirsty and more reliable.

However, that car is a great example of a well-maintained car comfortably going the distance - modern Alfas are realistically no less reliable than any other car as long as they're given suitable care and attention.

Funny, there's a Fiat dealership that I drive by and their highway sign shows the Fiat and Alfa Romeo logos. I'm excited :)

Very silent for 510hp.

Needs less mufflers.
I dunno, sounds reasonably enthusiastic to me. Particularly for a turbocharged V6. Not as musical as an old Alfa 'six but suitably meaty.

Intrigued as to the sound around the 36s mark though. Wonder if that's the splitter hitting the road under compression or part of the underside. If it's the latter then there's still work to be done on damping...

There's two Giulias in the clip and there is the same noise at 1'35 when it goes over the kerb in the same car. It looks more like the splitter.

More competitions. The better it is for us drivers...

Definitely a welcome back.

It looks properly meAn.

Can't wait to see a comparo with the Jag' Cad, Merc, Bimmer, and rS4?

Sounds like one heck of a sedan if you ask me, i mean, this was supposed to compete with the M3! Not Porsches and R8s!

Welp, whatever makes the Giulia sell, i guess.

Supposedly they turned the engine up which damaged the clutch, take it with a pinch of salt at the moment as there is no official times yet.

The Giulia to the "ring" has turned 7.43!!! Stronger of the audi r 8, Mercedes SLS and of course also of direct competitors (type BMW m4 that turn the 7.52). In addition, the engine is more powerful than expected (approximately 540 CV against the 510 who say journalists). They also have some "serious" problems of structure and clutch (due to the engine too powerful). Now I'm in Modena and cassino to refine the better everything and then we return for lower still a little time!!
