Here's hoping that they new Kart is a 125 shifter, even if it's just a two speed like the Rotax DD2 karts, as that'll make a dramatic difference in the low end. Add in the not so hidden Kart tracks at Fuji, Spa and a couple others, and perhaps a DLC world class track or two and Karting would be a lot more fun in GT5...they are so so close...

+1 👍

California's actually a beautiful state, San Francisco is one of the most amazing cities I've been to. Just steer clear of the natives, and L.A. Lol

hay now i was born in L.A. and california is a top five most beautiful state in the continental U.S sonoma county (wine country) has some of the most spectaculal views anywhere, big bear is amazing and then there is tahoe, wow just gorgeous it's not all concrete and gang members...lol

I got you all beat, NJ is by far the red haired step child of the USA. I was thinking about jumping on the spec lounge in 2-3 hours if anyones interested

Absolutely nothing to do with Alfas, but if you go to Google and type let it snow the result is pretty cool.

I'll be in the ORCA_Champ lounge most of this afternoon (It's 1:39pm here).

It's not even 9 in the morning here. I just got up a bit ago, having some coffee and reading my GTP newspaper. I might join you a little later though.

iridegravity
they just quit..U GTP Cats crack me up

Huh?

I'll probably have the lounge open later this afternoon, I'm just sitting down to some lunch. The UK guys had it open earlier, probably dinner time for them now.

Eh? we're still here. in the ORCA champ lounge.
remember that there won't be a yellow circle beside the name as we're all logged in as ourselves.

Thanks to all for a good afternoon's racing. Nice to meet some new peeps too!

 I sure hope this is what Santa's bringing me this year!! 5 monitors plus an iPhone showing telemetry!!!!

Interesting fact for today: The Zagato in our favourite car's name refers to the design house. Also the CN.AR750106 refers to the chassis number, about which loads of info can be found here.

Very nice indeed, but there's no Alfa!
Also, have you been good enough to get something like that from Santa?

^ I've provided over 50 organized races and brought drivers together from all corners of the world. That's gotta count for something, right? :dopey:

I sent Santa a text, told him I'd pay for the iRacing subscription if he provides the hardware. Should be a no-brainer. :dunce:

If Santa comes through, I'll send you a helmet, gloves and racing shoes... Apparently those are mandatory wear items when you have a driving rig that hardcore?

And a radio to talk to your 'pit-crew'?

You should never skimp on the proper safety equipment, no matter how innocent something seems... I can only imagine how much neck fatigue one would incur from hours of gam...I mean racing.

I actually have a pair of Adidas driving shoes that I wear whenever I race on GT5. I have some gloves too but only use those for really long races. I have a full-face helmet, but I've never stooped to that level of dork-ness........yet.

What about one of these?

Or is that just a step too far?

There may have been a time or two where I put on my snowmobile helmet while racing...Only to humor my little cousins though I promise.

Sidenote, what are peoples time looking like at Daytona. I spent about an hour there the other day and got around 2:06:500. That first corner is still giving me a troubles though.
