Yeah, they are automatic.

Awesome, Yeah I saw the video with the S Honda MUGEN MOTUL CIVIC Si Race Car ‘87 on SSR7 and I was thinking to myself well..... it had lights on? lol

Edit : that makes me wonder, if it's automatic, I'm guessing it just has a standard brightness, unless it knows how much to auto adjust for the highbeams.

I updated my post, I think standards can be toggled, but no "High beams", you'll have to ask Tekken or RDK about that.

Driver lvl. 13 now.

btw Course maker themes:

- Toscana (Tarmac)
- Eifel (Circuit)
- Mt Aso (Tarmac)
- Liege (Gravel)
- Alaska (Snow)
- Eifel (Kart)
- Tokyo Bay (Kart

I think we can unlock some more in careed mode, just like themes for Photo travel, but I don't know it surely at this time.

Track list:

I think it is complete guys. Because there is "Nürburgring 24h (Time / Weather)" and you must open this in Nurburgring Challenges.
Sounds good 👍

i can take criticism just fine and will give some when I play the game myself.

I would have to say the game is looking damn near perfect! lets see rally racing, karting, nascar, track editor, 16 car races, weather effects and greatly improved sound . they could have only added the 200P cars but in steed added some standard cars to the mix! i am damn sure happy they added the standard cars, even if i can't change the rims on them.

in 5 years they have made and released 3 other games i wish people would quit throwing 5 years around! like it has been said 100x wait till you play it

as it stands right now gt5 will offer more than any other racing game on the market

I agree that we have to wait til the game is in our consoles. But from what I have seen on the videos Tekken has uploaded it looks very disappointing. Like the physics on the snow track when they crash, and then when then car flips. And there isn't even any damage. I sure hope it was just set off OR that he has some kind of beta version. The fact that it wont have a livery editor after 5-6 years is also very disappoiting, I was realy looking forward to that. But then again, just being able to change wheels on premium cars shows lazines or something else from Poly. What have they done during all the years, realy what?! It can rain on a few tracks, wow other racing games have had that for years... Nah, I don't wanna say more, I might regret myself on the 24th :)

@tekken90: I have an important question regarding the wheel steering angle.
Does the wheel steering angle get reduced with some cars?
For example, with a normal/street car you would have 900 degrees lock to lock.
With a Kart or a Formula 1 car, is it still 900 degrees or less?

Second request: could you make a list (no need to make a video for this) of Course Maker themes and Photo Travel locations?

Third request: what parameters can you tune up in the set up screen in the career (GT Life) mode? Could you make a video of that or list all modifiable parameters? Is it possible to select how much fuel to put in the fuel tank, or tire pressure?

Fourth request: have you seen the data logger yet? Could you make a video of that?

Thanks for your time :)
I hope I'm not asking too much!

Hello tekken90!
I have a serious question about Data Logger Visualization Technology - is there any content? Maybe real-life laps? (converted to GT5 replays).
Thanks!

Can you change down from 5th gear straight into 1 at gear and see what happens.
Thanks.

Thanks for the info. And how long (how many days) did it take you to reach level 13?

1. I don!t know now, Gamepad only :/

2. You must open new themes, but for now:

Kyoto - Gion
Bern - Marktgasse
Ahrweiler - Town Square
Ahrweiler - Street

Unlocked:
Ahrweiler - Gate
Red Bull Hangar - 7

3. What do you mean with these parameters?

4. Data logger video planed fot today.

@tekken90

Very Important: did you find the "Sienna - Piazza del Campo" - Kart Track in the Game????!!!!

No...

Thanks for answering!

3. What do you mean with these parameters?
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I mean parameters in the car tuning screen, like in GT4:

http://img.gamespot.com/gamespot/images/2005/052/reviews/561066_20050222_screen005.jpg
http://media.photobucket.com/image/gt4 gear ratio/alan_gti/DSC_1320Small.jpg
http://guidesmedia.ign.com/guides/489327/images/gran4_05_tuning_02.jpg

I'd like to know what parameters can be modified/tuned. A video would probably be easier to make than manually listing everything.

Good! Thanks.

Karts only for Tokyo Bay? :( I think that would be the best custom course theme for everything.

He listed Eifel as Kart and we've already seen a video of that track with something other than a kart on it. I guess it's meant for karts in the sense that it can generate smaller courses which are appropriate for karts.

Eifel also has Circuit and road variations though. Hopefully we can just widen the track and use it as a City Course for cars...

Well, don't assume just yet. You can widen tracks to make them fit cars. And Mt Aso (or w/e) could be perfect for drifting.. don't give up hope yet everyone, this could be a revolution of racing games as we know it!

I can see Vettel trying to recreate Yas Marina on it now...

I think Mt. Aso is a sort of parodic reference to Mt. Haruna in Japan, the real life setting of the anime/manga "InitialD". Its a very similar location in real life. We already know Kaz to be a fan of the series as he included the AE86 from the show in GT4 and It's confirmed for GT5 as well. So yea, i'd say this will be a great setting for drifting, hopefully downhill drifting!!

Thats racing games for you. No matter how realistic they get in other aspects, you still have to crash the car at mach 1 just to bend the bumper.

Personally, in my mind I never at any stage had hopes for gt5 having even close to realistic damage. So I'm not dissapointed or let down in anyway.
The way damage is in gt5 is a bit of a told you so moment, except only in my mind :)

Thought it would be incredible to have a true to life 1:1 damage system,
When you combin the fact manfucturers dont like their cars being damaged in a life like fashion (this is not a trvial matter, they are really anal about it), and it would also open up more work for the developers, its a bit of a no brainer you won't get proper damage.

I could care less about visual damage, mechanical damage is where it's at.

In a game that deems itself as "the Real Driving Simulator" no car should be allowed to hit a wall at 250 Km/h and get away with it like nothing happened.
