B-spec, I always loved the concept but couldn't get into it... now it's going to be online? That just sounds fantastic! Putting our drivers against each other?

Can't wait for that...

Yes! That's gonna be fun.

Looking forward to "My Bob is less stupid than your Bob" matches.

Hi Tekken, is it possible at all for you to find a friend that has a Logitech G25/G27 that will let you borrow it for a day?

I'd like to know if the clutch function works, either automatically or do you have to enable it like you did in GT5P and also if somehow extra settings appear to configure it.

I spent quite a lot of money and time building a setup using the G27 in anticipation for GT5 like a lot of others and it would be a complete waste if a simple thing like the clutch was not supported.

Thanks.

Hmmm... I wonder if I can train my bob Karate Kid style. You know, "teach him a lesson once in a while." Just so I can put him in his place.

Yes, I would also like to know this as well. I went all out for this game ahead of time. Got me a racing seat and the G27. Would like to see if anyone confirm that this wheel is fully supported in GT5.

The Premium GT Auto video is a HUGE relief!!! I saw the car list and in it theres 17 cars with RM listed beside them, along with counterparts if the exact same car, without the RM. I was afraid only 17 cars were eligible for Race Mod, but you proved that wrong, thank you!!!!!!

EDIT: ................and I could be wrong because that is a car that has the RM name in the car list as well..............LAME AGAIN!

Good point.

A request for Tekken- even without showing us a video, can you see if you could race mod Premium cars that don't have an RM counterpart. For example a Ferrari F430 or BMW M3 Coupe ('07).

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, and it might be silly but, do you get to choose your racing suit colors? Maybe some very basic personal settings at the beginning?

And in B-spec, do you name your driver or just it just use your PSN ID?

I myself would like to know if you can save the 24hr Endurance race.

I would also like to see the option of doing a 24hr Endurance race co operatively with your friends. For example I could do a 4hr stint and then my friend comes online and he takes over when I drive in the pits. This could be shared between 1-3 of your friends.

Personally I cannot see any technical reason why this cannot be done. We see Co-Op play in other games but nobody has tried implementing this in a racing game which I find baffling.

I really don't see how this could be possible. So you drive into the pits and then save and turn off your playstation? And then your friend gets home from work turns his on goes to the track/lobby that you were in and hops in the car and finishes the race?

Sorry but that sounds complicated. Where would this car be sitting in between you and your friend playing? And who gets the winnings, divided between the two of you? What if he crashed and lost the race?

does anyone know if they decided to include the dynamic objects on the track?

There are cones and barricades that can be hit. So the answer to your question is yes.

i havnt seen any so far, i could have just missed it, but with all the rumours of missing features i thought they may have missed out those dynamic objects

Sorry I must of mistyped my post and didn't explain it properly.

I don't mean you save and then your friend takes over. What I mean is when you enter the pits you send a game invite to your friend and he then takes over. Yes you would share the winnings as that is pretty obvious.

All im saying is Co-Op play works in other games and I cannot see why it cannot be done in a racing game.

Okay that makes sense and I believe that would be pretty fun.

tekken - Why you play the best sim game on PS3 on gamepad... it's stupid...

What really is stupid is people looking down on others because of their personal preference. It's not for everyone to play with a wheel. Some like to use the gamepad. As noted before, if that is due to space, money or what ever.

People could say it's stupid to spend money on a wheel, but there are more important stuff :sly:

Thats a good idea for online mode. I would rather keep single player 24 hour races to myself and B - Spec though.

O.T. It seems of is the new have.

Instead as a thank you for Tekken's hard work he could open up a paypal account and we can all chip in a few £'s or $'s so that we can all treat him to one?

I'm in.

No it's good ,I have no space for a wheel so don't use one ,I've played all other GTs on the normal controller so I don't see why GT5 will be any less fun.

You can get a wheel and pedals really REALLY cheap these days, about the same price that a game will cost ya.

But still, people are free to play the game however they like!

I'm sorry but I'm missed the last ten pages or so, and I don't know if this has yet been approached or not:

Where are the crowds and tents and the detailed graffiti writtings in the track that they told us and showed us in a number of shots taken (supposedly) in-game?

Those cheap wheels are a waste of time and money. My first wheel was a cheap non force feedback wheel and it broke after six months. Also it didnt feel right without force feedback. I bought my G25 about four years ago and it still works as good as it did the day I bought it.

Yeah good point where are the crowds on the ring?

Didn't PD say that crowds were dynamic? In the last video it was only 1 lap is that why there is no crowds? You are correct where is the writing?

LTLFTP :)

As a long time lurker on these boards, I thought I'd just say a very large thank you to everyone who has given me hours upon hours of hugely entertaining reading and viewing.

An extremely big shout out must goto Tekken, who has provided some fantastic pictures and some decent quality vids. ( I am sure I speak not only for myself, but for the vast majority of folks eagerly awaiting this grand title. )

Pleasantries over.

I for one have been around the interwebs vast and varied forums for what seems to be like an eternity now. I have witnessed the numerous daily ramblings of immature and juvenile folk, with their post now think later attitude. Seemingly intent on causing nothing but grief for the sake of it.

It is exactly this type of attitude ( See above quoted post for reference ) that fans the flames of trolls, and serves no other purpose at all other than to clutter, disrupt and take away from the real purpose of what the thread/threads were originally about. ( The above said poster might think that he has a valid point to make, but his actions will then lead to reams of off-topic posts, which will make for unpleasant reading. )

It does not matter one iota which way you choose to play, as long as you get hours/days/weeks/months of enjoyment, that is all that really matters.

Lastly. Arguing on an internet forum with faceless strangers, is a futile exercise in boredom.
