ALMS Season V

Was Kazuki Nakajima driving that Porsche? That's twice the Delta Wing has been taken out by the driver error of another driver.

No, Kazuki is busy celebrating his win at Fuji in the Toyota TS030. Drivers say its hard to see because of its size and color.

Barely reached the mid point of this week. Will it share the same fate as it did here and at Le Mans? The Porsche turned in on him obviously.

Yea at least Kazuki redeemed himself :) That's not the first time Kazuki has made a mistake though. Back in F1 he hit 2 of his pit crew members. It's good to finally see him reach his potential at Fuji.

I can see why it's hard to see. Also I'm still trying to figure out why Nissan put headlights right in front of the rear tires.

So final race tonight guys. Im guessing all the usual people will show up? I tried to get some practice in yesterday but kept going off track. Im guessing a clean lap will be around 4 minutes for GT?

I did a 4:09.6 on my first clean lap. Can do better.
You guys will probably be around 4:04-5.

Well, I normally say there's about 1 second per minute of a lap between the tyres, but I dunno... 4 seconds is a lot of time.

Room is up for testing session. May have a late start as I am trying to help with my cousin's new graphics card for his PC.

Ok, so I'm on a 4:05.9 at the moment. I'm seeing some nasty rear wheel degradation that's going to affect me, so I'ma address that now.

It's Sarthe, FH. I ain't gonna miss it unless I get a catastrophic fail in my internet.

Lap 8/25: Day has a lead of 3 seconds over second place Anthony in the LMP class. The current fastest lap in LMP was set by Sinladar with a 3:33.764. Stormy is leading the GT class with a 4 second over a fast coming Skill in second. Fastest lap being set by Skill with a 4:01.743. On lap one a quick James came into the points leader Flyin and spun out and as he started to save it he was hit in his right rear quarter panel. Nothing else to report

Lap 10/25: Seth pits with a 15 second lead. That soon came and went. Day, Ant & Sin fight for the lead. Fastest lap is still by Sinladar with a 3:33.764.

LMP Lineup:
1: Day
2: Ant
3: Sin
4: Seth

Stormy still leads the GT class over Storm. The fastest lap was still set by Skill with a 4:01.743. The great Gatrs parked his RGT early in this event. James soon followed.

GT Lineup:
1: Stormy
2: Storm
3: Skill
4: THAT_GUY
5: Flyin
6: James
7: Gatrs

Lap 18/25: Track is starting to get dark with 7 laps to go. Seth leads the LMP class over Anthony. Stormy leads the GT class over a fast Storm. No rain has been seen yet. Gas tanks are starting to get empty tires are starting to go away with every lap. Anthony takes what might be his final pit stop. Flyin also takes what might be his final pit stop. Should be a good final 7 laps.

Lap 20/25: With 5 laps to go everyone has taken their final pit stops. Now its a mad dash to the finish. Day once again leads the LMP class after taking it from Seth during his final pit stop. It is still Storm vs Storm in the GT class as the laps wind down. It is pitch black here at Circuit de la Sarthe. All you can see is head lights and what illuminates the front strech. The following drivers have parked there cars.
1: James
2: Gatrs

Final Laps: With 2 laps to go the leaders are Day in the LMP class and Stormy leading the GT class.

It appears that the LMP class leader may not have enough gas to make it to the line without one final stop. If he stops that might leave some time for the second place driver Seth to make up time and steal first place from Day.

There is still as good battle going between the 2 Storms.

It appears our leader did not pit this lap. But accourding to are moniters it looks like the leader may run out of gas this lap. If he doesn't run out this lap he will for sure run out with 1 lap to go. Seth passes the leader as he runs out of fuel with 2 laps to go ladies and gentlmen.

The fans are going crazy here. It appears that our leader went from first to fourth as he ran out of fuel. 1 lap to go. The sun is starting to come up once again.

Our leaders are Seth in the Bentley & Stormy in the Ferrari.

Day has just made it to the pits as Seth is working his way to get the white flag.

This was a heck of a race. But like all cinderella stories here at Circuit de la Sarthe it must end.

Our two class leaders have gotten the white flag.

It appears that Seth may run out of gas on this lap. If he does it will probably leave enough time for Anthony to catch up and take the win away from him.

Now lets get back to the GT class for a second it appears about 2 hours ago the white Lotus driven by Flyin has parked. Seth wins the race by 28.955 seconds over second.

Final Results:
1: Seth
2: Anthony
3: Sinladar
4: Day

GT:
1: Stormy
2: Storm
3: That_Guy
4: Skill
5: Flyin DNF
6: James DNF
7: Gatrs DNF
