15 minutes dude. I'll wait as long as possible. We also had a few disconnects too that I'll be waiting on.

Race has started.

Bout time I got a win again. Still was a second slower in fastest lap. I didn't tune for ultimate lap time, though. Good race, glad GT guys stayed their lines.

I felt like I slowed Sin down a lot. I would try to give him the racing line, but then he would brake and give me the corner. Thanks for being patient with me Sin.

Good job on the strategy Seth. Goes to show you dont always need fastest lap time in the race to win.

That's the closest Qualifying I've ever seen for GT. Internet trolled me right at the last knockings of quali before the race; seriously annoying. Hence why I never returned and went to bed.

There were some great battles in GT even though there were only three left. We really have to do something about that Evora though. It has way too much of an advantage on tire wear, and can keep pace with the rest of the field.

EDIT: Nurburgring results updated with laps completed and gaps. Updated the Manufacturer's points as well.

Sarthe is a strong track for higher powered cars. I think the Viper will be good there. It'll be a draft battle though, so as long as people stay close to eachother, I think that'll be a tire wear event as well. I wish Spa was on the schedule. I think most everyone has that track, and I'm looking forward to Motegi as well.

Its np FH I was just trying to be careful its difficult to pass on this track. Also I was 2 secs off pace so It wasn't an issue.

I have no problem about Spa being on the calendar, but Motegi should be a mid-season race. I mean, Spa, is Spa, so it's a must-buy.

As for the Evora, FH managed to keep up with us for 12 laps, and then outlast us for three more on the same tires. When me and TG2 took our second pit stop at lap 23/24, the Evora was still running on the same tires it had when it took a pit stop on lap 15, and managed to keep the tires even until the race finished. On the same tire compound.

Me and FH discussed this weeks ago. It doesn't matter what you do to that Lotus, there's other ways it can be competitive unless you seriously think about the effects of what you're doing. The bhp was lowered, it was still faster, then it was lowered again and the tyres were more resilient, resulting in competitive lap times over a longer stint.

It's gonna sound like bragging, but me and FH worked on the car a fair bit early on in the season after ghs tanked Daytona comfortably. FH has found a tune that works, and with that amazing tyre saving style he has, he's definitely found form. I'm not very nice on my tyres, and it's evident in replays, but I've been running handicaps (sometimes unintentional) most of the season as a guinea pig for feedback, and given my lack of drive due to internet woes, my pace is still up there with you guys when I am available. I was aware that the Evora was competitive at 460 as far back as Spa, and FH was aware that our tyre wear would drastically improve with lower bhp as far back as Indy.

In short, sure the car is amazing, but FH and I working together has definitely brought the Evora's prowess to light; without a doubt. It's safe to say that our teamwork would find a way around the next handicap, if it is given another one.

I know sin will be fast the next race, he's good at Sarthe, so is the Toyota. Instead of slowing the Evora, speed up the others. Drop them 20kg, that'll give them better tire life and some acceleration.

I'll run this idea by Gatrs and see what he thinks. I'm not sure, but I don't think we want to go lower than 1300 kg for the GT class, but something must be done.

I don't doubt your guys' driving and tune, you guys are blisteringly quick. Except when I drove the Evora for my first time I was able to match you guys on pace as well. I realize that you guys have developed the car into something else, but let's be realistic, a tune, no matter how good, cannot improve tire life by three laps. Sure, maybe 12, but three? In GP/F? Weight is the only way to solve this, but it doesn't matter at this point in the season. FH won the championship.

Anyone watching the bathurst race? Looks like Nissian and Mercedes will be in the V8 Australia Supercars next year. So with GT5 scanning Bathurst a couple of months ago. Looks like Kaz is going to race V8 supercar in GT6 or dc ??
If so we need to put Bathurst on the schedule when we get it.. This track is crazy!!

You're too excited with all those typos.

Yeah, I like Bathurst. I don't think we'll see the track until GT6 sadly, unless GT6 gets delayed like GT5 was. The only V8 Supercar in GT5 is the Ford Falcon. If Nissan will be in it next season, then there might be a big chance we may get a larger line up.

But I can't see Kaz racing in the V8 Supercars though.

If you can make it, welcome. There is only one race left in this season, which is Le Mans, and then the end of season special, Motegi, which doesn't count for points.

As far as mixing up the tire compounds, I believe that the rule does exist for the actual series where you can't mix the tire compounds, but I see no rule for it in the OP, so anything goes for tires, as long as you limit them to Racing Medium or Hard for GT class.

Oh, if it's the last race then it's alright then, I'll sit it out. Have fun, hope you guys dont have any problems with the server. :)

Come on man! It's Le Sarthe! It doesn't matter if it's the last race. Just do it for the fun of it!

But if for some ungodly reason you choose not to , you can always join next season as well. 👍

I might actually make a race this week for a change. My schedule is actually free finally tomorrow evening.

Next week would be a blessing for me. Bit lets make the race date certain. I still need to at least show up to clinch the championship.

If there are no objections by tomorrow afternoon, we could switch.
Any objections at all and we (rather you all) will do it tomorrow.
