Am I the only one without an active invitaion to purchase a car from Brand Central?

When will people finally understand that it was never meant to exist in the first place?! :dunce:
Obviously it was a bug.

They killed it before addressing issues with lobbies, lack of content, adding in car selling, or the handful of other issues people have. Lots of games do that when they sell currency.

Someone that gets this game today is facing a horrible economy that’s probably worse than at launch when people complained and review bombed the game. Prices are always going up while ways to make money aren’t.

I don't think it should be removed, the best change for me would be Invitation linked to our collector level (For exemple : You can buy a Carrera GT when you reach lvl 40...)
But that's just doing exactly what I said, removing them from being locked behind the ticket system. I didn't say remove the tickets ;)

Invites should've been realistic. You don't just win an invite to buy a LaFerrari in the lottery. Ferrari would laugh at you and refer to the person who sells the Portofino.

Well, it happened today. 4 star ticket = Ferrari invite. I'm back to somewhat happy again. That ENZO! Super nice car at 700PP. The other two are unsuable in the Ferrari events due to PP limits. You can detune the LaFerrari, but it's not fun to drive like that. Off to the WTC 800 with that one.

yeah 2 days after the invites went away i get a 5 star ticket with a motor and driveshaft on the wheel . However of course i get a buggati frcccckkn invite all invites are useless at this point but the veyron roadcar has a special place in the world of uselessness lmao smh
I, too, have an invitation to buy the Bugatti. I've never used an invite, do they confer a discount or are they just for cars that are not normally available?

Has anyone tried buying the vehicles without an invite? I was able to buy the Zonda R without one, which was really surprising to me, being that it is one of the most exclusive cars in the real world. I definetly thought I would need an invite for that one. I haven't tried others though.

how long ago was that? a few weeks ago it changed but there was about a month that all invite cars were available with no invite

The Zonda R is not an Invitational car. The Huayra is though.

Yeah, I had bought the ones I wanted at the time when the invites were sent out. I wanted the Zonda R, but no invite was sent for that. I decided just the other day to try and buy it and was able too. Also as Famine stated after you, it appears to not be an invitational car, which is surprising to me

I know this doesn't really help you but for some reason the game is showering me with Ferrari invites. I got 2 Ferrari invites (and I think an Aston Martin as well) AFTER PD gave us all those invites for a month. So they are out there, might just take some time and you'll get it.

It's not exactly useless if you paint it Venom Green :)

You had had one month time to buy every invite car you want

While there was that complimentary window afforded following the backlash, along with the gifted 1mill credits from PD, a lot of us (myself included) haven't had a single invite since.

Personally I have no interest in the invites, as the cars are all useless as far as actual competitive racing is concerned or there are viable alternatives, but it is a glaring observation that having invites and engine swaps locked behind a heavily skewered "RNG" mechanic, means the majority of people just won't get access to that content of they actually want it.

I didn't have much credits in the free invite period, so didn't buy any of them as I thought invitations wouldn't be so scarce. I have won three invitations in roulettes (and from a menu book I think?) and I'm pretty sure all of them have been the Bugatti. Annoying as he'll.

I received my first regular invite the other day. It was for Bugatti, but the stupid thing was that I had received the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 road car as a daily ticket reward two days prior. I didn’t think the latter was possible, but moral of the story is the invite ended up being kinda redundant. :boggled:
