Am I the Only Person Who Hates Tsukuba?

Hondas are ****.

Wow i would think people that are old enough to post in forums would get the concept that its not the car that some one drives it the driver that makes that car. Every one can have their personal preference and srsly any thing with RWD is acceptable in the drift world. So just appreciate the competition and go on with your lives

Hondas are **** though. You can't drift a FWD + they sound like **** too.

Really? IRL i have never been smoked by a Honda. they are all POS cars. Cheap ass fools.

I just favorited the Tsukuba vid for the footwork alone lol

Anyway this whole hate thing going down is about as sad as the whole PS3/Xbox thing. Preferences are fine but if you're really a fan of cars and motorsports you gotta respect everything.

Let me hear the wankel engine sound as good as that !

ha ha need some oil for that Wankel? Or how bout a rebuild[/QUOTE]

first off this isnt directed at you personally.

how has hondas being good or bad and rotaries being anything got to do with tsukuba being a track you like or hate?

You guys are off topic for a page now... No, your not the only one that hates Tsukuba. I use to hate it,but as I learned my own lines. I love the track.

N/A Rotaries sound really nice. No fan blades interrupting the symphony. They last a lot longer than turbo rotaries, too. Mine lasted 190k before the seals started to give up.

Honda's twin cams sound great, too. But to me, no other engine sound compares to a N/A rotary.

Sorry for being off-topic, but I had to defend. Tsukuba has its uses. :)

**** YEAH! Straight from New Zealand!! Kiwi Rotarys represent!

All this rotary hate is ignorant.

A engine is as only as good as you maintain and build it. My rotary has well over 100k on it and the car has been abused at drift days. Still have perfect compression and no leaks. So how is that unreliable?

Also nothing can compare to the sound of the 787b, scoot 4 rotor, and BMI 4rotor.

This is what all cars should sound like.

driftline.jpg

This is the line I use for Tsukuba. The whole link is drifting, no straightening up at all.

Hopefully it will help someone else that hates it. Its a tight track and requires a bit of technique to link but its not to bad.

This is me having some fun on Tsukuba. I agree that too many drift rooms use this track, i wish there was more variety, but it's a great track. If you don't want to watch the wheel work, the Replay starts at 1:43. :)👍

Ahh you make it look so relaxing :P I'm getting better but still end up with frantic wheel cranking moments lol

How do you drift in the cockpit view? I find the wheel animations distracting to the point I can't use it to drift at all x.x

At first I hated it, because it was very difficult for me to drift around it. Once I got better at drifting, I love it now and am able to drift every corner. If you look carefully there is 2 separate sections that can be linked into a few chains that I have found.

this is where im at now, i love the track for time attack/road racing i cant drift it to save my life, but i think as i get better i'll like it more

I like the dash and view from in the car. I pay attention to the road and where i want to go, so i don't really notice the in-game wheel not in sync. I really wish they did have it 900* in the game like Live for Speed. And i wish there was no Shift LOCK so i could up-shift while drifting and not having to let the rpms drop. 💡
