This is fun.

Ah, yes, "liberal organizations"...[checks notes]...the Cato Institute, the Constitution Project and the Rutherford Institute.

I skimmed through it, basically what I expected. Everything I don’t like is “woke/socialism/radical/blah blah” and the person I endorse is nothing without my greatness so I’m also going to once again display that I won’t help you if I can’t get something out of it.

I’m fairly certain you could create a bot that just makes these “statements” up and they’d sound believable.

Do people not just say "get up" when they wake up?

But ya, "woke" is super cringey in my opinion since it's overused and used incorrectly most of the time. Also, most of the stuff the right considers "woke" is just stuff that makes you a decent human being. Not being racist, sexist, or homophobic isn't being woke, it's being the opposite of a bigot.

Could always use the wrong term I waked up.

It would mean having to use the phrase "aroused from my slumber" when describing your morning.

I'm not sure whether that's better or worse.
TBH, I'd be more than ok to replace "woke" with...

...in the space of incoherent vernacular that the hard-right seems to love.

Also, I'm a child, and I'd find it personally amusing at least for a little while.

In other news, Paul Manafort was just busted trying to flee the country.

As much as I'm overjoyed at Schmo's demise, there's another idiot running in that race. She is Katie Britt. A Marjorie Taylor Greene wannabe. Her claim to fame is that she was some figurehead in Richard Shelby's office but more importantly she's married to former Alabama football player Wesley Britt. Her ads have started polluting our airwaves down here. I try to get to the remote to change the channel when they start but unfortunately I've seen a little bit of them.

In one she's standing in an empty school room and says this is what Fauci and his crowd want to turn our schools into. Well Katie the reason our schools had to go to remote is that they were so short staffed BECAUSE THE STAFF WAS SICK YOU MORON!!!!! and to try and keep everyone else healthy. Plus you can't be standing in a public school room because Conservatives hate public schools. Private schools, especially christian private schools are what you support. Katie how many of your base can afford to send their kids to private schools? Now we're not talking about the upper crust Republicans in Mt. Brook but how many in Hazel Green, or Eva, or Cullman. Chances are the percentage isn't too high.

In another one she's still pandering to the idiot base and says she'll tell Fauci to stay out of Alabama. Yes that's right. We don't need no fancy talking city doctor feller being concerned about our health down here. We're #2 in adult percentage of the population with diabetes and we have the 7th highest obesity rate in the country. "So yeah Fauci keep all your nonsense about keeping healthy out of our state!!!"

So is she better or worse than Tuberville? Or is the answer "Yes"?

And this from the Washington Examiner, I can't help but guess that the article was highly critical of Sasse's candor.
