Oh boy. Is Middlebrooks the next jurist against whom the fat bitch foments violence?

Is it even Trumpism when you're too "patriotic" to drop a case when even tfg tells you to and end up getting fined a million bucks? Anti-Trump Trumpism, maybe. Alina appears to have hurt herself (and her client) in her confusion.

It seems kinda ironic that Habba was crowing about Twitter not using another firm last month.

If you look at the Google reviews for the firm, they bungled up some other stuff as well.

I am shocked, shocked, that the Supreme Court's months-long exhaustive investigation over who leaked the draft of the Roe overturning that didn't bother to investigate the person who leaked it (Alito) has turned up no actual evidence to charge anybody who might have leaked it (Alito) nor any evidence of where they can go from there to prevent any situations where someone high in the court (Alito) might reveal court opinions weeks in advance of when they are supposedly still to be determined; even though it's alleged that the leaked opinion directly contributed towards the inability of Roberts to dissuade someone (Alito) in the majority from pushing the extreme hard-line stance that was adopted.

Alito or Thomas (or one of their wives). It's a mystery we will never find out.

Accurate.

You just know they found out who did it and were immediately filled with dread and regret.

lol.

Oh, right. Yeah, no, I definitely did ask the justices and it wasn't any of them or their spouses. That's cleared up and you don't have to inquire any further. Excuse me, I need to go home and feed my cat.

Seems like something should be done about this, eh? If it was normal for leaders to take home classified docs then I guess the new normal is a dick measuring contest on who can be caught with classified docs? This is why I can't do politics anymore, it is truly a waste of my time.

Speaking of wastes of time, California has dealt with a rash of shootings this week. One of the shooters was so dangerous that a Cameraman was posted about 20 feet from the suspect as cops with weapons drawn arrested him. I'm no conspiracy theorist but this looks staged as hell.

With as much paperwork as they have to have coming across their desks, none of this surprises me. What is telling is how the respective parties either self-report or respond to the raid search of their residence.

I have the nagging suspicion I'm going to regret asking this, but...why?
Letting a cameraman post up a few feet away from cops with weapons drawn seems out of SOP at minimum. Why on earth did cops wait to arrest the guy until the whole city could capture it on film? Did they need the photo op that badly? The guy isn't a bystander holding a phone camera, he's a professional who showed up at the scene and set up his equipment all before cops could conduct a simple arrest? And by "showed up at the scene" I mean that arrest is literally taking place in the parking lot of a police station. Baddie drove himself to a police station and sat in his car. This suggests to me there should've been maybe a couple minutes max delay in conducting the arrest, yet we see camera crews fully prepared to capture.

It's fairly obvious that the cops waited to conduct the arrest. My question is...why? Bad guy shows up, you arrest him asap. Not sure anything else is more important than that. Somehow, a slew of reporters managed to figure out precisely which car baddie was sitting in before the cops bothered to take him into custody. I just don't understand why this was the order of operations. Like did they have to call his mom to get permission to take him but she was at work so she had to call back after her meeting was over and in that amount of time all the reporters listened to the scanner, drove to the station, and posted up? Do reporters just hang out at police stations in California?

Why is California so weird?

Some photographers have a habit of ignoring grave danger to get the money shot, or that seeing a serious moment through the lens distances oneself from potential risks.

Police scanners work, are widely available, and the media do use them to be first on the scene in many instances.
Also, a lot has gone done in the area lately. More than likely they were posted at the station to get a statement on events.
Just sayin’
😜

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out why anyone would be surprised there were a lot of reporters outside the Sheriff's Office in the city in which a mass shooting event had just taken place. The suspect literally drove to where the reporters were. I'm almost certain he wanted his arrest to be recorded.

Obama, Clinton and Bush are too busy hanging out filming their new sitcom to have classified documents.

I believe all three of them are presently younger than Biden was at inauguration, which is an insane thing.

It's super close. I can't be bothered to figure it out exactly, but Bush is a month older than Clinton and Biden at inauguration could be between the two of them presently.

So I noticed that the Annoying Orange is being allowed back on Facebook and Instagram soon, and apparently there's an interesting little conundrum that's formed as a result...

Facebook has three billion users. Truth Social may have as many as five million accounts - though it's likely it has far fewer active users.

However, Mr Trump has an exclusivity agreement with Truth Social - that means he is legally required to post first on the platform - six hours before any other platform.

It means if he posts on Facebook or Twitter - there is a chance he could get sued.

Not that I really expect a contract dispute from Truth Social to amount to much in the grand scheme of things, but getting sued by the social media platform that he himself helped to create would really just be a lovely bow on the entire package, I think.

His exclusivity with TS ends sometime before August 2023. My guess is at that point he will migrate over to the other platforms fully (if Twitter still exists at that time).
