The irony being the Jews that don't vote for him are primarily from states that he wouldn't win anyways, including his "home state", New York.

Is Trump himself against those things?
Who knows what Trump is for or against?

He sued Timothy O'Brien for $5 billion dollars for claiming Trump wasn't as rich as he said he was. He was unsuccessful in this suit, but he tried. He also said that his financial statements should be ignored because, as statements, they were "worthless".

Which is it? Is he as rich as he says he is, or can we ignore his claims of wealth as being worthless claims?

He referred to military people who lost their lives in service to their country as "losers" and also said "greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for his country".

He's been both pro-choice and pro-forced birth.

He pretended the pandemic away (and a million extra people died as a result) AND he claimed credit for vaccine development.

He simply says, in the moment, whatever makes him feel good. In that moment. Driven by his NPD.

If he becomes President again and has to decide what action he should take regarding (insert important issue here), he will continue to say whatever makes him feel good. In that particular moment.

I'll accept that if a leader has a slight touch of narcissism, it's probably a good thing, even if it's only to give that person adequate self-confidence in decision-making. However, when it reaches the level of NPD and beyond, where the person is living in a fantasy world and we are treated as mere constructs of his fantasy world, then that person needs to be kept out of public office.

So I take it that it’s just me who thinks that would be hilarious and I really hope that exact thing happens
I really wish that right wingers could muster this kind of apathy and humor when it comes to subjects that really don't harm anyone. Like when a guy puts on a dress or someone wants to be called "she". Or when two people that want to be called "he" want to get married.

Two women give each other a peck in a children's cartoon and the world is ending. The green M&M wears the wrong shoes and the world is ending. Some people get loan forgiveness and the world is ending. An electric car gets purchased and the world is ending.

But a convicted felon fraudster and rapist, having announced his plans to be a dictator, being elected to run (among other things) the most powerful military on Earth, in the history of the Earth, now that's funny.

These things are funny to you are they? Bigot.
No.

Two options:
1) You didn't read what I wrote. In which case read it again.
2) You understood and intentionally misrepresented, in which case the only one you're fooling is you.

I'd like right wingers to laugh that off. Instead, we get this scorched Earth over nothing:

But again, upset about a rapist felon running the US? We should lighten up right?

You literally said that right wingers (like me, right?) should instead laugh at men putting on a dress and wanting to be called she. Which can only imply that you think that kind of thing should be considered funny

Why must one have to be either 100% on the left or the right? Can you only think in such black and white terms? If you’re not us you must be them?

.
Yes, absolutely. Who better?

Ok so it's intentional. Yes, I'd prefer they laughed at than than got angry. This means nothing about my opinion of dresses.

Where does this come from? No I don't agree with that.

Kid Rock for one. Trump for another. Elon. Fox News. Basically every right-wing talking head in existence whose sole function is to piss people off about absolutely nothing.

I don't find the prospect of Trump being elected remotely funny. But I wish that the people above could muster your nihilistic apathy when it comes to most of the things that anger them, including Budweiser spokespeople, kids' books, and plant-based meat.

So I take it that it’s just me who thinks that would be hilarious and I really hope that exact thing happens, and the next sitting president of the USA serves his term from a prison cell. It apparently can happen, legally, therefore it must happen.

No thanks, the failed experiment went awry eight years ago.

Go play Sim City and unleash a lack of empathy.

If you need something more hands-on, buy a ton of Lego. I did it in my youth:

I'd make planes, cars, ships, bulidings...even had those "roads" that are featured in your scanned catalog. When I was bored (that is, too much stasis in "Lego-Land"), it was natural disaster time!

Chaos!

(It) will explode like a thousand suns
I have become Death, Destroyer of Worlds!

And then from the debris, comes new life. New bulidings, new cars, new happy Lego people. They are unaware of any previous disaster, nor are they prepared for the next Big One.

How do you rectify this?

I remember this one video in particular where a parent is reading a rather graphic passage from a book about gay sex to a school board committee, and the committee leader said like “please don’t use language like that in here”, and the parent was like “but this is literally from one of the books in the school library”

No wonder they’re saying satire is dead, reality is way more absurd than anything anyone could write!

First of all, what's this have to do with the discussion? You read the word "rectify" and tried to tell us a story about a book with gay sex in it?

Secondly, I don't see the problem with that book being in the library. You haven't mentioned which library which could be important, but I don't see a problem with high school kids reading something like that.

Neither do I, it doesn’t affect me in any way, I just found that particular situation funny. For clarification it was some school in the US, and the parent was reading a passage from a book in the school’s library, complaining that it might be too graphic for children, and it was apparently too graphic for the adults on the school board committee.

I’d try and find the video in question but I dunno how I’d even search for that

If it doesn't effect you then why are you supporting a presidential candidate who thinks that it does effect you and wants to ban such books? Some state governors have already enforced relatively strict book bans, like in Texas.

Like I said originally, I don’t support Trump for his politics, I support Trump for the absurdity of a convict running a successful presidential campaign from prison. Imagine how inept the dems would have to be to lose to that. It’d be hilarious.

Many school libraries catering to very young kids have books with stories such as the father who offered his virgin daughters to a mob, and subsequently, these same daughters got the same father drunk on two nights in a row and took turns at having sex with him.

On face value, I'd have thought a "Lot" of parents in the South would want these books banned, but they actually promote the reading of this filth. /s

Well as I suppose as long as you can't vote then you can root for whatever team you want. Sad thing is there are plenty of voting Americans who will make the same decision for similar reasons, choosing something potentially destructive just for amusement.

Oh yeah I know that one, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory - definitely needs banning right away.

That was 2016. There's no "potentially" about it any more, and no excuse.

Just as there wasn't in 2020, only he's added a threat of dictatorship to it now...

You quoted me but you didn't really respond.

Anyway, please supply the book, the passage read, and the location.

Various far left groups do their fair share of posturing. “Bash a fash” and all that. But that’s all it is, posturing on the internet.
Oh look, more nonsense right wing go-to’s.

“Both sides do it”. No, they don’t. Far left groups don’t call for war & death because their (non-existent) cult leader was held accountable.

No, they call for war and death because people dare to have different opinions to them

You're very good at being unable to comprehend points.

Right-wing love to posture online with concerning statements about harming others. You claim the far-left "does it too", which is untrue. Do they posture? Yes. But it is not of the same magnitude & vilification the right-wing talking heads do.

Sure it is.
