Anthony Scarmucci - White House Communications Director late July 2017 - very slightly later July 2017.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that Trump finds a cabinet spot for Gary Busey soon.

Seeing how much of a circus American politics have become, I think it would be great to see more of Hollywood trying to ru(i)n the country.

I'm going to do one of my buzzkill "I know you were joking but..." posts.

Politicians cannot ruin this country. America is a country of and for the people. It's the people that make it what it is, for better or worse.

I say, give Hollywood a chance. Michael Bay as Secretary of Defense. Explosions everywhere. Johnny Depp as
Secretary of the Treasury. Kanye as El Supremo. And a bunch of coked up has-beens as diplomats scattered around the globe.

Man. Awesome.

The DOW has hit 22k. This seems too good. I was listening to a financial show and they sound sceptical and warn of future market corrections.

Time will tell.

Ya it's overvalued right now and a downturn is coming. I'm in the process of moving all my stuff over to more conservative funds until the market balances back out.

Maybe they will finally figure out who really leaked the DNC emails to WikiLeaks, and what happened to Seth Rich. Assange has said it wasn't the Russians and has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to solving the Seth Rich murder.

At this point, Assange seems much more believable than the Democrat media.

Award-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh is now also saying Seth Rich leaked the DNC emails to Wikileaks. He says he knows the DC police got a warrant for Rich's computer, finally hacked it, and found samples of DNC email sent to Wikileaks. Combine that with what Assange is saying - he who has the reputation for never lying, not even once, and it becomes very easy to see why there is no police investigation of Rich's murder, and Hersh does not appear in hardly any US media.

Here is the audio of Seymour Hersh that was released by Wikileaks.

*Language Warning*

They've speculated Rich was the leak for over a year now. The issue has always been finding hard evidence between it & his murder.

According to Seymour Hersh in the audio I posted above, Rich lived in a crappy neighborhood, and the murder had nothing to do with the leaks. It was just a coincidence.
I should've elaborated that for the conspiracists, there was always a need to find a link between the 2. Most on the left seemed to brush it off as nonsense. At the same time, personally never heard much about left's the general opinion of Rich being a leak or not to begin with.

Sting will head the NSA actually.

Man, the number of people who play this at weddings thinking that it is romantic when it is about stalking someone...

The perfect theme for the rights-infringing, unaccountable NSA.

So how long before Trump plays Born In The USA at a rally about war? :D

They say artists are at their best creating works about subjects they know well or hold dear.

Given that Sting, the ex-teacher, has another famous song about a teacher who wants to [redacted] a hot pupil who fancies him, he rather worries me.

More outrageous comments.

please be fake, please be Baron doing social media for his dad. I don't say please cause I support or endorse Trump, but rather please cause I'm a manga fan and also a guy that feels equally insulted for Japan without being a Japanese national. This simple tweet is akin to anyone doing a google search for a geography paper the night before said paper is due. Not having a clue what they actually typed about the nation and obviously being ignorant. Also for us Americans we have to actually say this is our President...which in itself is sad when he types out this crap.

Even if it is fake, there is all the other trite that isn't fake from this person. Also considering how he was received by the Japanese first lady already should have been a bit embarrassing.

Gotta admit he'd get more done and help change the illogical drug classifications faster than anyone else to have been in power

Which is why I said even if fake, it highlights how easy it could be believed based on other real tweets that are just as outrageous and inane. I figured it was fake but wanted to post on it anyways and try to highlight what I just mentioned.
The fake address in the actual tweet is a bit of a giveaway.

Don't know why this is still a thing.

For some time the USAF have been looking to purchase two 747-8 to replace the VC-25s (aka 747-200) currently used as Air Force One when the president is aboard. "Cancel order!" said Trump when the cost was announced.

Now it seems that he might benefit from the much cheaper purchase of a pair of ex-Russian 747s. In fairness they're brand new, are in dry storage in Mojave and were never delivered as part of the order made by now-bankrupt Transaero... but that R-word just won't go away ;)

Why what is still a thing?

I know this is a bit of a joke, considering but yeah it is funny that people keep playing off of coincidence. Though I'd say that American built passenger airline planes purchased by a defunct Russian airliner, who never had the check clear, doesn't really make them "Russian 747s".

Also the original order was canceled cause the planes that were originally being looked at would have been fresh built to order. Considering the cost of a 747-8 is around three hundred fifty million a pop, and then has to undergo Airforce defense modifications which are pretty intensive, it's quite costly. Especially considering I haven't heard any justification for replacing the 747-200, other than guessing it's due to age.

They're thirty years old (26 in service) and the parts are increasingly hard to get hold of - it's a very old version and almost every part has since been redesigned. There's a documentary about Air Force One where 28000 gets a hydraulic leak in the gear while in Kuwait (not a region that's normally short on airliner parts) and they have to scour the globe to find a replacement part so that they can fly both planes out together.

The way the Presidential office does business requires a flying mobile command centre and those things aren't cheap... but it is how America does business. Their cost would be 0.4% of this year's US Defense budget - if that budget remained constant and these planes flew for 20 years then that original purchase/equipment cost becomes 0.02% of that budget.
