According to Nashville officials there's a possibility of human remains. At least one network, though, is leaving out the word "possibility".
So from what I’ve seen this morning law enforcement think it was a suicide bombing.

Pretty sure its almost impossible to get ammonium nitrate nowadays.
Lots of 911 dispatches down throughout the state. Still no AT&T cell service.
I’m thinking something to harm law enforcement or attack on telecommunications or AT&T.

Can’t really see a religious nut doing this but one of those 5G conspiracy guys wouldn’t surprise me.
This seems to be the leading theory.

You see, I thought the funniest Twitter response to this I saw was going to be this:

But it turned out it was this:

Seeing more credible publications starting to indicate it was 5G paranoia/conspiracy theory behind this. Man we're in a dark place these days..
Really, how could it be anything else? People stupid enough to believe that garbage are easily stupid enough to blow themselves up in an attempt to disrupt it.

I'm just glad that this person doesn't seem to have blown up any innocent casualties. I'll never be able to listen to Petula Clark's "Downtown" in the same way again though.

Did the suspect not consider the possibility of the telecommunications company fixing the damage? It was a big explosion, but knowing business, that network will be back online inside a week.

It's 2020, you could tell me the guy blew up the building because his spaghetti told him to and I wouldn't even question it.
So, yeah...I have the good sense to not go and do what my food tells me to, but I realize not everyone is able to take a moment and think about what would happen if they acted on the demands of an egg salad sandwich.

An egg salad sandwich has no idea what it's talking about, fake news. Now a BLT will tell the absolute truth.

Yeah. I know how convincing you told me the sandwich was, but it's not going to get you off scot-free from this trespassing charge.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that actually was the reason considering what some people will do in the name of a deity.

Careful, some people will claim that said egg salad sandwich had commands from god.

These remarks are probably better for the god thread, but I wouldn’t rule out religious motives for this bombing.

I assume you've watched Futurama, therefore you should know just how much benefit an egg salad sandwich can have...especially from a truck stop bathroom.

I've seen a handful of episodes. There's really only one thing that's stuck with me from the show...

"That's the saltiest thing I've ever tasted, and I once ate a big bowl of salt."

Some of Futurama's episodes were way too pure & Fry's conclusion made that episode one of them.

I'd recommend Jurassic Bark & The Luck of the Fryish if you haven't seen them. They really show how well rounded the series was written, that not every episode was full comedy.

Game of Tones was another good one in the final season that had a heart-tugging ending.

Everyone goes on about Jurassic Bark but Game Of Tones (the one with his mum) is just as emotional, if not more.

Best Futurama episode was that parody of Ally McBeal. Watched it yesterday and laughed almost as loud as 21 years ago when I first watched it with friends.

Sorry to derail the thread...

:P

...but how does one manage to get banned so quickly? First I've seen a post from them in the nearly four years they've been registered on the site and they're gone just two hours after said post.

2020 looks like it'll end on a wild ride. Trump is publicly supporting Bernie filibustering Mitch from voting on the defense spending bill (which Trump vetoed) until Mitch calls to vote on the $2,000 stimulus legislation.

No doubt this is revenge for Mitch not backing Trump, but I gotta give Trump credit here; he's almost out of the office and he's found a way to put Mitch in a spot that will make him public enemy #1 & Trump the good guy.
