The support race will be at 7:30-7:45ish as per usual. Historic Le Mans cars at gogatrs regs from the other series.

Should I open a room or is someone else going to?

These are the cars and hp regs (stock weights)

Jaguar XJ13- 529
Ferrari 330 P4- 468
Ford Mark IV- 578
Ford GT40- 566
Chaparral 2D- 480

You can host this time if you want TT13, I would but I'd rather not have the issue of possibly latency due to my distance from the US.

I can barely ever connect to you Mitch, lol

okay room is up 1472-6681-3200-9599-0254.

Like to have more participants this time as last race was a bit of a farce :P

Oh, and it's gonna be a night race....

@ TT13

Joined the room. Btw, does anyone have a '67 ticket that they would happily donate to me? I think I have some items in exchange for one..

We'll use the same room for the race just to make things easy, to get 200km we'll have to do 15 laps +1 pace lap so it'll be 16 laps total.

Qualifying on for Road America :D

Oh ****! Forgot to DVR it. Dammit.
I'll update the points Monday when I have access to a computer.
Right now I'm in a hotel.
Busy kicking ass IRL this weekend. :dopey:

Yeah you passed me a few times doing that but it's risky--you also hit kitty litter a few times.

Sorry about that hit in the end, thought I could pass on the inside there but you closed the gap and I had nowhere to go but grass. It was my fault because at the point you cut over you still had a whole bonnet on me.

That track just sucks all around for passing zones, unless you can get safely around on the back straits. The rest of the track is narrow as all hell and not much room to get by.

We have one more support race that kinda got thrown to the wayside. It's R10/908 battle. Anyone interested in that? We can do it whenever if you wanna just for fun.

I messed up quite some times at night. I'd even went into a corner a bit earlier than usual and cut through the grass (I always did on the Esses) and sometimes at Tetre Curve (lined zones beyond the apex). I also always early-brake at Mulsanne, before finally getting a decent enough braking point. And my pole finish was a bit unexpected. Seth ran out of gas at the 2nd chicane on the Mulsanne Straight and I took off from there. I had only less than 25 liters when I crossed the finish line.

My biggest mistake was when I was playing with my head-lights and I forgot that there was a such thing as a chicane. As implied I hit a wall at 200mph. IMO this was the best race all season, mostly because only LMP's lapped me

Yes indeed, it was the best race for me all season, too, next to Nordschleife (kinda).

I thought the pit crew knew how much gas was necessary to get to the end? I just went by their estimate...

My mistake was largely in tuning. I put my ballast weight all the way to the rear, which is fine except when I lower the DF for this track, because once tires go the rear of my car has a mind of its own. Very frustrating.

Most epic moment was beating Sparty out of the pits. Just randomly good timing. That's like something that happens in real ALMS :D

I can only think of two idiotic mistakes this race instead of the usual 255,976+ mistakes, the one listed above and during the pace lap where I attempted to warm my tires and flew myself through the sand into a wall.

Haha that was pretty funny.

I should've had pit when Seth pitted. If I did, we would have some serious battling for the rest of the race.

@ Marluxia

I noticed. Ethernet or WiFi?

Nothing other than a successful 'race weekend' for NRG Racing, convincing wins in both races atleast lets me leave this series on a high note.
