This Season starts off with the announcement of the first World Tour for the American Trans Am as well as the new addition of Two racing Classes in which to perform. Vintage meets Modern in this all out racing to the finish pushing our drivers to the limits in tuning and keeping a straight line.
Due to Possible Connection issues, and personal Life situations that may interfere with the season and your involvement, the worst 2 completed race finishes will not count towards your championship points standings.
Race results will be Post in a Graphical Form from the game itself after every race within 24 hours. Points will be added up and posted within at least 48 hours.
Restrictions are as follows, TCS, ASM, Skidforce, Active Steering will be turned off. Use of ABS, and Driving Line is allowed. Refer to GT Planets Online Racing rules ((https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=111241))) for more clarification on performance and expected behavior on the track. If a Foul is called resulting in major loss of time/place, a replay will be looked at after the race by several people and will make decision on any type of penalty or ruling.
The Races will be held in a Lounge on Sunday Evenings around 6-8pm EST. Room will be opened around 8-9 for 1 hour practice before the race with 15 minute qualifying running before. The Host will message key players signed up when room becomes available. During the Start of the Race (Main Event) A One Lap Pace or Parade Lap will be run to allow for pre-warm up of the tires. The Pole position leader will set a decent pace and a warning will be given by a person with a mic who is either on the pole or near the pole position will warn everyone on the timing of Green Light racing. During this Lap you are allowed to pass if only to speed warming up but must fall into your position quickly and before the main start. If a replay shows you out of qualifying position or going green (start racing) before the rest of the field penalties will be enacted.
The Racing Night will Consist of Both Groups running at that weeks selected Track. Group II Running before Group I. If a race is delayed it will be reschedule for the following race day. It is up to the individual to make sure they are in the lounge at the correct times. If there is a change in Green Flag racing start a notice will be given here.
Currently, Kalmiya117 is the overall Host of the Series and Helps gets things organized and setup. Skeletor27 is the Series Score Keeper for the races. He keeps track of the awarded Points for Pole Position and Field placement after the race. Our new addition to the team is Mudd, Who has offered to setup a Prize Pool for the overall Champion in the respectable classes.
A sacred burden is this life ye bear: Look on it,
lift it, bear it solemnly, Stand up and walk beneath it steadfastly.
Fail not for sorrow, falter not for sin, But onward, upward, till the
goal ye win." -Frances Anne Kemble
