a6m5Now, there is a band I haven't heard in a while! I just looked over three of their CDs, but I don't see that song.
I've seen them twice - They ROCK !... (Rocked ?) Anyway - Hush is also, and exclusively (bar Kollected), on he "Hush" EP....SmallhorsesI only have Kollected, the Best of Kula Shaker, and it's on that.
Yeah, it's a blast from the forgotten but fairly recent past!
Ashley.Green Day - sweet home alabama
GTRacer4Tool - No Quarter
I really liked:Marylin Manson's "Sweet Dreams", Limp Bizkit's "Faith", Seal's "Fly Like an Eagle". I was trying to remember a great Steve Miller Band cover, it was the "Fly like an Eagle", but I couldn't remember.Carl.Obviously not the best ones, but some that aren't already listed:
Marylin Manson - Sweet Dreams, Tainted love, Personal Jesus, too much to list here. I usually like his covers. Minus the singing bits, that is.
The Ataris Boys of summer
No doubt It's my life
Limp bizkit Behind blue eyes. (you have to hear the original version... ) oh, and Georges Micheal's Faith...
Seal Fly like an eagle

I have not heard that one, but that reminded me of another one by Manic Street Preachers, "Rain Keeps Falling On My Head". It's beautiful. Originally by Burt Bachrach, I believe.SmallhorsesManic Street Preachers - Suicide Is Painless (The Theme From MASH) (Not sure who wrote the original)
Excellent rendition!
I just heard the sample on Amazon.com. It sounds pretty good. I will try to get my hands on it, but unfortunately, my only online source iTunes don't have it. I was going over the track listing on this "Forever Delayed". I forgot how much I used to like this band. I think I'm gonna start listening to them again, so thanks!SmallhorsesFind it or download it, it's on their "best of" album called Forever Delayed
Well worth a listen.
ceiling_fanI wouldn't consider that a cover, since Nobuo Uematsu wrote the songs, and he is in The Black Mages.

Excellent, I'll have to check them out since I once tried to 'cover' an Uematsu song myself (on the gee-tar)...ceiling_fanI wouldn't consider that a cover, since Nobuo Uematsu wrote the songs, and he is in The Black Mages.
