It's the GT3 finale and we've got two special liveries for this event courtesy of the #44 BMW and the #61 McLaren.

Here is the spotter's guide for Round 7, the 2.4H race at Nurburgring.

That looks incredible! If it's not too much work, would you be interested in doing the same for the IRS Blancpain series?

Thanks to everyone that raced throughout the GT3 half of the season!!

It was a pleasure, although not the best way for the finale to have gone given how strong the field was at the top... a clean race for all of us would have seen a lot of chasing and close action for sure.

Now its the turn of the WEC Classes. Feel free to advertise the P1 slots to anyone you think might be available!

Just remember that given how the WEC races are set up, you can opt into a Class if your main one isn't racing that weekend.

As we close up on the first half of the Apex Endurance League's inaugural season, we welcome our very first set of champions.

GT3 DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP
With a very dominant record that included 3 straight wins from Suzuka to Yamagiwa, as well as being consistently at the sharp end of the field, @TNR_KING_FILO takes home the Drivers Championship driving the #65 Nissan GT-R.

GT3 TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP
While their individual performances have seen peaks and valleys, either driver of BMW Clockwork Motorsport (@Antares26 and @Storm_SP17) finished at the podium for all but one race throughout the entire GT3 calendar, and their consistent scoring earns them the Teams Championship.

Congratulations to filo and storm, the start was a bit ropey for me finding a tune for the car but got it kinda sorted that I could race.
And to get third with the roster of drivers that are here, has been a great series for me.

Now that the GT3 calendar's out of the way, I wanted to talk to everyone about a few things regarding the upcoming WEC calendar.
  • We're currently discussing about moving the lobby opening times, and by extension, the race start times, forward by an hour or two.
  • On the subject of the WEC calendar now less than a month away, I would like to request everyone to share their liveries on the GTSport community and send links to them to either myself or @Storm_SP17 in order for them to be checked prior to the start of the WEC half of the season.
As it stands, our WEC entry list is as follows:
P1-H
@StigsTC
@DaGiBUS
@andrew1990 → Moved to Reserves
@Sniparator
@Storm_SP17

P2

Keep in mind that GP1 will possibly affect quite a few drivers. I should be able to make all the P2 races and the finale barring unforeseen cirsumstances.

Which is also a reason for moving the start time back. We'd want to avoid the hosts running late themselves.

APEX ENDURANCE LEAGUE
ROUND 7 (WEC ROUND 1) PRE-RACE POST

Track: Dragon Trail - Seaside
Track Time: 13:00 (Qualifying), 16:30 (Race)
Race Length: 83 Laps (Approx. 115 Minutes)

Date: September 7, 2019
Lobby Opening: 22:00 UTC
Qualifying Start: 22:30 UTC
Race Start: 23:00 UTC

The summer break is over and we are now entering the second half of the Apex Endurance League's inaugural season. From racing with GT3 machines we now enter multi-class racing based on the WEC. For our opening round, we take to Croatia's Dragon Trail-Seaside course with the fastest machines of the entire Apex Endurance League car roster, the P1H and P2 classes. There's a lot of potential for close racing so it's best that everyone be prepared.

As usual, here are our reminders for the race:
  • Everyone has free choice on starting the race on either Racing: Hard or Racing: Medium tyres.
  • When a car suffers Engine Damage, regardless of collision with another car or from a single car accident, drivers are required to indicate "D" in the in-game chat.
  • With Formation Laps rendered unnecessary due to the fixed lap count settings, the race will start as soon as the Rolling Start countdown reaches zero.

Driver Attendance Confirmation
Please reply in the thread to confirm the status of your attendance for the race.

P1H Class
P2 Class
NOTES:
  • Due to their entries conflicting between two classes in this round, @StigsTC and @andrew1990 will need to choose which class they will compete in for this round.
  • All drivers tagged in this post MUST HAVE THEIR LIVERY UPLOADED BY FRIDAY, September 6 in order to have their liveries reviewed prior to the race.

Not able to make this round and asked Noir to make me a reserve for the rest of the season. Have a good race.

ROUND 8 (WEC ROUND 2) PRE-RACE POST

Track: Autodromo Interlagos
Track Time: 09:30 (Qualifying), 13:45 (Race)
Race Length: 83 Laps (Approx. 115 Minutes)

Date: September 14, 2019
Lobby Opening: 22:00 UTC
Qualifying Start: 22:30 UTC
Race Start: 23:00 UTC

With the P1/P2 race at Dragon Trail done and dusted, we move on to one of the more exciting class pairings in the season. It's the P2/GTE 115 minute race around Interlagos. The relatively mid-speed course should provide for some good racing, and maybe the few hairy moments for when the prototypes come around lapping the field. We have a talented field for both classes though so this shouldn't be much of an issue.

  • All GTE drivers tagged in this post MUST HAVE THEIR LIVERY UPLOADED BY FRIDAY, September 13 in order to have their liveries reviewed prior to the race.
