Wow I must be missing something.. I've been practising a bit now and when I got my line almost perfect I got a 1:04.386 (maybe 1 tenth to improve in total).. and my car has 213.. I wonder if I'm taking some wrong lines but I really don't know what i could do to go faster.

Btw, i'm not allowed to change anything right? not even aero?

I think so, but I think you can change brake balance. I'm running 2/10, which could help if you haven't changed that. That time was about as fast as I could go with 5/5

Whew, after a bit more struggle I was able to put up a 03.509. Still lost probably half a tenth in the final sector though. :grumpy: And I definitely agree with you on the track... just never been a big fan

You did that at 207BHP? We are going to get killed when you get 213BHP.

(R1600Turbo... you are our teams only hope)

2/10? I run 5/5 to 2/3 at this track. Interesting.

Right. I didn't run the PURE race today because I qualified in D2. Pitiful.

Everyone seems to be about on par with my times, many of you faster. I used to be fast, then everyone else got faster and passed me up. :dopey:

Haha, no, I'm sure I'll either choke in qualy, or just plain screw up during the race. Give my inconsistency some credit :sly:

Well, IMHO everyone on GTP is faster now. Even in open online rooms it's harder to keep in the top 3 than just a few months ago.

I was watching some older replays and we all made little mistakes that we don't do anymore. Over all .3 to .5 faster on average, others are a full 1.5 seconds faster.

You can't change aero with tuning prohibited. You can only change brake balance and use the power limiter. :)

Keep practising, and just keep trying new lines. Sometimes I've found the strangest lines actually appear to be faster. :ill:

I'm using 4-1. 👍

I've noticed this as well. I always used to be mid-high pack then found some speed and moved to the top end of the pack. And now I'm often struggling to stay in the top 4-5. :(

EDIT: Does anyone remember their approximate split times? I'd like to know where I can improve as at the moment I'm not sure where to concentrate on.

I might not make the practice race today. (Passed my driving test Wednesday and have little time for anything else other than burning fuel aimlessly)

I can always remember my split 1 time, its a 15.126. I think I'm losing a few tenths in the last corner, the understeer is killing my times :(. Managed a 1:03.796 at 213 after about 30 mins of practise

Off topic, but your signature is quite cruel.

And extremely funny.

He is football brained so he is quickly forgeting English..

I've known this for years now. :sly:

Yes this a very mockable question BUT!

Am I to assume that all driving aids cept ABS off also means the driving line?

yep, only thing you can have on is ABS. You can use the driving line in your lobby/lounge to practice, but not in the race :)

I didn't say I used it :embarrassed:

Heh but ok thanks for clearing that up.

I'm quite interested. Anyone in Div4/5 who's interested too? Or is willing to take on a Div4 driver? :D

I have a practice room open if anyone wants to join:

Edit: ROOM CLOSED

I'm at 15.1xx at T1, 33.9xx at T2 and 1:03.7xx by the line. Just want to fins where to concentrate on. :)

Are we not full???

Last I checked there's some spots for new drivers :)

Well we have 16 (Rosckolove still shows no interest though) full time sign ups + carracer (misses 2), 2 reserves and another 2 who've shown interest before. :indiff:

That's how I make it. It's Dax's series though, so see what he says. However if we accept more entries we'll have to develop some sort of method for picking who races.... :indiff:

I was running 1:04.0xx at 5/5 brake bias. Switched to 3/7 and hit a 1:03.7xx after a couple laps.
