That is a bit funny because everyone who finished got points. :P that means only two full teams made it to the finish.. but we didn't gain much from that ^^ was hoping for marunda to pick up a bit more points since i was so far behind..

Oh and I second the thing about increasing the finishing time, so that we in the back get to finish.. could have passed someone before the line..

So was I.

If we were racing yesterday I'd have been fine I was running 1:03s pretty much solid for 40 mins, but today I just couldn't get it feeling right. So hopefully I'll be more with it in Suzuka. :)

Yeah I hope we can get some better points in next time.. I should have gotten more than 1 as well ^^ had 8th place but pitted for fuel.. shouldn't have done that.. might have crept in to 8th anyway :P

Hopefully. Without the two offs I'd have been happy, but they really put a downer on it and really ruined my chances. :(

Unfortunately Suzuka is a track where I traditionally spin or get taken out. :ill:

Your so sickening fast so you shouldn't have to be that much on the edge all the time. :P If you spin next time I'll have to take the others out when they lap me. 💡

Trouble was that it was my first competitive race in a while and I was getting twitchy being stuck behind Brando/Dax and with R1600 breathing down my neck which meant I kept making mistakes. Need to get used to dealing with the pressure again. Once I can do that I should be able to get some decent points. :)

Suzuka in Elises S1 I spun in the lead (caught a bit of grass in the Esses). :ouch:

And Suzuka in GT1s S3 I got caught up in a massive accident.

Hi,
Could you sign up tony1311 to the league please.
Colour and team name to follow.
Many thanks

I don't mean to be rude, but, really?

The guy struggles to find competition in PURE. Why on earth does he want to race with us? :scared:

True enough I guess. Qualified badly but managed to make up a few places before running out.

I assume that this series appeals to him and the time slot works. He just asked me to sign him up. 👍

That may force me to drop out guys. Any chance of winning just went down the toilet.

And I might as well jump on the bandwagon.

After all, you don't see me joining PURE events either, because there's most likely no one slow enough to race against.

Actually you would be surprised, no offense to those who are. But you would still have some good competition. 👍 I stick around there because I started at race #1 and Tony came in a couple races later, but I get the feeling he's following me over here because I complained about him after the last PURE race. :scared:

This is why I made the point:

Most people don't find the challenge of racing for 2nd very appealing. And Tony joining will drive those people to out. :indiff:

No offense to him and I totally respect his speed/skill. 👍

Thanks for the reply's, I will pass the message on.
Good luck with your series 👍

I don't want to make it sound like we're turning him away or to dissuade him from joining. That's Dax's decision.

I'm merely stating the thoughts that most people are having (the mere mortals). :)

Let's just say for Saturdays PURE GATE race at Suzuka, I qualified in 2nd position + 7 tenths off the pole. Guess who was on the pole.

You guys were talking about hitting 2's at Tsukuba on Sunday. Tony would have done it, guaranteed.

Never heard of him before, sounds like a replica Spurgy :ill:
Much worse.

Well, I could hit a 2 give more time. Not sure what he would run.

Still, really guys? You don't want to race if a guy is faster? He's not completely unbeatable (well maybe...). I personally like having someone that is that fast in a series. Gives me more reason to show up and give a 110%.

That's just the thing, I don't want to be at 110% all the time. I was for the first ~14 laps or so on Saturday, then backed off as I knew there was no way in hell I was going to catch him. If I had kept up that pace I surely would have made a mistake and given up my podium.

One of the reasons I signed up for this series was to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere outside GATE.

I do have to admire someone who can always race that quickly. My days of running up front have passed since my skill seems to have hit a wall and everyone else has gotten better over the past year.
