Well the cars certainly lively. It likes to get a bit squirrely on corner exits and it sure likes lock up that inside wheel at Turn 1 (and consequently, get sideways).

Ran 20 laps or so and am pretty much low in the 1:04s. I'm hoping that once I'm fully used to using a wheel again and my car has been run in that I'll be braking into the 1:03s. :)

EDIT: Ok, down to a 1:04.1, however there's .2-3 to come out sector 2, and I reckon another 1-2 over the lap on top of that. Still at 207bhp. Will test more over the weekend.

Also bear in mind that this is one of the most hateful tracks in the game in my opinion. :yuck:

Like you, I have 207hp, and just started practicing. After a bit of a struggle, it took just 5 laps for me to get to 1'04.272, before I realized I had left TC at 5. (Why can't they have aids off by default? :grumpy: Except ABS of course) Well, after fixing it up, I got back on track, took a few laps to warm up my tires, and on the 5th lap yet again, got my current best, which is 1'03.989. I'm genuinely surprised I'm able to keep up a pace like this already, but guess it's partially thanks to the laps after laps of testing Elises at Tsukuba, only to have the season cancelled prematurely. :P

Oh and... just to keep the tradition up...

BOOM!

I agree. Remember how I qualified 9th here in both Elise seasons? No matter where I qualify this time around, I have to say that this is a terrible track. :grumpy:

Nice one. 👍

Still got a lot of time to find in mine (most notably in T2) especially since I'm readjusting to the wheel after getting my replacement.

Are you running tyre/fuel use on very fast? I'm finding that by the time the tyres are warmed up they've already lost a fair bit of grip. :ill:

But yes, I've traditionally been well under where I usually am at other tracks here. I can just never get it hooked up right. I think it's because I tend to favour momentum oriented tracks, which this, certainly is not.

I reckon with a lot of practise I can get down into the high-mid 1:03s, but I'm really not counting on it. :yuck:

Of course I'm running very fast tire wear, I always double-check the settings when I start practicing for a series. :P

And to be fair, it feels to me like the PlayStation Pescarolo from GT4, fuel is used up faster than tires.

I guessed so, it just seems like I'm losing out on those couple of laps where the tyres are at their fastest.

Anyway, I'll get back on on Friday and, with any luck, nab me a 1:03. :)

I love it. In fact, I wish we had more small technical tracks like Tsukuba.

For me the corners lack variation and the cars never really get to stretch their legs properly. :indiff:

However, each to their own. :)

It might also be to do with how tricky (yet, somewhat rewarding when done right) the first turn is without ABS. :dopey:

Aw, guess I need to run SSRX in order to break this car in. Well, at least I finally found improvement again (1'03.909) but that final sector is just nuts. :irked:

Do B - spec, that way you can get the levels back, then have endurance races to run the cars on :P.

Dax, just to let you know ive gone with gold/green pearl for the car body with black wheels. And I would like to have number 14 if poss?

I love Tsukuba. Small tracks are the only ones i really get to know with the limited practising i do. ^^ And after running it in every Dax series it's a real friend now. :)

Alrighty! :dopey: I'll get my teammate to get his lazy butt on here.

So I bought a brand new car, got on the track, and belted out a 1:02.982. Next lap was 1:02.445. Now I'm parked reading this to see if I've done something wrong.:P

Also, what colors are we running, Dano?

 Wow. The only thing I could think of would be tires... but if you're on sports hard tires then I've got some work to do :P

I am, but I've already spent a lot of time on this track with this car, so that could be it I guess. As far as I can tell I'm within regs. But I'm still a bit surprised I was able to do that with only 197 bhp

Yeah the car comes stock with those ;). Do an oil change to get to 207, then run in for 213bhp btw :).
