After we all heard 'bout the news from PDI and leaks about some of the next update features:

  • Lexus VGT - In another Update
  • Alpine VGT - In another Update
  • Mini VGT - It's here
  • B-Spec - It's here
  • Midfield Raceway - it's here
  • Paint able Custom Rear Wing - it's here
  • Paint able Mazda LM55 and Chapparal 2X - it's here
  • Also not sure but the Mysterious GT6 Track (it could be the midfield)
The Question is simply:
Are you Hyped and Excited about this upcoming update or not? What your opinion about this upcoming update?

For me this is going to be one of the best GT6 Update ever made!

I'll take any update at this point as a very good thing.

Not really, B-Spec is to late to be of any real use to me.
The track is cool but I would have much rather had Seattle or El Capitan.
Paintable spoilers do nothing for me.
The VGTs are cool but not enough to get me excited. Also not sure which if any of those will be in the next update.

Maybe they will surprise us by also adding the course maker.

I expect Midfield to be another boring, perfectly flat track like Apricot Hill. It'll be pretty, it'll be new, it'll be fun to drive a few times, but ultimately it'll be a perfect racing surface that offers little feel through the wheel and and is completely devoid of character and the little quirks that make things unique and enjoyable. No dips and dives, no unexpected bumps, ridges and track imperfections, no oddly cambered road surfaces, you know, all of the things that make the Nordschleife the most popular sim driving track in the world. Basically a Tilkedome without the name and runoff areas.

BSpec holds no interest to me. I have all the cars I want, and what time I do have to play, I don't want to spend telling an imaginary driver what to do against the worst AI in any racing game on the market.

I voted for the Project CARS option. However, I won't be buying a PS4 & playing it cos of the stupid situation regarding Logitech compatibility. So I guess I'm stuck with GT6 for now.

I'm excited and looking forward to it no doubt but I wouldn't say I'm fully hyped or anything.
I'm definitely going to drive round Midfield Raceway and check out the new cars and what not.

It's not bad as it'll probably give another 10 minutes of longevity then it'll be business as usual.

I have been racing in GT since GT1, Midfield is a loved classic track of mine, so I look forward to drive it with my replicas :) Can't wait to also drift there, much like the golden days of GT2 and GT3 ( feel young again  ) My 1st car at Midfield will we Diablo '93 replica on CH tire :D

The only time were B-Spec was useful to me was in GT4 Especially with all those 24 hours (There isn't any mid-save race like the one's that came in update for GT5 and you don't really want to have your ps2 running for 24H) and To gain money to buy rare cars and such.
GT5 B-Spec was separated from the A-Spec (Sadly) and we have already completed GT6 so it's completely useless. I didn't see why it took time to release B-Spec (even thought it has some improvement).

Like I said in the other thread, I'm not one that gets all hyped up over news, leaks, ect. Its great and exciting news yes, but I prefer to contain my excitement until things actually happen.

Don't be so negative m8. Just wait a bit for the update. In my mind, it is clear that B-spec will bring with it:
1) Endurance races for offline mode and
2) Much better AI in order to have fun (if it wasn't for the terrible AI of offline mode, B-spec would have been in GT6 long ago)

So, if these 2 come along B-spec, wouldn't you be at least positive about the update? I will be happy to be honest as we have been waited too much for these features. And I like Midlfield as a test track and its reverse for racing too.

Bad AI is the cause for the B-spec's delay imo. And that is why I am almost sure that B-spec will introduce a new, much better AI. Which will be the real update for the game.

I don't think so. And I also doubt we get "real" endurance races. If one of those things would come with 1.16, it would be in the article because those two were huge letdowns in Gt6 and PD knows this.

Edit: Update is ok, but nothing special because the feeling of the game itself isn't that good anymore. After experiencing pCars physics, there is no way back to Gt6..

I won't be truly happy until they recreate every track from GT2, 3, and 4 that is not already done. There's only a handful or two missing...
